RM is the best leader ever. Never takes the spotlight. He always lets everyone to speak whatever they want but he will intervene if they are struggling. I admire him so much

Jin is not trying to joke about being WWH Worldwide handsome, he is just stating obvious facts

Suga is what you see is what you get. You hit the nail in the head. No two face from him. He will tell you straight what he is thinking and he doesn’t “sugar”(hehe) coat things. He likes to express his feelings and thoughts through music. He doesn’t feel comfortable being openly emotional on the spot in the interviews etc. But his music is his story telling 👌

When you get Suga and V participating in interviews, and jungkook not zoning out,,it means the interviewer is a good one.

Jungkook often ends up in a loading moment where he get stuck and the thinking process takes too long. About Jimin, I can assure you that he can get in the center of the attention without any problems.

Suga is actually super super soft in the inside, we all think of him as a cat 😂 which fits him perfectly

I feel like jimin is in both sides, like sometimes he’s not the most talkative person but normally he’s really outgoing and has a bright attitude, he likes to joke around and interact with the others, he’s one of those who just captivates people’s attention AND ALSO ON STAGE, watching jimin on stage is such a pleasure

When RM speaks in Korean though, it gets even deeper. 😂 He's such a poetic nerd and we love him for it.

I think Jimin is kinda half and half...On stage Jimin is very powerful and bold and your attention is drawn to him..Off stage Jimin can be very chill and sweet and he's very affectionate with his members...Overall I think he just puts his input where he sees fit in these types of situations 8:48 Suga and Jin are the oldest in BTS so 🤷😂

Bts in Interviews often seem a bit introverted, but let me tell ya: Their like the most funniest and extra persons on this earth. Seeing them for example in the bts run episodes, bts in the soop or bon voyage is like seeing complete different persons. In interviews, especially in those which are held in english, they are just more serious, which is definitely not a bad thing, but it just doesn’t show their personalitys that good. As for Suga for example: it’s true, he often is more serious, but he can also be hilariously funny. They just seem very different depending on what you watch of them. I recommend watching the carpool, they did with James Cordon. There, they go way more out with their personalitys.

Jimin is certainly more reserved in interviews, esp foreign language interviews. However he lives for performing, and when he is on stage, he COMMANDS attention. All of them have crazy stage presence but the dichotomy between how Jimin is off and on stage is particularly noteworthy. Off stage and in a comfortable setting, he is very friendly and outgoing and sweet, but on stage, he's intimidating.

RM is seasoned now giving interviews now. But then they first blew up on America it was hard for him. It would be interesting to see your reaction to their 2017-2018 interviews. But loads of American interviews just treated them silly with silly questions so cannot get much from it. Just FYI, Korean netizens always seem to praise how articulate and well spoken Jimin, Suga and Hobi are in the interviews.

RM is fluent in three languages and scored VERY high in his language skills in school. He tested at 148 IQ and his high school tests put him in the top 1% of students his age in Korea.

You are so right about SUGA. He is very honest and never fakes anything, in music or in real life. He is unapologetically true to himself. But as any person he has complex personality and multiple layers in him. At first sight he looks very serious and sometimes new fans even don't pay attention to him, but when you focus on him you are starting to understand that he is incredibly interesting person. Of course he is serious about music, music saved his life and gave him purpose in life. But when he feels comfortable and the topic of conversation is light he can be so extra and funny. For me he is literally one of the funniest members, because of his dry sense of humor. And all member love it in him, as Jin said to him "Yoongi, without you the members have been kind of down. They dry comment you'd add when we throw around jokes would often crack us up"

jin is often the one to make a fool of himself on purpose and in a way break the ice for the other members, he does this all the time, like w the 'worldwide handsome' joke. He and J-Hope are the ones that emphasize to us fans that they want to consistently present a happy image

jimin has said himself that he's shy with new people but that doesn't translate to his on stage persona at all. i guess army doesn't count as "new people"😆. to maybe give you more of an insight: he has tested as ENFJ on the MBTI test.

