Melanie Lynskey has a great American accent, never would’ve guessed she was a Kiwi. The young version of the girls mostly all do a great job of mimicking their older versions voice, especially the young Nat (sorry don’t know the actresses name).

Yeah. Most would think Misty for this, but she is predictable, given her reputation. Shauna, on the other hand, is more reserved, therefore more dangerous.

This is the best casting for younger to older on the show, they really look and sound like they could ne the same person in different ages...and how did I not know melanie lynsky wasnt american? She is so good with her accent, I have never seen her in anything where she didnt have her american accent, I had no clue, she totally christian baled me..

Of all the past and future acting duos on this show, Shauna is easily the best. The mannerisms, facial expressions and vocal tone are impeccable. Both of these incredibly talented actors deserve all the awards for this series.

Shauna’s my def favorite character. She really embodies the whole, “it’s always the quiet ones” archetype in regard to seeming sweet but becoming ruthless when needed. Her relationship with Jackie seems to be a big part of why. And, this being totally unrelated, Sophie Nelisse is super hot lol.

One tiny detail that I love is that, if two Yellowjacket actresses playing the same character have different eye colors, one of them wears colored lenses. Like here, for example: Shauna has brown eyes, so while Lynskey doesn't have to do anything, Nelisse wears contacts to make her gray eyes brown. It's such a small thing, but it always irked me in shows and movies when the younger/older version of the same person had different colored eyes than what was previously established. Even though I understand that some people can't work with lenses, or are even allergic to them, I love that 'Yellowjackets' made the extra effort to truly convince us that we're watching the younger and older versions of the same cast.

I thought Dexter was awful the first few episodes. It’s been on a roll since tho, Mr. Crabs is a good villain (as he usually is). I like how they pointed out old (young) Dexter would’ve sniffed him out and killed him easily if it were back in the Miami days.

If Jackie is alive there's only one person I can think of to play her older version but I'm not sure that they'll be able to get her, and thats Mila Kunis. She has the range and she's around the age bracket of the future characters, also she's a dead ringer for Ella Purnell. So hopefully she can be in this.

Not a fan of Shauna. Misty is a sociopath but everybody knows that, Shauna on the other hand keeps doing questionable stuff but instead of owning it she does her best to weasle out of consequences and still has the balls to constantly lecture others.

Misty is pretty manipulative though and she destroyed the black box / Flight recorder of the plane as for the first time in her life she felt important. But she's the reason they are all stuck and weren't rescued!

Shauna is incredibly manipulative. I actually am of the opinion that it’s overlooked by many viewers what Shauna was already capable of doing before the plane accident even occurred. She was very envious of Jackie. What the girls “crucified” Jackie for doing in the midst of survival is what Shauna did before they were even in the wilderness. I think Shauna is really the mean girl that she projected on to Jackie..

What happened in the season finale with Jackie probably had a lot to do with how much she changed. Hopefully the next few seasons will see younger her becoming closer to who she is as an adult cause I just don’t see younger Shauna doing what older her did to Adam but that might just be character development that’s still left to be seen in the future
