Thank you for the video, it's a pity that my father was no longer able to take part in this great race. He must have been watching from heaven. Best regards, Jürg Dürig Jun.
The black Mustang looks like one of the New Zealand Pine Pac Racing cars. Not sure the Pine Pac cars ever had this livery...pretty sure it was one of the Dick Johnson Racing green cars. The JPS livery from memory was only used for two races...the Nissan Mobil races at Wellington and Pukekohe in 1986.
This could be the ex David Huxley car yes ex Pinepac Racing car he had which was sold recently. You are correct the DJR livery was painted on one of his Green’s Tuff Mustangs for Wellington
@@andrewanz72 Thanks for the reply Andrew. Have the Lyons family purchased this car as Michael Lyons was the entered driver. Nice to see a car with a New Zealand history racing in Europe 😎
It is one of the Pine Pac cars, you can tell by the yellow rollcage. The DJR car had a grey or black rollcage in the JPS livery, and green when it was in the Greens-Tuf livery. Another giveaway is the wiper, the DJR cars had what looked like a rear wiper arm while the Pine Pac cars had a standard wiper.
So ive propably seen you there without knowing you were there :D i live right next to hockenheim and im visiting the jim clark revival every year for the past 4 times now. See you next year maybe!
The Audi V8 rubber duck sound is just amazing! Always loved that. I'm missing the good old times when the touring cars were still close to street legal cars.
