While I'm flattered to be called "kid", I feel I have to tell you, that BTS' fandom (ARMY) consists of people of all ages, nationality and genders. I am a 51 yo woman from Denmark. If you dig into more BTS, you will know exactly why it's not your typical boyband and even not typical k-pop. I would love if you would react to Black Swan, pure art both musically, lyrically and then there is their dancing as well. Not to mention the production of the MV. Their lyrics go deep. It's no coincident. They write, compose and produce their own music. I really hope you will look more in to them. ALLWAYS remember the cc and you don't need to worrie about getting blocked, as long as you include the BIG HIT/HYBE intro. Thank you so much for this reaction 🙏 Edit: forgot to mention.... Be sure not to stop the video before it's over. There's usually a little something after it all seems to be over 😄
@@JimGames I wish I am a kid but I passed that stage long time ago. I have been through MJ and boybands era ,but I was never into boyband. BTS are different and once you dig deep you will find how talented and versatile they are individually.
@@JimGames once you dig deeper, you'll have nothing but respect for these boys. Sure, each individual has their own taste music-wise. You'll love it or just say it's not to your taste. But we can't deny that not everyone is open-minded and have their own prejudices when it comes to something new. I salute your open-mindedness! Have a fun ride 🤗
I'm 56 and I love these guys so much. Teen girls love these young me but so do the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's 60's, 70's and 80's and so on. Not just screaming teen girls and guys here.
Im 43 ARMY … i would not define BTS kpop … they have different genres . They are true music artist.. they understand every genre that’s why their fans are so diverse. I love hiphop and indie songs, and truly they can cover these 2 genres really well.
64 yo kid here from California Into Led Zep, Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Who, Queen, Coldplay, Eagles, etc. Even joined Journey tour in Europe and Spain - all legends. So glad I found BTS, the Living Legends that truly impacted my life w their music, lyrics, artistry but most of all their authenticity, sincerity and humility.
BTS covers such a wide range of genres, topics in their songs (mental health, social issues, self-love, etc.) and they have a very diverse fan base, they are definitely not a typical boyband, I'd definitely recommend checking them out more
I'm 62 and you are a "kid" to me. I am glad you finally found BTS, and that you appreciate this song. I encourage you to listen to more of their work. None of their songs are like American music in that there are no half naked women dancing in their videos and their songs are not about personal greed or sex and I appreciate that. While nearly all of their songs are in Korean, you can turn on the subtitles and read along with the song. I love BTS on a human level, they are so humble, talented, and creative. They work hard and I love the music they create. Butter and Dynamite are the only two songs that are in English and are similar upbeat feel good songs. The rest of their discography is diverse, and unique, they are their own genre. I don't understand why so many American reactors to BTS's music make excuses for listening and liking "K Pop", its just a different genre of music and is nothing to be ashamed of. At this point I don't think you can even classify BTS as K Pop they have out grown that label.
I'm a male fan of BTS. I like them and regard them as my favorite idols. I used to dream that I could sing with them on stage together. When I opened my eyes, I cried so hard because it was just a dream that I couldn't do. BTS is an idol that lets many people know what they dream of doing.
What is considered old? 😭 I am 32 and have been a fan of these guys for 5 years now. I went through all my phases with Aaron Carter, BSB, Nsync, Blue, F4 (the taiwanese) but I have never admired a group of artists the way I admire BTS. They just hit it right every single time.
53 yo ARMY here. This is one of two songs they have released in English. The rest are primarily Korean with English sprinkled in. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in this group and everyone gets a chance to shine. They are in their mid- to late twenties. The leader, RM (Kim Namjoon) speaks fluent English, but there are several who are studying a lot to become more proficient (Jungkook, Hoseok, and Yoongi). They also release a lot of songs in Japanese and several members are fluent in that language. They debuted in 2013 and they have stretched beyond the K-pop boundaries and are essentially genre-less now. There are very skilled dancers in the group as well, though they can ALL dance well. This group composes, writes, and produces much of their work. They tackle tough social and political issues in much of their music and the rap line is amazing. There are diss tracks of course, but they do not rap like American rappers. I look forward to your journey, and promise you that you won't be disappointed. Also, these are all men. The Korean style is far advanced from ours and gender norms are very stretched (a good thing!).
