Just upgraded to full fibre this week (end of April 2021). Am on Community Fibre and I'm getting 900+ down and 900+ up when wired - and around 700+ down/up when on Wi-Fi. It's amazing. Am also using their VoiP service for my analogue phone and kept my landline number. Through this I am able to make UK landline and mobile calls for free, for an additional £10 per month, plus if I'm abroad I can use my mobile to call home. It's INSANE. Loving the full fibre revolution!
@@KevinMuldoon Did you change anything to get it to 900? Or was it that fast by default? I'm getting the 900 in 4 days, I was on the 300 but it stuck at a solid 150.
That's right out if the box. I'm going to get a better router soon and upgrade other network components etc, so I'm hoping I can maybe improve speeds slightly.
@@KevinMuldoon I cannot use a wired connection sadly but I’m not that far from the router (my phone gets a good speed when I wifi test on it but my xbox on the other hand is very slow)
What I recommend doing is buying an ethernet cable so you can test the core speed of your connection via your laptop or PC. Then you can see for certain what upload and download speeds you get. Then you can test the WiFi connection separately on multiple devices and see how it compares.
@@BruceLeroyUK Hey, after a failed first instalment its here. 200 mbs on WiFi, 300-500 on wired dl. But my xbox tests it at 1180 mbs. Ping of 6 on WiFi and oddly 13 on xbox wired. Hope that makes sense!
Thanks for the video! Will be getting full-fibre 900 soon too. How about looking into getting Ubiquiti dream machine? With their ids/ips enable, you should be able to get your max download speed throughput and theoretically a good upload speed too.
I have looked into it. The all in one dream machine doesn't get good reviews and the dream machine pro is too big for my server rack. I switched my attention to my new PC, but I need to get a new router soon.
Mark Thomas did a segment on Channel 4 in the 1990s where he mentioned that in the event of a national emergency where customers phones were shut down that the only phone networks that would be available would be public telephones. Not sure about the current situation however. However there's still a need for a public telephone service run by BT.
Do you mean a public home telephone service? The market is very different today as most people use mobiles instead and there are many different operators that can offer home phones.
@@KevinMuldoon No, I was referring to a public telephone service in general that would cover both home and commercial use. It could be that now in a national emergency that certain parts of the radio frequency spectrum would then be allocated and restricted to state and emergency use only with public telephones being used for everyone else on a temporary basis including use of data and public Wi-fi from public telephones until the emergency period expires.
@@KevinMuldoon My comments were referring to a state of national emergency situation which is unlikely in the UK except perhaps from war, invasion or major natural disaster. However the Coronovirus crisis has shown how much change can occur in a short period of time.
Hi Kevin, I've only just seen this video, prompted by the fact I will get a 900 full fibre installed next week (FTH only just available here now). As I have a steel walled workshop at the top of our rear garden I have been using a Zyxel Multi X AC3000 Try-Band Mesh system attached to an EE Hub to get a wifi signal inside the workshop. Would you have any idea if this will still work when I plug it into the BT Smart Hub next Friday?
For security reasons, that's not something you should do. The 2.4ghz channel is used by many smart devices. Many of the smart bulbs and lights I have on my dedicated 2.4ghz channel haven't had a firmware update in years. They're known for having poor security.
I got a question, I'm getting BT full fiber 300 installed next week, does the router have to be in the same place as the ost and where the white box is ?
You can run a cable form the modem to anywhere, but it should be a wired connection to the router. My house already had Cat5E in the walls so I was able to place it elsewhere.
After watching your video i'm on the phone cancelling my package before it's too late. Not a fan of the router settings and security is a big thing for me considering i stream. Thanks man!
You're welcome. I will say though, I wouldn't let this dictate what you so, as you can simply replace the router and ask to exchange the digital phones for older RJ45 phones (it's a pain to go through the whole process, but it can be done). I'm hoping to get a new router during black Friday.
Err. You can just buy your own router mate. There are multiple ways to integrate another router into the setup and even keep digital voice if you read the BT forums.
