I like Butter and BTS. Also their live performance on The Grammy's was/is on a whole different level. It is sad that people are still looking down on them. It doesn't matter. it's a strategy from the very beginning. even if BTS deserved to be nominated for more than one of the major awards... what they did was tie/lump BTS into that ambiguous category for top duo/group performance.. where despite "performance" so freaking clear in the award name, they already have prepared lots of 'criteria' where they can like 'justify' on where or how BTS does not meet this or that, or can't score more than the other nominees. which they also did just the previous year. the organizers just got a bit wiser this time... releasing the seat plan with BTS up front and center, the mostly purple theme, etc.... making them perform near the beginning.. but still the same thing, they made sure our boys don't win the award. they just wanted the ratings from ARMY viewers. And why can't they just make two separate awards for Top Duo Performance and Top Group Performance?!! so it's clear that the collabs are different from artists who are actually a group. no ambiguity. the host even joked about saying something like "...to all those who don't win - - it doesn't matter. in the end, it's all about the money... like the award/trophy doesn't pay for your house..." what very very poor taste for a 'joke' and choice of words... an insult to all non-winners. the recording academy once again, just proved that they are truly Scammys. others may say, but BTS still gained a lot for being nominated and for performing there, even if they didn't win. well all that's a given for all of the artists there. However, the point is, BTS actually deserved to win.

I don’t think it is a glass ceiling; I just think that too many people in America don’t know who they are yet. But they found out last night!! I assume the awards shows we watch from Asia tend to favor Asian groups/singers, and the ones here will favor American groups/singers. And I also know the power of BTS. The more people know them, the more will love them, and they will start taking home awards from here too. They are too good, too powerful, BTS is the real revolution!