I hate the stereotype that BTS fans must be kids or young girls. Yes they do have plenty of young fans (nothing wrong with that) their fanbase is so diverse though with people of all ages, races, nationalities, and genders. I'm 34 and love BTS, started listening to them 2019 and I have no regrets.
Don't say your old because I'm older 😊 I'm a 64 y/o grandma and I love my boys music. Never listened to rap but these wonderful men led me into loving it.
I appreciate you giving the guys a listen. As someone who has enjoyed music all of my 50+ years, I love everything from Josh Groban and Frank Sinatra to Aerosmith and Metallica to Mercy Me and Amy Grant to Mozart and Tchaikovsky. I’ve heard all the boy bands, and even took my niece and her friends to both *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys concerts, and I can assure you that these seven young men are nothing like you’ve ever heard or seen before. Their discography is one of the most diverse I’ve ever experienced. I hope you check out more, but understand if all the music doesn’t align with what you prefer to listen to. I just appreciate you taking a chance and hope that you and your regular followers will stay open and respectful to the possibilities.
55 year ARMY from New Zealand here. Prior to discovering BTS last year I primarily listened to classical music and 80s pop/rock. I never imagined it would be one of their hip hop songs that first captured my attention!!! Nearly a year later I am ARMY for life. Their musical style is so diverse they have opened my eyes to a whole new world of music. You’d be surprised how many rockers, rappers and others have fallen down the rabbit hole. Who they are off-stage is also a huge part of their draw and why their fan base is so enthusiastic and loyal. Also, most of their content is not as lyrically light as their two English-language songs. They are definitely providing intelligent and intellectual music.
@@mydogblowsbubbles a friend posted Daechwita, which led me to Mic Drop. I kept watching little bits and thinking ‘yeah, nah this isn’t me’ but I kept going back and watching a bit more again and again, just fascinated. Then came ON KM, and a news article about the NZ link to Savage Love, and I was hooked.
@@butterbuttersbetter3689 I watched James Corden’s carpool karaoke, and then RU-vid recommended the ON Kinetic Manifesto MV. I then watched a couple of dance practices with their synchronised choreography and that was it! I stuck to their music for quite a while, but then saw they went to New Zealand for season 4 of Bon Voyage, watched that, and am now making my way through Run BTS, the other seasons of BV, and so on. So much content to explore!
@@mydogblowsbubbles I’ve barely touched on their non-musical content. I remember when a couple of weeks after I fell, I saw a reactor watching clips on Bon Voyage and I went ‘OMG that’s NZ’!😆. I’ve still only watched the first 2 episodes of that season though (I’m also a K-drama/C-drama addict, and there are only so many hours in a day🤷♀️😂)
@@butterbuttersbetter3689 so true! If only I didn’t have to work 😂 I’m not usually into variety shows etc but I really enjoy Run BTS. I didn’t watch it in order though, I started with the ones that appealed the most and went from there. BV is pretty good too - there’s something very refreshing about watching global superstars cooking dinner, washing the dishes, and getting snacks for long car rides. Enjoy the rest of the season (when you find enough hours!).
I am a woman in her fifties. Found BTS through my daughter. I am drawn to their energy snd positivity and you haven’t even scratched the surface of what they are about. Please react to Black Swan, On, Faje Love, Singularity, Dis-ease. And read the lyrics. You won’t be disappointed
Hi I was the same as you listening to rock music, found BTS in 2018 never regretted becoming Army, you have just begun your journey, I'm a 54 yr old from Scotland
As a 78 yr old who appreciates music from heavy metal to bluegrass, when I discovered BTS I was hooked I am now a true fan of them. One fact of this video , they are sporting colorful GUCCI sportswear.
And it’s not k-pop.. It’s BTS. They like their own genre. They are MEN. And HE ate butter not She. Please stop thinking that their fans just female kids.
I'm 51 years old. My age is not uncommon for our fan base ARMY. K-Pop is the industry, the Korean version of the American Music Industry. BTS covers all sorts of genres. Please see suggestions below for ideas of what you might like to see in the future.
