Well at first they were pretty famous as rookies of the year then people started hating them saying they r copying other groups they can't sing...etc & u know how BIGHIT was poor so a lot of problems &they started fading but they came back stronger & now they r artists of the century
I'm amazed at the big crowd. How did you guys know about BTS even from way back then? lol I'm jealous. Took me almost 6 years later to even notice them. Now I'm digging up all the vids from the past to get to know from the start
Frs. When you join only to find out that one of the members is gonna leave soon. Damn wish i was army from the start Edit:Jin has 2 more years with us YUHhh
@@tinistoessel8614 Jin was gonna go to the military, but like a couple days b4, South Korea passed a new law basically allowing him to stay 2 more years😭😭😭yuuuuusssss
I met BTS when they were filming for AHL. It was incredibly brief and wasn't aired by Hobi and Jimin came into the cafe I was working at and bought a bottle of water. I greeted them and said "HI JIMIN' and the expression on his face seemed surprised. Then when they left I waved them goodbye and and Jimin smiled.
Natasha Zaki YESS THEYRE WEARING THE SAME CLOTHES. EXCEPT FOR JIMIN THOUGH. I THINK HE CHANGED OR SOMETHING. BUT J-HOPE HAS THE SAME SHIRT ON AND SO DOES RAP MONSTER
+Aj Summer hahaha. Me I dont know why I really love Jhope. He makes me smile whenever I saw him smiling. He captured me with his dance and smile.. kyaaaahhh😁😁😁ㅋㅋㅋ
I know, I have to grab a saenge *how ever u spell it* and tell her, we get it you love them, I do too. But they are real people, respect that, they have emotions and feelings. And she tweeted me saying she helped other people respect them.
If this happened today with all the new fame they have acquired, girls would lick the street where they walked and jump at their necks.. Good luck to them when Covid is over. Their fandom has trippled size since then 😅😅
The girl in wheelchair...I like her determination despite immobile and the friend pushing her, she is the one who will go through thick and thin with you.
Just to clear confusions: this video was from two years ago. This was their first time in LA filming for ahl. They didnt announced their arrival but fans found out anyways so they were surprised by this response of so many fans at the airport. The staff were panicking bcs they didnt hav bodyguards (since they think nobody cares abt bts coming). They didnt even think they were famous then lol so dont say they were selfish or not responsive to fans. They obviously surprised, nervous n jimin looked kinda scared lmao. But they all still smiled tho. They just didnt expected this to happen. Chubby manager (idk his name) was like "ottohke? Ottohke?" But im glad sejin hyung (my fave manager 😊) took care of them wisely. AND no fans actually hurting them, thats wats important.
I had no idea they were already so famous in the U.S. back then. That's awesome! Yeah, they all looked really surprised. The fans were pretty good, though. I imagine the manager was panicking when he saw the crowd. Glad it went well.
During this time (2014), they were more popular internationally than in korea itself. They just gained more popularity now in korea lol. Jhope once said, they were recognized in the US while theyre walking on the street, but not in korea.
Omg I just realised how obsessed I am. Oh god. I just watched a full 9 minute video of them arriving in an airport. Oh dear oh dear I love it too much. Back to homework I guess. Cry with me.
Can I just say, this is the most behaved ARMYs I've seen? (Apart from the J-ARMYs) They don't even have security but they're not mobbing the boys, they're not doing anything weird and they're so sweet for throwing out Korean words like Saranghaeyo or Jalsengyeotta. If you were part of this crowd and you're reading this, you guys are QUEENS 💜💜💜
So amazed by this video! A lot of jhope fans ever since! Mostly i hear are screams for jhope. And look at how guarded Jhope was. Like literally the members Just surrounded him. The sun is truly the center of the system!!! You’ll always be famous Jung Hoseok ❤
Pinkamon they probably lost in a game of rock paper scissors during landing 😜 just kidding, i know they can be the sweetest and most helpfull among our boys🥰
In the kpop world these fans were actually very well behaved. They stopped putting things in front of them to get signed when the managers lightly pushed them away and they actually listened which is rare lol...compared to other times in other countries, this was tame
I felt they were to young for me but noticed J-HOPE immediately . His stage presence is freaken out is this world . 2018 with his mix is when I felt ok they are young men now . And he just got and continues to get better in every freaken aspect !! Wow !!!🔥🔥🔥❤️🇺🇸🤘🏼
I live watching BTS live and army st award shows and concerts but I only listen to the rap line . J-HOPE is the one I listen to daily . I have been saying for years JHOPE just go solo to grow . I personally feel it was obvious . Lol got a lot of crap from haters but I can see it !!!