Can you make a video showing your settings on the Wi-Fi. Like when you type in the 192. And so on into your address bar. I have the same wifi as you and im only getting 350 - 500 mbps download speed and upload is consistently about 10mbps. Appreciate it, thanks
You asked this on another video too, but I'll post my comments here too as it's related to this video. I don't use the hub as it's poor. I have a few Asus routers. One acts as the main router and the others are nodes. The range on the BT hub is awful. My Asus router is the RT-AX86. It's not the best router from Asus, but it has been a great performer for me. I am keen to change my setup later this year. Bear in mind that the BT Hub is a router, switch and WiFi access point in one. The WiFi access point in the hub is unfortunately poor and the hub doesn't give you much control over settings either. I recommend testing your speed via a wired connection first to see what your max speed is. Be aware that your WiFi speed will also depend on the device which is connecting. For example, your laptop may be quicker than your phone and WiFi 5 devices may be slower. BT use OpenReach so you should get the same speeds if you move to Sky, Vodafone or other OpenReach platforms (assuming the same router is used). Remember, WiFi is going to be different for each device you use and speeds will vary between websites and services too. For example, you could have 500mps download, but Xbox's server may only give you 45mbps.
My Contract BT 900 is ending after two years this month, had no problems but had to buy an UDM Pro and points around the house for coverage. Getting roughly 700 wirelessly on iPhone 14. Thinking of going to someone cheaper as few more ISPs do 900 now, when bought none of them did it.
I'm in the same boat. I replaced the BT router with an Asus gaming router. They've bumped the price from £60 a month to £70+ so considering Vodafone or someone similar who is on openreach.
@@KevinMuldoon yes I went with Vodafone fibre 500 for £30 in the end enough for our house for the price and £120 gift voucher. Looked at onestream and reviews are not looking good.
I had a complaint about the whole installation process as it involved months of false promises and hundreds of phone calls. They completely disregarded it, but the actual internet connection is good.
Hi, like your video on BT's 900 package, I am currently trying to order this where I live in Cornwall and the website tells me that its there but when trying to order it isn't allowing the order to go through, but I can't get any straight answers from BT, do you have a direct number or contact details for open reach when trying to place your order?
Unfortunately, no. BT haven't passed on any telephone or email address for open reach. I've had to go through them. Whole process has been frustrating. I've found BT's staff to be useless, but it would help to speak to someone directly on the phone as the postcode checker isn't always accurate.
I've put it on standby so far as most devices are wired directly around the house, but I'm keen to get a proper router and WiFi access points. I'll definitely share once I get it all sorted.
@@KevinMuldoon I've had so many problems with bt i was getting over 70mps now I barely get 50mps , I live like 5 mins from my local exchange , they still won't up the gain line . Shocking
If you want a more equitable upload and download speed, which is the case for most business users, then get a symmetrical business connection, rather than an asymmetrical consumer connection.
I'm glad to see the problem with the speed tester app because I use the same one & I'm about to move over to BT in 2 days from Sky. Hopefully everything will go nice & smoothly. 🤞
I average about 500 down and 85 up and had issues with the hub, the 1st one was when I was asked to reset the hub which made it worse going down to 40 to 50 upload the download was the same. When I spoke to them thay said it was a common problem which happened to a lot of people which resulted in them sending me a hub but the old version hub which made connection terrible, thay sent a new one when I told them. It’s like banging your head against the wall speaking to them, one person said to me “it’s more then you actually need” another time thay said which happened a few times is “everything looks ok are end there must be a problem with your wires or device”. It just goes back and forth with no problem solved and a complete waste of time on the phone.
So I got the full 900 but whenever I do a speed test, the highest result I've had was 290Mbps down and 95 up but I should be getting a minimum of 450 Mbps to my understanding. Also, that's what BT says as my Stay Fast Guarantee (SFG) . I've given it almost a week but the result is pretty much the same. Whenever I do a speed check on my BT app, it shows that from the cabinet to my house is within SFG but between the router and my devices is where approximately 300 Mbps is showing.
You should definitely be getting better speeds than that if you're using ethernet. Them be significantly slower with WiFi as the hub uses WiFi 5. Plus you'll be limited to what WiFi gen your devices are using.
I'm the same full 900 and only get speeds 250Mbps 50 up and ideas how I can get this sorted numerous phone calls to BT and still getting nowhere. I'm only a month into a 24 contact don't seem to be getting anywhere with phones calls to BT .
@@davidkerr480 so I tried three different powerline kits. Two new versions and a BT version as well but it didn't imitate a plugged connection at all. It depends what kind of electric socket you have on your walls, so that option did not work for me at all and I had to send all three kits back.