This is not a good representation of BTS's artistic talent. They write most of their own stuff and it's DEEP. They talk about mental health and have an entire series called "Love Yourself". They love what they do and they do everything for the fans - we're like a team with BTS. They are literally changing the world with their talent, hard work, and good messages - all while breaking race and gender stereotypes. You won't regret listening to more stuff. I would suggest Fake Love, Black Swan, and Mic Drop to start.
I think every song is good representation of BTS talent because they always put there 100 percent on every song and namjoon did contribute to the making of this song 👌🔥
Funny to hear you constantly saying kids. Over 50 percent of BTS fans are over the age of 30. And yes the kids who engage them also tend to love them. Explore more and you will see they cover more genres, most often by blending them, than arguably any artist you might find. And they are huge, prior to Covid playing sold out shows at outdoor stadiums such as the Rose Bowl and Wembley.
No one is too old for BTS. Im 48, started following bts less than a year. Their music is my healing, overcoming anxiety depression. Best to continue listening to fellow Army suggestion💜💜
I’m 45 yrs old..love all of them..they are my happy place..esp my Jimin..if you are saying that you gonna lose subscriber ..I don’t think so coz you do not know the power of us Army..you might be in for a suprised.😉
I'm 54 from Australia and I love bts their message of self love and accepting people no matter colour race gender is something that this world needs more of
BTS is for everyone! They cover lots of genres w/ ease & ARMY is one of the most diverse fandoms. I’m a 36 year old US attorney who grew up in mosh pits listening the MCR, Mindless self indulgence & Reggie & the full effect but I am now a card carrying ARMY member!
68-year-old ARMY in Texas. BTS is part of K-Pop - but they have stepped out of the traditional K-Pop genre. Their constructive messages come from their hearts; the members write, produce, arrange, and sing much of their work. They have communicated with their fans on multiple platforms, and part of their popularity results from those interactions. Their messages connect with listeners and concertgoers of all ages because the topics are timeless and optimistic. We are fortunate to live in this musical era - that of BTS.
I'm a 75 year old ARMY from the US..... BTS has brought so much happiness and hope into my life that cannot be expressed in words. My wish is that these 7 magnificent young men continue to bless us with their music as they continue on their path of greatness. Borahae 💜
I'm a 61 year old from the UK who lost my husband just over a year ago. Recently discovering BTS and its whole "world" has made such a difference - I not only love their music and videos but their shows such as Bon Voyage and In The Soop are fabulous and even make me laugh out loud (thank heavens I can again)! I have their Wembley concert, which it is amazing and showcases their massive talent and natural charisma. They are wonderful guys, who deserve their success...enjoy them! 😊
Wow you finally did BTS~ Great!! not regretting subscribing your channel! Billboard live performance is good as well~ BTS is covering a lot of various genre, next time how about doing reaction to 'ON kinetic manifesto film' of BTS? Please turn on the caption for further BTS reactions their lyrics are amazing. ^^❤
I'm 34 and I've been a rocker since I was 14... And here I am in my thirties loving BTS and being ARMY. Butter is an amazing pop song, but is part of their more light hearted music (which I love). But their deeper songs are what got me to become ARMY. They have amazing lyrics, so meaningful and deep. Poetic lyrics, introspective lyrics, socially conscious lyrics... Along with great music. They use literature too as concepts to develop in their lyrics along with music videos. They are amazing. I'm a passionate ARMY.
Thank you for listening to our boys and giving them a chance. I'm 55 years old now, but I started listening to them in 2013, and has been hooked since then.
