Jeremys right though they are quite a nice bunch, rest in peace Keith o'dor & will hoy🙏🙏,great to see John Cleland & Steve soper iron out their differences over Silverstone two years before!I've looked at this clip around 100times,all of them are legends, gents&very very gifted racetrack pilots
Those opening clips brought back some memories! loved watching this era of touring cars when i was younger. Would have been great to see them battle it out together aswell as doing hotlaps.
Back when the touring cars looked like road cars, rather than these days when they bear as much resemblance to the road car as I do to Smokin Jo Winkelhock
Haha not really ford just moaned enough and once the splitters and wings were set to the in position they still murdered the competition. Maybe I'm just biased because i own a 155 😂😉
Problem is that sadly in 1993 there wasnt a 850 T5R or R. So in the video its a standard GLT I think. Not even a Turbo or stock sport dampers. Just your dads Volvo
You mean a 854.. yeah sure it has potential, that car would be miles better with the stock sport dampers, swaybars and 16" wheels with bigger tires. The engine is one of the most powerful there with 170 hp
Comments section getting a little confused about the Volvo. There's no such thing as an 855 or 840. This one would of been and 850 2.0 or 2.5 non turbo, its on a L reg so Aug 93 - Jul 94. This the facelift was introduced at the beginning of 94. The turbo versions didn't come out until Aug 94.
I can't understand why they choose the heavier Mazda Xedos instead the better weight/power ratio Mazda 626 GE in the Hatchback trim with the 6 cylinder engine. I have seen some of them racing in Taiwan and they were quicker than the Xedos and the Mazda Lantis.
I think it is because RU-vid has identified it as Copyright material that they restrict some platforms or countries. Sorry if it is not available for you.
Two things: I realize more & more just how much rubbish Jeremy speaks on a consistent basis & just how terrible his fashion sense was & in some sense is. That's why I love Tiff. Not only does Tiff know what he's talking about, he has class. My older brother had the pleasure of working with him for YEARS on Fifth Gear, & the one time I met Tiff, he came across & nothing but a down to earth sort of guy, very polite, knowledgable & truly knows quite a lot about cars & racing. As much as I loved meeting him, I would have loved to meet Vicki Butler Henderson instead 😁
Afghans?? This would be funnier.. i hope this is what you mean.. but if im stating what you allready know im sorry.. but he did say av gas ... ie. Aviation fuel
