Hey Yoshi, I subscribed to you after you were on stage at Nats in LA, and this video alone made it worth it! I felt my Machinedramon deck wasn't doing well even with the new support, but this helped me get past a few of the old cards I kept running for some reason. I look forward to seeing how my updated deck does with these new ideas (especially the Matt)
I'm so happy you put out this deck list. I've been testing mine bc I love machinedramon. It's one of my favorite decks and the fact a power rangers uses it too just makes me very happy. I also love the final tamer that's such a good idea I'm Definitely gonna have to try it out.
I started teching in BT7 Metalgreymon and BT14 MetalgreymonACE. I've been enjoying having a level five I can use Supreme Connection to play out for 2 or 1 respectively.
Might I recommend if ya going the Ragnaloard route, to potentially run a few movie Armadillomon promos! Their search not only helps us find duel colours they also have the end of turn jogress so you can just pass turn but then win the game in one fell swoop with enough sources! it's pretty funny.
Hey Yoshi, was wondering if you had a moment to discuss more on your version of machinedramon in discord. I've been playing it for the last 1 and a half straight and want to see any tips on it or maybe misplays or strats i'm not thinking about?
Bt13 Gallantmon can be cheated out when you have no digimon. So how could you hard play machinedramon then go into the gallantmon for its reduced cost ?
You cannot redirect if they are in hand. With how fast the meta is; finding an opportunity to play 1 Analog Man is hard enough, let alone, playing multiple copies.
I agree with this guy. Having multiple copies also increases the odds of finding him early in game and having the opponent hit in security. If by any means anal gets sent to trash (by your own lv 5 search for example) it will be a goodbye for the entire match.
Also even if Matt is a spicy tech, have in mind that he will always be bottom-decked by Haguru's search. With so few tamers in the deck, the EX1 Haguru is way more valuable.