Bryan Rolli, FORBES: " Tuesday night, BTS graced the set of MTV Unplugged and presented a starkly different scene: seven men in a room backed by sparse instrumentation, bolstered by their mutual admiration, passion for their craft and desire to connect with their fans. The masterful five-song set reinforced what’s already common knowledge among the ARMY: Strip away the stellar choreography and breathtaking pyrotechnics, and BTS remain seven of the most charismatic and talented singers in pop music.” -
I view "K-Pop" as more of an industry than a Genre. The word "K-Pop" or Korean Pop was initially invented by the West as a blanket label for any popular music coming out of South Korea. That's why we consider Gangnam Style by PSY "K-Pop", for whatever reason. In Korea, they have their own genres of music but just in Korean. Like Rock music or Hip-Hop Music. But In the West, all these genres are mostly still considered "K-Pop", just because it's in Korean. Usually, what most people consider "K-pop", or boy groups and girl groups that sing and dance, is actually called "Idol Music" In Korea. Now with this in mind, I would say that BTS should not be considered "K-Pop". In my opinion, they have something different or unique about them that gives them more depth than any other "K-Pop" group. They have also become too globally successful and big for that industry. I would also say they are still kinda a part of it because they came from it, but they have always strayed from what was the norm in the "K-Pop" industry. A lot of older Koreans don't really respect "Idol Music" because they think it is for Children and is not authentically Korean. Therefore, at the beginning of their career, BTS was not really respected in Korea. Koreans thought that they were just another "Idol Music" group, and the small company they were signed to(and still are) had barely any funds to properly promote them. This small company's (now the biggest[revenue wise]) CEO gave BTS the freedom to express their authentic selves in their art, and that was something, at that time, a lot of groups were not and still aren't able to do. Maybe, watch their MV for Fake Love or Spring Day next, but please remember to turn on the CC to understand what they're singing about.
The k-pop industry is the main issue I have with these bands. The industry is so exploitative. I get people grow up really wanting to be part of bands like this, and I think it's great. however, the industry really does control their lives and I think the artists deserve more freedom and more reward for their efforts.
I am near to crying reading all these comments and just feeling the love for BTS from these "kids" from around the world..I am 60 y/o as well and I absolutely love them..their music is like a breath of fresh air with matching loveable personalities..thank you ARMY!
40... Jk and Nam biased.. But love them all so much They bring us so much love and confidence... BTS ans ARMY are the best things that's happened to me this year.. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
This is what BTS is. They are a group of talented and hardworking man. Their message is very beautiful. They talk about loving yourself, staying true to yourself. Some songs are just feel good songs like this one. They produce most of their songs. Heir music is also very various in styles. To check the other stuff I recommend Black swan, On, Dynamite, Mic Drop, 00:00 o'clock
I am 66 years old and when I discovered BTS last week my binge watching has not stopped. I already know from your later reaction videos that you know you made an understable error. No worries... Welcome to respecting the gift that are BTS, Army and Big Hit Entertainment. Thank you for a job well done.
It's easy to assume when it's a "boy band" Young girls are the fans base. When it comes to BTS that's far from true. I'm a 55 year old Army that listen to BTS daily. Have been to Concerts and watch Run BTS and anything else they're in.😁 Continue to react to BTS and you'll see why. Please react to Airplane 2 music video and On Kenetic Manifesto music video. Enjoyed your reaction.