Well they are enormously talented. But, there's a problem. In Korea, young people submitting to.......and what happens to young girls?? I don't want to KNOW.
I know everyone wants to meet them and when they do they'd scream and stuff but I felt so awkward watching this XD I don't know why I was cringing everytime they screamed their names or said oppa 😂😂
Awww this feels so nostalgic. This is when they came to film American Hustle. Back in 2014 where they had no security and had to push their own luggage. How times have changed now. Boys worked so hard. Only thing I find uncomfortable is seeing the chubby manager. He does look like a bastard I’m glad he is no longer around the boys. Jungkook looks so shy and intimidated here too.
@@aliyah100 watch the vid 'fired manager' and you will know more. He didn't have a reason! And even if he did that is still no reason to raise your hand against a kind/youngher person!! (Srr bad eng)
This here is an historical moment captured. 7 years later they are Artist of The Year in American Music Awards 2021. In 8 years (2022) Grammy winners for sure.
They are not that much level to win grammys, remember 2021 grammy was not for them, and in 2022 also they won't get, artists who are more talented than them are still in line😏 Well let your hope for your artists remain still
@@melodystream2232 well, if they don’t win it that’s ok. It is just another American music award. One more one less there’s no difference at this point.
@@melodystream2232 Well the whole world knows how grammys sucks even some singers themselves admitted that the Grammy is all about being friends with the right people + !! Having a grammy doesn’t mean you are a Good artist !! Lot of Great And Popular Artists have never been even nominated and I don’t personally think that BTS needs a grammy to Proof how talented they are
Now is so different. They are global superstars not even themselves can imagine. Its because of their hardwork, passion and love in what they are doing and dedicate their talents to. More power BTS.
ya really i was like dang they pusing their own. and also they signing albums. they cant even do that now. fans back then were very lucky. nowdays not safe for them sadly
Wow! I only knew about BTS this year in April. I've heard their story and was amazed to see this video 9 years ago. They were famous already! Back in the days when they didn't have body guard yet, fans are crowding at the airport and being so close to the crowd.
Seino Parker Jhope was hardly popular in Korea back then that's why. For some reason Hobi was disliked in Korea. I was so happy to see love for Hobi here even back in 2014
at 2:12 I heard someone screaming Namjoon oppa... OMG ! My heart flustered... He really don't believe if he had armys for him... But the truth is he had many armys. We always luv you BTS
It's sad to say that even if these fans look like a wild mess, they're better than how most fans would treat their idols. Like have y'all seen EXO at an airport arrival? I'm just glad they got there safely and no one got hurt.
getting it as a yt recommendation after 8 years...now the boys is ruling over usa....these boys came so far and i wanted them to be more successfull....💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Wow hi im from 2019😊 looking at them in 2014 vs 2019 WOW.. all the bts member have grown up and become the worldwide artists😭 im so proud of them😭 in 2019.. they even sold out their tickets in Wembley Stadium in just 90 minutes and achieve a lot of awards and worldwide records😭💜 bts that always get criticise from people and was from a small company turn into the most famous artists around the world! *THANK YOU ARMY THAT STAN THEM SINCE THE FIRST TIME YOU MEET THEM AND GIVE THEM SUPPORT.. THANK YOU ARMY FOR ALWAYS BE THERE WITH BTS.. BORAHAE😭💜*
I'm so overwhelmed. I envy and also respect all of you who supported and loved BTS from the beginning. It took me a quarantine and a depression to finally get over my shallow preconceived idea about kpop and BTS. Bts really changed me. And my only regret is not to stan them from begining.
