The truth untold is based on La Citta di Smeraldo. It's the story of a man who lived in a castle and kept to himself because he thought himself to be ugly. One day a woman came near his castle and picked his flowers. He was angry at first but eventually became curious and waited for her. He found out that she was actually selling those flowers for a living. The man fell in love but didn't want to show himself because he was 'too ugly' (you know that I can't show you me, give you me... and also your reaction on 9:09). So he decided to plant a flower that didn't exist on the planet so she could sell it at an expensive price. Eventually he managed to fill his garden with them but the woman stopped coming. He then learned that she died. That part where they sing 'but I still want you' is about him regretting not telling her his feelings all because he didn't love himself first. It fits so well with the 'love yourself' concept.

This song is based basically on what it means to love yourself. A guy that is cursed with “ugliness” hides inside his castle, his garden is filled with bloomed flowers. A girl comes there and picks flowers, the guy falls in love everyday when he sees her, but the guy never shows himself because he thinks he is ugly. One day he bloomed the most unrealistic rare flower for her to come get it and see it, but she never came because she died. That’s the time he realized he fucked up, just because of him NOT LOVING HIMSELF he could’nt love other people enough. The girl came many times there but she never knew the owner cause he was hiding. So basically if he loved himself he would have met with her and things would go better and she would not probably die. Message: you can’t love others before loving urself first Edit: even if he ugly and she died he still wants her “but I still want you”

Song is based on a true story way back in the 1500's-1600's it takes place in a small town in Italy The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden. One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell a sleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter. Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to make the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came to his garden. This song is written from a Greek ancient story. In which there is a guy who lives in the castle and he thinks he is ugly so he doesn't show his face to the world. One day a beautiful lady comes to his garden and plucks flowers from there. So the guy gets angry and sends some of his men to look for the woman, after the research they find out that she sells those flowers for a living. Then man from the castle eventually falls in love with her but because he thinks he is ugly so he doesn't show his face to her, thinking she will hate him. So for her happiness he plants some exotic flower bearing plants. But one day that lady stops coming so he again searches about her and he finds out that she had passed away because of a disease, she was selling those flowers to cure her disease. After he finds out he becomes depressed and he carves "I still want you" On the walls of his castle untill he dies.

I know it's a really old video but I was still rumored to explain the essence of the song: The song is about a guy who thought he was ugly when he was walking in the street people would look at him with a strange and disgusting look and slowly his confidence was lost and his self-hatred came and that is why he decided to hide in the castle. The guy really liked to grow flowers in the castle garden especially roses he loved their beauty his no and took care of the same flowers every day. One night the guy peeked out of the castle window and saw a girl picking his flowers the same guy was angry at her for stealing his flowers but after watching it for a long time night after night he fell in love with her. The guy wanted to find out what that girl was doing with the flowers she was picking so he put on a mask and went to the village where he saw the same girl selling his flowers for a living that girl was poor. The same guy decided to grow a flower of a special kind that the girl could pick and sell it with money so that she would not be poorer and he succeeded after a while he grew a flower of a rare kind he waited for the girl night after night but she did not come. The guy wanted to check why that girl did not come so he put the mask on again and went out to the village and when he arrived he found out that girl was dead and too late. The line "But I still want you" talks about the girl who died but the same guy is still in love with her and about that Dawn talks he talks about self ahha and for us to be able to love other people we have to start loving ourselves. From this song they started writing and creating the album that today has "self-love"