Thanks for reacting!! Sorry for this long comment. Lol They are very versatile group of young men and do A Lot of different genres. They originally started off as a hip pop group but have group to do all sort of genres. They compose, produce, and/or write their own music. They do bring in other producers every once in a while but they are always involved with everything they put out. They actually talk about a lot of important topics such as; mental health, bullying, regret, follow your dreams, self love, etc. Also almost all songs that sound like they are singing about a lover is them singing to their fans (ARMY- they actually spelled out ARMY during the second rapper’s verse in this song). They are very hardworking, funny, and humble group of men. This is their second all English song. Their first one is Dynamite. So make sure to turn on cc for their MVs. Also their lyrics are amazing!! If you want to get to know the group and what they stand for please react to: -Who is BTS Introduction to BTS by xceleste If you want to get to know each member and their roles in the group: -An introduction to the 7 members of BTS by Ida S If you want to get a really good documentary about how they got together and a summary of their career I recommend: -The most beautiful Moment in Life Goes On by Asian theory Other song recommendations (turn on cc): -Blue and Grey onTvUnplugged (for copyright reasons pause a lot or fade our screen) -Telepathy -Black Swan -On kinetic Manifesto Film -Fake Love -Dionysus (Live performance makes song even better)(I think you will really like this one) -Louder than Bombs -Tiny Desk Home Concert Once again sorry for this long comment and for so many recommendations. Lol
Just letting you know BTS are all men (you called J-Hope at the end a she). BTS debuted in 2013 and are the biggest group in the world. There are 7 members (3 rappers and 4 vocalists) Jin age 28 vocalist, Suga age 28 rapper, J-Hope age 27 rapper, RM age 26 rapper and group leader (and the only member who is fluent in english), Jimin age 25 vocalist, V age 25 vocalist, and Jungkook age 23 vocalist. BTS have had 5 number 1 albums in the US and Butter is BTS 4th number 1 song in the US (it has been number 1 for 4 weeks now). Butter broke many records including the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 108.2 million views breaking BTS own record. It also broke the record for the most viewed video premiere and the most streamed track in the first 24 hours on youtube. BTS have also broken records set by Adele, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson. BTS have won nearly 400 awards including 9 Billboard Music Awards, 6 American Music Awards, and 6 MTV Video Music Awards. They were also nominated and performed at this years Grammy Awards. BTS fanbase called ARMY (which they spelled using their bodies in this music video) is a very diverse fandom of all ages, races, nationalities, and genders (I'm 34 myself). The age demographic spreads pretty evenly until age 50 and even I know many BTS fans older than 50 so please don't stereotype BTS fans as kids. BTS are not your average "boy band". This is how Suga one of the members of BTS describes kpop. “I’m a little careful to talk about K-pop as a genre because I don’t want to be defining Kpop as a genre” “I’m a little bit wary of that but I think rather than approach Kpop as a genre, a better approach would be ‘integrated content.'” “‘K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography…all these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package, that I think sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres so again, as I said, rather than approach K-pop as it’s own genre I think approaching it as this integration of different content would be better.” BTS have over 200 songs in their discography covering genres such as pop, edm, rnb, hiphop, latin, neo-soul, and jazz. And they touch on subjects such as mental health, self love, loss, societal expectations/injustices, economic inequalities, and so much more. They also help write and/or produce most of their songs. The rap line (Suga, RM, and J-Hope) all have over 100 songwriting credits to each of their names and all 3 of them have their own solo mixtapes. BTS were the best selling music artists in the world in 2020 and were named entertainer of the year by Time Magazine. BTS songs are mostly in Korean (hence the k in kpop) with some english mixed in, but BTS also make Japanese songs too. They are very charitable and share a lot of their lives on and offstage with their fans. They were supposed to go on a world tour last year, but was postponed due to the pandemic (I had tickets to see them at Soldier Field in Chicago). BTS are often the target of hateful, racist, xenophobic, and homophobic comments and actions by the general public and western media which is a shame because they don't deserve any of the hate they get. BTS came from a small and almost bankrupt company in South Korea, during their early years all 7 of them had to share a bedroom. Now that same company is worth billions because of BTS success and they are also now part owners of the label too. Thanks for checking out Butter, but I hope you will listen to more BTS to discover how versatile they are sonically and lyrically. If you want to know more about BTS there plenty of videos that talk about their career so far and about who each member is and their background.
well i do know that this guy is an idiot he called J hope she. But he did not say a word about Jimin the one who most idiots call hey girl this guy watched a guy guide on BabyMetal that describes them as a J Pop Idol group. But he had no I idea what language BTS was singing when there a K pop group. might figure out J pop = Japanese then obviously K pop = Korean.
53 year old teacher here. I discovered them about 6 and a half years ago and they have changed my life. Music is to be enjoyed without restraints put on the listener.