Great video - I am with bt 900 but switched my homehub to Netgear Nighthawk AX8 8 i am getting really good wifi speeds of around 650-700 and download speds averaging with ethernet around 121.50 MBps / which is around 965mb... my upload speeds however have been really good now with solid 114mb and never fluctuates with my netgear router, the homehub however for some odd reason kept capping at 50mb every now and then... hopefully you find the right router or mesh kit for you.
I looked at the AX8 briefly, but it was its associated EAX80 Extender that l looked into. That looks super powerful and can be sued with any router. One things for sure, it's better to replace BTs router. I've spent the last few days trying to tidy my office and cable manage etc, but I'll make a decision on the new router soon. I'm hoping it improves speeds.
Thinking of switching to BT Full Fibre 900 soon from Virgin, mainly due to upload speeds. I wouldn't be touching BT with their stock router though. I'm currently running an EdgeRouter Lite with my own Wifi access point for advanced features. There's lots of people on BT forums complaining that there's a firmware bug affecting upload speeds, so it may be worth trying a better router, or seeing if you can force a firmware update (providing one exists for this)
I'm in the process of shopping for a new router as we speak. I was hoping to buy one last month, but I held back as I wanted to see what BT's position was with phones and then factor that into my decision as to what I'm buying. I'm actually looking at the edgerouter 12p right now, but there's a few Mikrotik models I like. I've been looking at alternative solutions such as Pfsense and Untangle too. I need to weigh in POE too as at the moment I might only need a few Poe access points so could just use injectors, but if I start adding cameras too, I might be as well getting a decent Poe switch and place it on my main server. BT's router is useless. You really can't do anything with it except enable and disable a few pointless settings. I'll be sure to show everyone the home network once it's all complete. 👍
Thanks for the suggestion. I've checked out a few of their routers as they're fairly cheap on eBay used. I've swing back towards Mikrotik though as they seem to have more models that fit my rack better.
You're incorrect that outsiders can access your internal network if they access the BT public WIFI- they cannot. The external WIFI is hived off and separate from the internal WIfi.
It's dangerous to think the hub is secure just because they said it is, especially since older routers have been hacked. Every major company has been hacked at one point. My credit card and personal information was lost to hackers via my Sony Playstation account. More recently, Ledger, the largest cryptocurrency security hardware company, was hacked. Now, my email gets cryptocurrency related spam every day. If they can hack into the servers of billion dollar companies, they can break into a cheap router with an open network.
@@KevinMuldoon All of that is supposition and false equivalence. Do you have any evidence to support what you said? Remember you said that external BT WIFI users can access your internal network. Unless you have evidence of that then its nothing more that a guess. Otherwise, great video.
@@KevinMuldoon Whatg I think is irrelevant. you made the claim that external BT Wifi users can access your internal network. *NOTE* you didn't say that they could hack in, you said that they can access. This is incorrect.
They can gain access to my router. That is not good from a security point of view. Feel free to use it yourself, but it's not something I am going to do.
Get tp-link deco it's a game changer, extenders and powerline adapters are no comparison. I've just ordered 300mb deal, can't wait to get a bump from 30mb
My house is wired so I won't need power line adapters. The decos look ok, but I was looking at higher bandwidth solutions. You'll see a big difference going up to 300mb 👍👍👍
The hubs use wi-fi 5, I believe. WiFi 6E is still relatively new and is only starting to get rolled out in routers. Even 6E access points are few and far between.
I remember checking that last year. It still says "Awaiting Building Permission" for my area. I'm on a two year contract with BT and have another 14 months or so to run. I'll definitely be changing afterwards as I really don't like their service.
What I find hilarious about BT is that for a communications company, they are pathetic at being able to reliably communicate with you. What have you done about the router? I have a Draytek on my ADSL connected to a Ubiquiti USG and then to a 16 port Ubiquiti switch which feeds a couple of Ubiquiti AP's and wired ethernet ports round the house. As you pointed out, I did this so I could have separate 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz channels and VLAN off the 2.4Ghz for my IOT devices. I am due to get BT Fibre 900 on 1st Feb and obviously dont want to use the BT supplied router. What did you go with?
I've put the router on hold for now as I'm building a PC and need to pick up a new microphone and some other things. I'm going to get one soon. I was leaning towards Mikrotik as the switch I have is good and they make slightly slimmer routers that will fit into my rack.
I have BT and they are a joke.. So so expensive as well.. Customer service is awful mate.. Was gonna change over to plus net but I found out BT own them as well..
