Butter is a piece of cake when it comes to BTS live performance. ON, Fire and their MAMA and MMA performances are hardcore

A BTS fanboy here. They have the most stable voices on earth while dancing. Yeah backing track is there to help in sudden hard moves. They all have stable vocals because of course they are doing this for 8 years 12 hrs a day while dancing , singing, composing music, writing songs. THEY WORK HARD AF. THANK YOU FOR THE REACTION

This choreo is not hard for them (actually easy). You should react to Dionysus at MAMA 2019. The choreo is vey hard. If you want vocal analyses of BTS, you should react to their ballad songs or solo songs of their vocal lines.

I’d love to see you react to their live performance of Film Out. They have two, equally good. It’s a vocal-heavy non-dancing performance. Both on their BangtanTV channel.

Actually, the reason he didn't sing it was on purpose, they do that in their songs to give them a pause or a break before the next verse. Mainly when they are dancing they have those types of pauses. And, yes they work really hard, and each of them has a talent in a specific area. For Example, J Hope has a natural talent to pick up dance moves very quickly and implement them exceptionally well. That is why he is the dance Leader. He couldn't rap when they started, but he has worked really hard at it and can rap very well. RM is a lyricist, and I think that is something he works really hard at, but he has a natural talent for it, as well as his rap. Dancing on the other hand was something he didn't do or have the skill for, and he worked really hard to learn to dance and become good at it. These are just a few things, I could go on and on. Jimin I think is very gifted with his dance and singing, but he has worked very hard at his technique on both areas, which makes him exceptional at what he does. I admire all of them because of their work ethic, and they take nothing for granted. They are at the top of their field and they still practice their dance every day and continue to work on their vocals and writing etc. They keep themselves in shape and they are like brothers. Did you know they won Artist of the year at the AMA's? Also Favorite Pop Song, and Favorite Pop Duo or Group. And they were nominated for a Grammy for the second year.

Kiwi ARMY here and I'm so excited whenever I see your BTS reaction videos because it's like a joining of 2 worlds for me. Like others have said, definitely recommend the 2019 MAMA awards show performance. It's long but worth the watch and ARMY will watch any length of videos! Also as others have said, production of American awards shows don't do justice 😅

Do u know how hard it is to sing let alone dance and have a mic in your hand. Once in awhile the guys sing into their water bottles by mistake. Love them for all their hard work for us armies.

Definitely their performance of ON at Grand Central station is another amazing live moment! ... Some others would be Black Swan, Idol and Home which they also performed live for Jimmy Fallon.

I really enjoyed watching your reaction….you were mesmerised…love it! Some of my fave live vocal performances are individual stages by the members…Stigma or Singularity by V (Taehyung), Lie or Serendipity by Jimin, Euphoria by Jungkook, Awake or Epiphany by Jin. House of cards is my favourite song by the vocal line (it has some scatting 😉). All the ones I mentioned have eng sub versions on YT.

The fact that they sing it so well without being able to speak English is a credit to them also, Korean, Japanese and English lyrics, they truly are multi talented.

BTS sometimes don't sing some parts to show that they are dishing out live vocals as opposed to lipsynching with mics off. Jimin skipped the "two" because he has to draw in enough air to finish that part, run to the middle and then launch into the chorus. It is not easy! They go all out in the choreo. Other acts totally rely on lipsynching during strenuous performances like this. Not BTS.

Girl that dance wasn't anywhere near their hardest dances that they usually do. It's really amazing how they can both at the same time and they're doing both perfectly. You should check out more of their concerts and MMAs performances.

That was a sweet reaction. Thank you. Butter is an easy peasy lemon squeezy thing for them, they even said themselves that it was supposed to be a light hearted and easy to dance / sing along piece ( similar to PTD that followed later). They are all well practiced yes, but still you have to have something ultimately special in your tool box to reach this kind of level. There are two of them - well known to sound ALWAYS great and pretty much as on their recordings - one from the vocal line and one from the rap line - that however doesn´t take away from everybody else´s greatness :-) JK and J-Hope have both an innate ability to breathe through even the hardest choreos and sound incredibly good. I would warmly recommend "Armypedia unplugged" performance or "FESTA 2021" live - both great medleys of some of their best well known songs ( the first one older, the other most recent one but both equally great ).