To be honest the constent "kid references" were starting to grate on my 56 year old self! This is one if their lighter feel good songs, and NO you haven't got the hype at all, they are lyrical geniuses, and they cover a variety of genre's. Many of their songs tackle issues such as mental health & bullying. And if you saw my play list, it has quite a lot of metal, Hip Hop & Hard Rock and I love these guys, so talented, with 4 vocalists & 3 rappers, two which came from the Korean underground rap scene, they are killing it. Further they primarily write & produce their own songs. Some songs that show their diversity are: (you will need to turn on Captions as most songs are in Korean & English) Mic Drop with Steve Aoki On Kinetic Manifesto Not Today Idol feat Nicki Minaj Dope Fire Danger Black Swan Fake Love Blood Sweat & Tears Save Me Airplane pt 2 Suga's Shadow and his alter ego Agust D Daewitcha & Agust D RM Joke, Mono & Persona For R&B V's Singularity, also Stigma (live) And to see where they started as a Hip Hop group, No More Dreams & We are Bulletproof pt 2
I'm 44 year old ARMY. BTS is amazing and they cover so many genres. They are amazing and for all ages whether your male or female. Best music to vibe to in the world.
I am 31 y/o career woman..i found bts in my mids 20..they are literally like my younger siblings.at first I attracted to their choreography because i cannot dance (not that other group cannot dance) but their dancing couples with their song are awesome..then im down the rabbit hole..being bts fan in their early days is kind of hard as they received so much hate and another group’s fandom coming with tons of hate comments.. its kind of toxic in their early days but i am glad i stick with them until now..i just worried that they are now too popular and when the pandemic over and they resume their concert, it will be a WAR getting the tickets p/s : i hope to see you react on their Korean songs because you will notice that they cover lots of different genres
I'm just listening to your opening remarks. I have become hardcore BTS ARMY. 74 years old here. The quality of BTS's art, and the variety of genres they touch, even sometimes several in the same track, means they're never boring, and they're always top notch. Also, because choreography is part of the art form they are exhibiting, every single track they have ever recorded is danceable. As someone who danced a lot when she was young, this is a big plus. The depth of their lyrics is sometimes shocking. The rap is super. The vocals are super. I've never heard a group or solo track from BTS that I haven't loved. And I have listened to their entire discography probably about 60 times by now. Prior to finding BTS, I liked a wide range of music. Classical, jazz, rock, pop, hip-hop, EDM, world. BTS covers the whole spectrum. They're probably just about 10 years younger than you, so they're not kids. And the majority of their audience is not kids either. While they grew from K-pop, which is a performance style, not a musical genre, their genre is BTS. I'd be interested to see you react to some of their older work, which is mostly song in Korean with a bit of English, or Japanese with a bit of English.
Thank you for being respectful and open to this. It's ok if it's not your type of music and I appreciate that you weren't ignorant/making rude remarks. I can see from your reaction that you are a nice person. Keep up the good work.
2 things for sure.. 1.Your subscriber will increase definitely!! 2.and U not gonna disappointed listening to them.. Hi.. Tq for listening and jamming to BTS.. 34 y/o mom of my kids from Malaysia here.. Please reacting and enjoying to BTS more!!!
Bts do all kinds off genres, the are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist and all dance. The write and produced there music. the have 4 nr 1 song at Billboard 100 this song Butter is nr 1 for 7 weeks now, this is just a fun happt song to cheer us Armys/fandome up during pandemic. Bts songs have deep message, the write about Menthal health, society, cyber bulling, haters, depression, injustices
It's refreshingly honest that you're talking about getting into boybands later in life. You know the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Star Trek, young girls caught onto them first and grown men dismissed them because "they're for teenage girls." But then they all came to have largely male fanbases that gatekeep young women out. Teenage girls are taste-makers and give it 30 years and we'll seen grown men saying "whatever you girls are listening to now, they're nothing like the classic art of BTS..." -_- Anyway, I'm not a teenage girl but the point still stands. Luckily, BTS has always worn their presence in our fandom as a badge of honor and we do too. I have always had eclectic music tastes. I like top 40 but my playlists bounced between 70s-80s heavy metal (Rush, The Scorpions, Malmsteen), Michael Buble, The Script, Ke$ha...so BTS' incredibly diverse discography really fit in well. I get it all with them. It's kind of a hidden gem but every metal head should check out the DNA Pedal to LA Remix (official). It's a heavy metal remix of their hit DNA. I personally prefer it but I'll take an electric guitar solo any day. Anyway, Butter is pop and it's one of only 2 (soon to be 3) all English songs they have as a group (though some of the members have solo songs or features in English). So don't listen to Butter and think this is what they do. It is...put it's really just a small part of it. Subscribing and hoping for more!
