It is becoming a much bigger challenge for people receiving government benefits who could not work at all including permanently. The number one expense everybody must secure and not mess with is housing. Housing is a must including living in an apartment. That is my main focus now to keep a place for me to live in and not miss one rent payment. So far almost 4 years living in an apartment and not one payment missed. I only buy what is absolutely necessary and third-party brands only and buy from thrift stores and local grocery stores. I use public transit so no problem with transportation. The type of people like me who were called penny pinchers are now the new normal.