Mama 2019 Dionysus performance. I love your immediate reaction, yeah they have that affect on people. They are excellent one reason is they are being naturally them. Does that make sense? You must check out the Mama 2019 Dionysus performance. They have several performances and they are all good but the MAMA2019 is jaw dropping spectacular. They danced so hard and perfectly, Jimin admitted he almost threw up. Awesome reaction👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Hi Zoe! I’m so happy you started to get into BTS more and i hope i can be of some help💜 There are 7 members in BTS, which i’m sure you know by now; 3 of them are rappers and 4 are vocalists. I’m going to try and describe them by their voice so you can differentiate them better: (each of them has three solo songs in their albums which they performed live so i’ll suggest some you can react to) •Rappers -RM - he’s the leader of the group, his voice is the deepest out of rappers. he’s the only one fluent in english and is often rapping in english too (songs: trivia love, persona) -SUGA - usually the one who’s rapping very fast, he also has very unique style of rapping where he adds little ‘hiccups’ (idk how exactly to describe it but once you hear it you’ll know what i mean) (songs: seesaw, shadow) -J-HOPE - he is a rapper but he’s also a very good singer, he often does melody raps, also adds many adlibs to the songs (songs: just dance, ego) •Vocalists -JUNGKOOK - his voice is the clearest out of all members, he’s known to be very stable (songs: euphoria, my time) -JIMIN - his voice is the most gentle, most unique voice in my opinion (in one of the interviews jimin said they needed to find a female voice to do some backing vocals for their song but jimin did it instead and many people thought a woman was singing it) (songs: serendipity, filter) -V (TAEHYUNG) - he’s the only baritone in the group, and is known to have a big range as well (songs: stigma, singularity) -JIN - his voice is more on the nasal side, and he’s known for his perfect falsettos; personally i would describe his voice as warm (songs: epiphany, moon) As for the group performances i suggest this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RRhjdYsNwAk.html It’s a performance with live arrangements of their songs, they’re sitting down and performing a compilation, you can hear their voices really clear! My two favorite live performances of Butter are the Jimmy Fallon performance on the bridge and the one on Colbert. They're both so good. Actually all of their live performances on Fallon are amazing. Whether they're in the studio with Fallon or filming their performance from those beautiful settings in Korea or Grand Central Station in New York, they're all fantastic.

"Practice Makes Perfect" is my high appraisal for BTS guys.....and also through their BTS hard works and efforts to this K-pop entertainment Industry in which it's not like a piece of cake 🍰 since in the year of 2013......God Blessed You BTS Guys Always..... well done 👍👍👍💖💖💖💝💝💝👍👍👍👏👏👏😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩🌈🌈🌈

Some times they use backing track in chorus or during hard choreo. This is not a performance where they need to use backing track. But it must be mentioned that the incorporate adlibs and layering of vocals with the music in backing track to make it more like the original sound. I don’t think that is necessary but it is more of a kpop thing. They aim for a perfect live performance.

Yeah BTS sometimes leave some words to prove to the haters who say they lipsync

And I've seen them live in concert several times and they always have their mics on live! They pride themselves in that. They say thats the difference between singers and performers. Of course they use one for their dance heavy tracks but never at full volume. Their concerts are 2.5-3 hours! (They train singing on treadmills.) They are actually amazing live performers. I've never seen anything like it. And in concert they are actually MORE relaxed and their vocals are sooo good. You should react to some live concert footage. React to Magic Shop Live (with Eng Subs) Jungkook wrote the song for their ARMY fandom. It's like a love letter.... the rap line did write their own parts. It's a fav for sure! You would also love Your Eyes Tell (live) which was written as an OST for a Japanese movie. And BTS Festa Room Live which they perform snippets of songs through the years live. Festa is an annual celebration of their debut. They celebrate with ARMY by releasing tons of special content for their fans including free original songs, photos, video skits, etc. You won't have copywrite issues with these. Really enjoy your vocal analysis.

Kia Ora... you have ARMY coloured hair, yea! Purple is our colour. In regards to the backing track, you'll learn that they often omit a word/words in a live performance to prove to the haters and the doubting Thomas's that they are actually singing live. They don't lip sync. 1. They themselves have said they're terrible at it. 2. Because they've been accused by other fandoms, haters, media and Westerners that they can't sing live and dance at the same time. They continually prove they can. People seem to forget that Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Bruno Mars do it. Jungkook the first and main vocalist opening BUTTER has the steadiest voice when dancing. They are all cardio fit to be able to perform. This choreography is quite easy for them so there isn't excessive strain on them like ON KINETIC MANIFESTO (complicated choreo). They normally take turns singing so that the others can rest their voices and there are also rest steps in their choreo so they can catch their breath. They also know how to use their microphones to their best advantage allowing their voices to be consistant and to conserve volume and energy. They're not yelling out the lyrics, they're projecting their voices. They have to. Their performances are singing/rapping/dancing heavy. As those lucky buggars in Inglewood California are finding out first hand this weekend just gone and the next couple of days, at BTS's first live concerts in 2 years. Ugh so completely JEALOUS!!! Lol. ON at Grand Central Station is a brilliant song to react to next.

Ozzie-Kiwi here. For me, I have been really surprised at how talented (yes I know you don't like to use the word haha) they are. I was introduced to BTS about 2 months ago and I found myself getting more and more transfixed by their performances. I don't speak Korean, but honestly their Korean tracks are just f...king amazing. Their individual performances, for eg Sweet Nights, Singularity are a reminder of how good singers and rappers they are individually. There are 2 hardcore rappers, RM and Suga and one rapper/dancer - J-Hope. Jungkook, Jimin and V are the singers. Most of their music are self-produced. These guys are musicians. I hate it now when they are described as "boy bands" - it takes away from their training and abilities. If you want live performances, check out "Ma City", "second grade", blood, sweat and tears" and "black swan" (at james corden).