I came back here to watch your reaction to Butter after watching your reaction video to This is BTS. What a big difference in your perception of BTS. By now you already know how diversed BTS' fans are with age from little kids to 90 something years old. I'm 61 diehard BTS ARMY.
I'm a 32 year old doctor 🩺 not a kid anymore, and I used to predominantly listen to rock... But yeah Army has many young members now, but most of us are very much grown adults, students, parents, etc.
Aaah! Tysm for reacting to Our BTS and their fun track “BUTTER”! btw ~ media calls it the genre of kpop,… WE say, “The Genre IS BTS!” 😉😎 Enjoy the ride! Also, our demographics range from baby to senior adults,… of all gender identities!😉😎
Beyond all things... I noticed yur smile increasing when V appears on screen... I think yu also impressed by V's visual.... Indeed he is the World Most Handsome man In The world 😉
44 y/o die-hard ARMY from NZ here; BTS has been my religion for 2 years. I subscribed because I like the way you talk about our boys and the respect you show them. Welcome to the ARMY fandom and I look forward to following you on your journey down the rabbit hole 🕳💜
Most BTS fans are way over 20 years old. I'm 31 and a researcher with PhD. BTS fandom spans all ages, genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations and professions!
Welcome! You have just watched the hardest working young men in the music industry. You probably think I'm exaggerating when I say this but It's true. BTS write and produce most of their music/sound. Not all but a majority. Butter is like; Michael Jackson, Chris Brown & Bruno Marz had a baby, it would be named Butter. It's a great summer, drive song. Just Get in your car and roll down those windows and enjoy! Check out their other Genres'. AMAZING!
I'm a 31 year old medical doctor from Malaysia. I've been an ARMY for more than 5 years. They helped me out of my mental slums, I kid you not I probably won't be here typing this comment now if it weren't for them. Btw it's 2021. The "only screaming teenage girls" like "boy bands like them" is a very outdated and restrictive narrow-minded stereotype, mostly had by ppl who haven't even given a listen, and know not a speck of dust about the band, their music and their message. They're not "typical boybands". The fans are not all "kids/screaming younger generations". Also, there's really nothing wrong with being young and passionate abt a music group??
37 and love them so much. Zero o'clock and truth untold helped me through depression, ON gives me courage, Life goes on helps me accepts my reality, Rm's Forever Rain feeds my soul, Suga's daechwita gives me the Ugh! V'S singularity helps me appreciate myself more, Jimin's Serendipity taught me to love effortlessly and unconditionally, Jin's epiphany taught me to love myself first, Jungkook's Euphoria is just heaven, Jhope's Mama creates forgotten memories of my deceased mom. And Mic drop for haters! We are not kids lol. We just love their lyrics and music.
Kpop is not music for kids, it's for everyone. "Kids" just usually are more open to new and different things. So I guess i'd rather stay a kid than be closed minded adult.
I'm 21 and I love bts I've been an army since I'm 13 years it's almost 10 years, they came in my life when I needed them the most and the helped a lot of us army's and saved a lot of us too
I'm the baby in my group of ARMY friends at 40 (our oldest member is 62), and am glad that we have the resources to be able to travel internationally pre-Covid for concerts, photo exhibitions, art installations, etc. Don't worry about losing subscribers - ARMY will not force you to like what you don't, although we will try hard to change your mind! What we look for is just someone who is genuine with their reactions, and willing to learn more before passing judgement. Wishing you well on your journey of discovery, which I hope you will choose to travel.
I'm ARMY... 41 and an US Army Veteran. We are all types. :) BTS has over 250 songs in damn near every genre. Dynamite and Butter are their only full English songs that are their own tracks (they've featured on all English tracks of other artists), but most of their Korean songs also have English words/phrases. Their lyrics are beautiful and deep... unlike most pop these days. And no... this isn't really K-Pop... BTS is their own genre. They've been around since 2013 and debuted as a hip-hop group. You should check out Fake Love and Black Swan.