this discussion is rather old but if I would meet them (not that that would ever happen HAHA *internally crying*) I would be able to see over Chim Chim's head. I'm taller than everyone of them xD
I'm Korean and I'm surprised at how many people here are offended that the fans were calling BTS "oppas." I thought it was slightly inappropriate since they aren't close with BTS and don't know them personally but you guys really over-exaggerated and made something really small into such a big deal. And funnily enough, most if not all, of the people complaining about this are not even Korean.
Oh God! Jimin is so beautiful. 19 years old and he looked like 15. He is shy, just like Michael Jackson was and that makes him even more attractive and tempting. Jimin is irresistible to any audience, not just 11-year-old girls.
Wow, the hate on this video is pretty bad. Im preeeeeetty sure BTS loves their fans regardless of whether they're being called 'oppa' or not. Even Jungkook, who used to be very irritated by it isn't as bothered by it anymore. Int. BTS fans are allowed to love their idols just as much as national fans are. You don't get dibs on who loves them more or less -that's not how that works? Also, the boys passed through safely here. It wasn't as though they were being touched and grabbed or anything, in fact they were treated relatively nicely given how excited the fans were. Some idols are treated much, much worse. Telling your idols that you love them in their language isn't disrespectful, cringey I can understand but it's not disrespectful. Korean fans even yell 'oppa' and no, you don't get dibs just because you're Korean. Korean fans don't know the idols any more or less than international fans do lol, you're just as much strangers as those people in the airport are. For the people that are like "why are they crowding?", "give them space" -of course you SHOULD do that but its easy to sit and critique other people on how to act when you're not there. Most of you that have never even seen the boys up close would probably react just as crazily as the people here did, maybe even worse. Don't hate just because these fans got a chance to see their idols and show some love.
Truth. Ive never met them. Just became army about month ago. Ive met seveal celebs in past. Freaking out is never a good thing. In fact I've met backstreet boys 3 times amd some of them more. Never freak out just be calm.. They are normal ppl just like everyone else who just happens to be really famous. Granted im like omg after but in an airport after they just got off plane have some respect and give them space. Its the right thing to do. And heaven forbid they arent wanting to be bothered..need to respect the boundries. Im sure it gives them anxiety everytime they in airport.
They seem so uncomfortable, it makes me so sad that they have no regard for personal space or privacy. Shoving a camera in anyone's face is just rude. :c
What a humble begining for all of them. There were no body guards only their managers, no reporters and they even had to push their own luggage bags and everyone crammed into 1 van...I guess that's what propelled them to work even harder.
You must be extremely biased because I saw all ot7 being very friendly at various times and in various ways and many times Tae wasn’t visable here because he was behind other ppl so you overlooked our members just to watch him.
@@LMBOatU I mean they are all friendly, but judging from the video, TaeTae is the most friendly in here. Didn’t you notice in the video, it was Taetae who initiated welcoming the Army on the wheelchair to sign her album? I think that was really sweet and further portrayed how Taehyung really is so attentive towards Armys. Other BTS members would’ve followed the rule to not sign anything from the fans (of course there’s nothing wrong with the members following that rule), but as always, because Taehyung has such a pure heart, he disregarded this and signed her album anyway. That was really sweet and nice of him. There’s nothing wrong with saying this member is more friendly, more handsome etc. It’s not like that is an implication that other members are not. So please can you stop that? It’s like people can’t help to be offended by any little thing anymore.
***** i was talking about people in thé airport.. I actually kinda can make thé différence between koreans and japanese and Chinese people.. I guess it has to do with thé fact that i stan kpop and let's face it.. Watching kpop is what i do 24/7
I discovered them in 2018 and all time I see these kind of ancient videos I'm like "Why haven't I interest myself in BTS earlier when I was watching kdramas and all ??"
