Thank you for the upload. 👍 and what a wonderful grandson you are , your grandparents are very lucky to have you sort every out for them ❤ I have a dilemma I've moved house , so unfortunately I don't have my old ee plugs and wires so I'm a little confused, It took me ages m9ving boxes etc just to find the telephone socket ( that reminds me , you had an item that plugs into the phone socket , I didn't have 1 of them in the box but got a smart hub1? Something to do with smart calls ? Anyway I'm going back to it and see if I can work it out . Thanks again
@@ashleyjames89 it makes no difference to the speed at all whether the router is plugged into the wall or an extension lead the speeds will be exactly the same
thought id let you know that the master socket pre filtered socket you have shown in this video is no good mate its shit i had one installed in my property for a fair few months had nothing but problems due to its lack of performance had mine changed to a original standard faceplate and the microfilter since all that my broadband has been running pretty fair but yea thought id mention those prefiltered mk4 sockets aint all that great known for causing many issues could of been the main reason why speeds were lacking in the first place
That hub 5 has never failed it's also nicer to look at the new ones are extremely plasticy and will show all the dust like a magnet will drive me nuts ...so I'm about to get an upgrade so god help me 😂..... I begged for an upgrade as my bb had been down over Xmas etc a new hub was also recommended by engineer! But I still had to grovel for it...
I was hoping you would test the ethernet connection because i don't use wifi, btw I'm only getting 3.05 mps to my pc using the same hub, thanks for the info.
Personally at home I use ethernet on all my devices that can, this was at my nans they have everything on WiFi, when I filmed this video I didn't have a laptop with me to test the ethernet but since then I have and the speed is the same
Am just about to subscribe to a two year contract -Fibre 2 , the same plan as yours - Just a quick question is it any good for Gaming ? I only need to play FIFA online but as its FTTC , so am really worried .. Can you please share your feedback for gaming in general ?

I've been onto BT thry never sent me the micro fibre you have there , and now we have a bank holiday weekend , so I've got to wait untill Wednesday 😢 I just want to watch telly on a bigger screen than my mobile phone.