Glad I'm not the only one who is suffering with them 😆😆😆 Yeah they're terrible. No one knows anything. Literally, no one knows anything about their products.
Bt Wi-fi does not give any access to your own network. Total rubbish mate sorry! It's on a different Wi-fi ssid with its own virtual link down your broadband. What's more it is lower priority than your own traffic, so so one walking by can only use all your broadband when you are not. If you are using most of it they will only get slow speeds. So it is secure and it doesn't impact what you have paid for!
If anyone else is using your broadband connection, they are reducing your total bandwidth. Therefore, they are directly impacting what you paid for. Nearly every ISP router has been hacked in the past, which is no surprise given that any hacker who does find a security flaw now knows how to access millions of devices. Even if it's in a separate SSID, offering access to a cheap router is not advisable.
@@KevinMuldoon i think you are missing the point I am trying to make, apologies. If someone walks down the street and starts to use 500mb/s of your connection and you are doing nothing with it then they are not impacting what you have paid for, there is no impact. if you now start to do a 900mb/s download then the bt wifi user doesn't get half the connection still, you get your 900 and they would get anything that's left, so again it doesn't impact what you are doing. In a lot of cases the remote end cant handle the full 900mb/sec. If you are worried about cheap router security then the fact the wifi if turned on at all should be a concern for you as the router is accessible either way over wifi.
I do appreciate it's a useful service for many people, especially if they commute and travel a lot. As someone who works from home and relies on a fast internet connection for many different things (work, nodes, RU-vid etc), I don't want anyone using my internet connection. I should have clarified that I stopped using the BT router for a WiFi about a week after I got it. I switched to using a TP Link access point instead and my wireless speeds instantly doubled. That's not a long term solution though. I'm going to putting about three or four access points around the house. TP Link actually seems decent, but I'm considering Ubiquity and some other solutions.
Its an interesting point though. I dont like it either. The individual has paid for a private Internet connection and the isp has allowed other BT users roaming access onto it. Is there an opt in / out ?
Think ile stick with virgin media, bt want £60 just for the broadbans so then theres the fone on top thats going to be around another £20, with virgin for £100 a month i get 620mbps up 41mbps down, fully unlimted mobile sim card with calls texts an data all included, then i get talk unlimted home phone, an two tv boxs with all the tv channels including netflix an sports an movies, think i would be a fool to give up all that just for bts broadband, plus i know virgins 1gb broadband is coming sometime this year an as im on the top pack it means i get a free upgrade everytime the speed get increased.
Hi David. I have lav mics, but that introduces different problems when moving around. I don't mind lavs for quick videos, but if I'm recording multiple clips it becomes impractical as when I walk around the house I need to remove the mic, clip it back on etc. And if the mic goes in a slightly different position, the audio can sound slightly different. I also have two Shure SM7Bs. That's my favourite microphone, but it does mean you have a huge mic over your face. The one I used here is the Sennheiser MKH 416. It's a £700+ pro mic, but my room setup isn't ideal for it right now. I've just moved into the house and my new office is a bit echoey. I've been looking at getting acoustic panels as a result of this. It could greatly improve things. Alternatively, I could try a different microphone. I have a few on my radar for on top of my camera. A new show gun mic and the rode Wireless Go etc. I don't think the MKH 416 I'd a bad mic though. I think I just need to reduce echos etc. I'm always looking to improve my recording setup so things will get better in time 👍
I can't understand why anyone would let BT near their internet, I have had to talk to BT for years mainly for business and they have always been terrible, I have 900Mbs from Zen, they have a technical people that are in the UK
How is the 900 product from Zen? Fttp is very close to being enabled in my street and I think I'll ditch my sky max fibre and land line and go with zen 900 fttp
@@gwynjones Personally it's worked like a dream, I had one issue about 6 months ago with the ONT dropping connection every 24hrs, which I am 95% was Nothing to do with Zen, since then it's been rock solid with average of 850Mbs down and 119Mbs Up and ping of 2 to 3ms
Oftcom should mandate a tighter band difference from what you pay to what you get , getting half of what you paying for at peak on fttp especially is unacceptable. DSL etc mandate that brown cannot call a package super fast 2 if it’s below 50 mbs instead of say 80 mbs (typically 60) so fibre that is unaffected by signal interfering etc to go from 600 to 450 or 450 to 250 mbs and be ok is just wrong the most I find acceptable would be 30-50 mbs difference no more it’s like buying a car and finding out you have to 3 of the gears unusable 3out of 5 times that’s what lemon laws were made for , this change was not sprung on isps and has been coming ever since the gigabyte rollout to schools and colleges 5 years ago. It was clear this was going to happen so they should be forced to expand if they offer the services
Agreed. ISPs and mobile phone companies get away with murder. They rarely deliver what is promised and customer service is always poor. Yet nothing changes.
