Let's see with what I have read and understood from the video is about a fallen Angel / Demon who is Tae / V ,who had his wings cut off for defying the heavens,he tries to cajole (Catch) everyone but Jin ,As we see Jungkook gradually begins to fall before the temptation,while RM has already done so , Suga on the other hand has already seen the evil and darkness of Tae/V and wants to protect Jimin who already has the forbidden fruit in his hands (The apple in his hands) this reminds me of Adam and Eve ,Putting the blindfolds on him Then Jimin has a struggle he does not know how to decide whether to follow his desire or or close his eyes as Suga has already told him. It could be said that those who already belong or are about to stay are: RM,Jungkook and Suga , in their attempt to keep Jimin away from evil and that those who still maintain more or less their innocence and humanity are Jimin and J-hope the latter is the only one who has not been tempted at any time and is the only one Lucid so to speak that is why we see that he tries to kill Tae/V shooting him an arrow but fails as he jumps off the balcony as we saw in the MV then we see that Tae/V turns back as if he was waiting for something or saw something that caught his attention he just smiled and jumped. Finally there is Jin who sees how everyone is being dragged by the darkness we can observe how he feels helpless for not being able to do anything to help them ,then we see how Tae/V covers his eyes ,then Tae offers him a deal in which if Jin sacrifices himself and will let the others go then Jin decides to accept the deal, the seal of the deal is kissing the statue then we observe at the end of the video how Jin breaks and this is because he has taken the pain of 7 people together. . . .🛐

Ask and you shall receive! Some explanations to this music video: This song is from their "Wings" album. Each of their albums (or series of albums) explore a specific concept, and to understand the songs it helps to see them in the context of the album and the overarching story being told. The Wings album is about youth coming of age; temptation, loss of innocence, and growth. The concept of the album draws inspiration from the book "Demian" by Herman Hesse, which was quoted throughout the WINGS films. Demian is the story of a boy trying to find himself caught in an internal stuggle between light and dark, morality and temptation. It can be assumed that the book RM is reading to Jungkook in the beginning of the MV is Demian. The quote he reads during the break is also from this book: "He too was a tempter; he, too, was a link to the second, the evil world with which I no longer wanted to have anything to do." The piece Suga plays on the organ is another direct link to the book - it is "Passacaglia in D minor" by Buxtehude. In the book the main character has a mentor who is an organ player who plays this exact piece. The items shown in the museum are related to these themes of temptation and the fight between good and evil; The painting Jin is looking at in the beginning is titled "The Fall of the Rebel Angels" showing a battle between good angels and fallen angels. On one side there is a white gate and on the other a black gate. These represent Jin's choice. Also note the many Venus statues, goddess of desire (temptation), but also "Perseus With the Head of Medusa" which shows Man fighting and winning over evil. There are multiple references to Icarus; The painting behind Jungkook on the swing is "The Lament for Icarus". The painting behind V sitting on the balcony is "'Landscape with the Fall of Icarus". The melting wax is another reference, as Icarus fell to his death because the wax his wings were made of melted. Jungkook on the swing and levitating also relates back to the book "Demian"; in it the Main character tells his mentor about being afraid of the dreams where he is flying because he was loosing control and going too high. In the scene where they are all sitting around a table the only thing to eat is an apple placed on each plate. The apple being the symbol of temptation, the fruit that gives knowledge of good and evil, causing a loss of innocence but ultimately growth. The intermission with the balloon floating away hints at childlike innocence lost. Throughout the MV you see the members giving into temptation and "sinning". The quote “Man muss noch Chaos in sich haben, um einen tanzenden Stern gebären zu können. [You must have chaos within you to bear a dancing star.]” is from Nietzsche suggests that it is necessary to have both light and dark within you to grow and mature. This was also the conclusion of Demian, that it is necessary to balance both light and darkness. That is also the moral of Icarus's story - Icarus was told to fly neither too high, nor too low, and it was his failure to find a balance between the two that caused his demise.

this MV is base on a book and you better watch the MV explained cause there are full of symbolic things. It is like they give in to take the temptation even though they have already known there will be consequences.

Long story short, basically they were trying to fight the temptation, but eventually they all fell into it and the scene where Jin kissed the statue (fallen angel, aka evil or temptation) is when this fall happens or is complete and they're already doomed to that poison, which is why all the next shots seem darker and "corrupted" Of course, there is a whooole interpretation for this song (like when they wrote this song they were younger and leading with the fame and temptation that cames with the age) so I recommend you to watch an explanation it is worth it!

In case no one told you yet, throughout the MV‘s of BTS there‘s a coherent storyline. There are many many influences by authors like Hermann Hesse and philosophers like Carl Gustav Jung or Nietzsche. There are also plenty Videos on RU-vid that explain the whole storyline, which we Army call BU (Bangtan Universe). I recommend the Videos from xCeleste. BST is part of the BTS storyline. The Bangtan Universe. BU. You can take the "easy" route and watch the explanation videos, which will probably only further confuse, annoy and/or bore the hell out of you, lol, because you haven't watched any of the sequential storyline music videos yet. Or you can take the long route and watch the storyline as it was originally created and presented, which slowly reveals itself with many twists and turns, like reading a mystery novel. Provided overly enthusiastic blabber mouth commenters don't spoil it for you, which they WILL, by telling you what is going to happen before it even happens. SO annoying. You have to guard against that with your freakin' LIFE across social media if you want to watch it without interference and figure it out for yourself. It's a really compelling, beautifully written and acted art piece, so worth experiencing.

I love that you're starting to listen to and appreciate more than just the rap line of BTS. :) They really have so much to offer. Black Swan and Fake Love are two more I think you'd really appreciate. I see others have mentioned the Herman Hesse book... what else is good to know, is that BTS created a fictional story line that runs through a lot of their MVs. These MV are multi-layered and can be enjoyed on surface level lyrics and visuals or you can delve in a bit further to the double and triple meanings behind a lot of it. Visuals that MAY not seem like they fit into the surface level lyrics... DO FIT... but only if you know the whole story line. If you are ever interested in diving in, let us know and we'll give you the road map. :p There IS a great explanation video for this MV that will explain all of the Demian references as well as how all the different artwork and statues also fit into the MV.

hehehe... I live to see people's first reaction to this video. I love BS&T. It's about temptation, hence a bit sensual. The MV is full of artistic, literary, psychological and philosophical concepts and references. It is based on a book called Demian by Herman Hesse. As someone who studied literature, it was easy for me to pick up many of the references. But if you have no background in the aforementioned, maybe you need one of the very good explanation videos to explain the references to you
