This song is about the pandemic. They wanted to make it real and personal. The MV was directed by the youngest member, Jungkook, and many of the scenes were filmed in their actual apartment. The bedroom scene is in Jimin and J-Hope's bedroom.
It is sooo meanigful because they did not choose to make another hype and popular song like Dynamite but a song and mv made by the 7 member themselves, telling what they want to say right now and comforting people. Especially, the fact that JK is not a professional Director at all but directed this mv means a lot.
This is the first BTS video you launch that they didn't have any choreography in it ? You watch Spring Day it didn't have any choreography in it either ! You really need to pay more attention to the meaning of their songs and music videos, you were rocking and jamming out to spring day when just listening to and watching it you could tell it was a somber sad song anyway I could the first time I watched it. Spring day was about a ship sinking that killed over 200 high schools students ! Do you were rocking in German out on this one and it is about the global coronavirus pandemic. I guess when an explanation to this video is made you gonna need to watch it also. There is a lot of visual symbolism about the current global situation. Hell the first minute of the video V driving the car with his mask on which he takes off. Jungkook staring out the window because he cannot go anywhere because of stay at home orders ! The first 2 lines that Jungkook sings ""one day the world stopped."" ""without any warning."" Another interesting point this is the title track, first song released from the new album "BE" The entire album is dedicated to the global virus pandemic, and all 7 members had a personal part in the production of this album, more than previous albums. Jungkook directed and filmed this Music video and V was an assistant videographer.