Does nobody really care that gigabit uploads are so slow, 100up =100down and 200 and 500 and 900 are all surported upload speeds too. is anybody getting same up and same down as im getting 200mbts down and only 30mbts up.
@@KevinMuldoon after 5 days of waiting i am now getting 200 up and 200 down 24hrs aday, this is what i pay for on cityfibre. if your in a cityfibre area you should be getting 900 down and 900 up no matter what. Only if your going through open reach area then youll get alot less upload. Hope this helps anyone thing of getting fibre please look at your area broadband first.
If you want to pair devices on a certain band, disable the other band, connect all devices you need connected then enable both bands again. It usually works 👍🏻
On a day to day basis, it isn't always practical for me to do that as I wouldn't want the 5ghz band down whilst setting up the 2.4ghz band. I'm sure some people will find it useful.
Alright Kevin, great video. BT have been the worst company I’ve ever dealt with for my internet in the past. The restrictions on the router with regard the wireless setup and all the sharing issues is also something that I’d find to be a big problem. Anyway, the real interesting point for me in your video is the upload speed. Obviously like you, I’d want the best possible as well so I could use higher bit rates etc. for my uploads. Don’t get me wrong, 70Mb/s is great but I’d personally be expecting a lot more than that. That’s probably the biggest sticking point about your service that I can see. The download is just unbelievable and in practical terms there’s nothing that’d come close to touching it, it really is fantastic. But I’d really like to see upload speeds that are more fitting with that awesome download speed. At the moment I’m unable to get anything like a good physical internet connection because I’m living in a block of flats. That said though, and like you’ve had to do before you got your physical connection, I’m using a 4G phone connection for everything. I actually have 2 sims from 3, one for my phone and the other goes into a 4G router. The router is actually really good with its 2.4 and 5GHz wireless and it also has 4 gigabit Ethernet ports. I have a small 5 port switch as well. The obvious problem with using mobile internet, as you well know, is simply the reliability of the speeds. Mine can go really nuts depending on the time of day, obviously due mostly to call traffic at the mast that I’m connected to. My download can be anything from 40 to around 90 Mb/s my latency is around 45ms which is a bit tough for gaming :) but the real surprise is the upload which is usually fairly consistent at around 30Mb/s. To be honest though and seeing as I’m looking at all this from the RU-vidr’s point of view, 30Mb/s for upload is really good for what it is. I get charged £18.50 per sim with unlimited everything. So even if I just look at the unlimited upload speed, £18.50 is ridiculously cheap for the value I get out of it. 3 are supposedly going 5G in my area but they’ve been saying that for over 18 months. As far as I’m concerned 3 are just as full of crap as BT and although I’ve had some slight issues with their service, I’d be a total idiot if I made any complaints about the value of the service. If I eventually get 5G then maybe my uploads will get much better. Although that would require a new router and the 5G ones are very expensive, although I do have a 5G phone and a small box that tethers it to a gigabit switch. Anyway, sod the boring stuff :) Here’s some geeky stuff I think you’ll be interested in. I’ve been experimenting with upscaling to 8K and also staying 10 bit all the way through my workflow for some game stuff. While I’m not sure if the game stuff is actually 10 bit properly although the GPUs do 10 bit, I’ve tried some 10 bit capturing using my Blackmagic card, editing 10 bit and using a 10 bit upload. Here’s an example of something that I’ll put live later today or tomorrow. This also has the advantage of being 8K upscaled. Would mind taking a look and letting me know what you think. Here’s the basic spec for the test. Game maxed out on its settings for 1080/60 GPU set to 10 bit output, although I’m not sure the game graphics are 10 bit for SDR but there does seem to be a benefit. The GPU is captured on another machine using my BMD card and is captured 10 bit totally uncompressed YUV. The captures are edited in a 10 bit project in an 8K project, my NLE uses Lanczos 3 for the upscaling. I then export direct from the timeline to H.265 Main 10 using NVENC, this is a 10 bit file 8K/60 at 400Mb/s but is only 4:2:0 for the chroma sub sampling. Now while I’m not sure that the game to start of with is really 10 bit and despite using 4:2:2 all the way through the workflow and it gets turned 4:2:0 at the end by the final H.265 encode (BTW there is a 4:2:2 option for this but it requires X265 which way too slow) this is the best encoding I’ve ever done for RU-vid. Now I’m always very critical of what I do but I’ve immediately noticed a real difference in the resolution for even just the RU-vid 1080 stream, as you’d expect anyway because it forces the better codec for 1080 but the 4K and 8K streams look ace although I’m only on 4K for monitoring. But the banding, especially in the sky, seems to be massively reduced. I’m actually very shocked at how this looks even on the 1080 stream, considering that the RU-vid streams are 8 Bit 4:2:0 I really didn’t expect to see these benefits to the colour and dynamic range. Anyway Kevin, I’d love to know your opinions on this. Cheers, Dave. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bO0LyZv76hs.html
Good to hear from you Dave. I had the pleasure of chatting to BT for an hour at 8.30 this morning. They called me to ask about the phone issue then I was to three people who had no idea what I was talking about. Literally no one working there knows anything about their products and services. Higher upload speeds would be great. I was getting about 20Mbps with Virgin so I am pleased with the increase, but more would be great for uploads and streaming. For a mobile connection, 30Mbps is amazing. I got less than that with Virgin's top package. 3 are a horrible company to deal with. My wife had to cancel her plan recently as her two year contract had expired. There was no one to talk to and there was only an option to upgrade in her account, not downgrade to sim only. So they charged her the full £47 for another month. Ridiculous. I was impressed with your PubG video. The quality is amazing. I've been trying to upload all my videos in 4K recently so that I get the better codec, but I still upload any videos I record in HD at the same resolution. So are you going to upscale videos from now on? Kevin
Check your speed directly from the router using an ethernet cable to a laptop or PC. That will help you see your max speed. (Note, your max speed can also be higher if you switch from the BT hub to a more powerful router).
@Jo Bloggs lol, these Virgin man always increase your price after your contract unless you haggle with them every time your contract finishes which does become a very boring ass routine
Not for me. After telling me I had to years to use a copper line, they cancelled my copper line in less than a year and advised I could only use digital.
Interesting Video, thanks for your insight. To be honest, and I don't know what your network looks like now, but the BT Smarthub is the fist thing to be ripped out of the network. Becuase they are dogs**t. Cheap old crap with mediocre wifi. You have spent all your time and effort cabling your new network, why not get yourself a Unifi Dream Machine or Dream Machine Pro?
The dream machine pro won't fit into my 4U setup as it's only 15cms deep. So I've been looking at shallower routers from other companies. I agree with you. The BT hub is poor. Poor signal and next to no options.
@@KevinMuldoon agreed the pro isn’t for everyone but the standard dream machine is excellent little box which can do everything it’s bigger brother can. They are quite cheap at the moment. Gives you the option to add another access point if you can get a cat 6 cable to the wap
The dream machine is two years old now and only has 850 Mbps. I have gigabit internet so it would actually slow down my connection a little. The Mikrotik ones I was looking at handle more bandwidth for my network. It's definitely something I need to review.
Sponsored by BT ULTRAFAST ULTRA Reliable Jk 😅 I can only wish to have those speeds, I probably use my own modem aka amplify alien cause all ISP routers suck
BT are a joke. I cannot upgrade my existing line to fibre even tho OR says I can. Been through so much crap from BT. So I ordered a new line to see if they can do that and now they’ve confirmed installed in 2 weeks. So I’ll end up with 2 Broadband’s but I’ll moan after I get fibre. Total joke BT
They're awful. A few weeks ago they invoiced us for two separate internet connections. Despite calling them and being assured it would be resolved, the payment went through. We're constantly dealing with issues like this.
every body whos with bt not getting charged same alot of people getting 3 times faster speed than us and paying less i asked bt about it he said its none of my business so im getting charged more just for upto 30 download speed and 8 upload speed bt are scamming most of their customers dont join bt if you live in uk
My experiences with BT they are totally clueless about any technology. The new routers are not Wi-Fi 6 compatible which has been out for least 2 year.. The BT routers are total rubbish, I strongly recommend you buy Asus or Netgear or a alien wi-fi 6 router, there is a new standard out now which is Wi-Fi 6E which is the proper full standard...