Jimin does seem fairly calm in this interview but yeah... as many comments have stated, he rly is an energetic, outstanding performer and probably also the most bubbly of all the members! :) he's a sweetheart truly

Jimin was one of the guys that took me a bit longer to understand when I first got into BTS, I think he's mostly pretty soft spoken and is an attentive listener during these kinds of interviews, but he's an absolute monster on stage lol. Literally born to perform. He's a very loving person who cares immensely about the people around him and is always there to provide support. He's also pretty sassy and a massive flirt, so...this man will be death of me a thousand times over 😩 Jin is definitely one of the more outgoing guys in BTS. He gives me the impression that he's pretty quiet and needs time alone to recharge sometimes, but he's also super goofy and chaotic with his friends. He's the kind of person who's always there to ease the tension in the room by making jokes and generally making people feel more comfortable. Part of that might be because he is the oldest in BTS, so he feels the responsibility to take care of his members. He has an incredibly witty and sometimes narcissistic sense of humor (in short, he is my chaos god). He's the kind of guy who won't let you be embarrassed alone, he'll join you. There was this one time when V accidentally fell onto his knees on the red carpet, and he kind of just stayed there awkwardly for a few seconds, but then Jin decided to join him on his knees, and they all just kind of laughed it off. He's just a super smart, humorous, considerate person. Jhope is honestly such a sweetheart. He's usually really cheerful and bright, but he's super professional and serious about his work. He's super encouraging towards the boys and is pretty much their resident hype man. Like Jimin, he will also frequently set fire to the stage and to our hearts.

Its not Indian. Indian is our nationality. Hindi is our official language. We have many languages but in this interview it was HINDI. Loved the analysis in the video. Jimin is quite person in real life but on stage he is totally different. He is skilled dancer and performer and known for his sexy personality on stage. All of them have great stage presence

SUGA is actually the most open out of all members because his lyrics are intensely personal to him and he shared very personal stories in his music. He writes about what is important to him and he does it in the most honest and raw way. And in his songs music always follows lyrics as song goes on, so everything is connected because he is not only songwriter, but producer too. He was born to create music and it is always interesting when he shares his thoughts about creative process or music in general. He is very professional and passionate musician

J-Hope is the second leader in the group, he helps organize them on stage as a dance leader. When it comes to work, he is very serious and demanding.

Yoongi’s definitely got his sides to him lol, he can be serious but he can also be really really fun and goofy, really just depends on the day. Honestly all the boys have their sides to them. I don’t think interviews are the way to go to see their personalities to their fullest extent. They were def trying to be more serious since this was a pretty big interview, but away from this they are fun guys that all just filled with smiles and laughs. They are all hilarious and I really want you to see them away from a serious interview type format~ Maybe another reaction to a run episode? I think that’s the best way to see their personalities :D

She is an excellent interviewer… asking in depth questions….she’s great….she’s doing something right because the guys are so relaxed and happy in this interview compared to those American interviews (BTS never look this happy)….Thank god she didn’t ask them who they want to collab with!!! ….American interviewers are always asking that boring question ….BTS don’t need a collab!!!

They have an insane amount of content that would be far better indicators of their personalities. Anything you analyse about their personality in such subdued settings is a stretch at best. They are very professional in interviews. Would have recommended jaeki cho if you were insistent on an interview Edit : jimin is the life of the stage lol. He has said performing is integral to him as a person. He is just not the most expressive on zoom interviews

You definitely should check out RM speak in Korean 😊 his English is great, but he is so articulate in Korean it hurts my brain. He’s a true poet with his words, and his letters to army every now and then makes me wish he would write a novel one day. He is the best leader 🤍 I think we can all agree

BTS is know to bring a pen and paper in their press cons, they write their thoughts on paper whole reporters ask them question. I love Suga, not because he is my bias but coz of how real he is and straight forward. No bullsh*t from this guy.Each of them has a very distinct and loveable personality.

When I heard what was said about Jimin, my mouth dropped open, & I tried hard to keep my laughter in, thinking, boy did he get this one wrong! If he only knew (especially on stage) Jimin is so just the opposite of the description. But I guess first impressions can be deceiving like that, depending on situation one is going by. But even in this interview, personally I saw him so differently, even flirty, with the interviewer, staring her down, also Jimin always tends to think carefully before talking, always talking from a sincere, thoughtful, respectful place. But with all BTS members, there are so much more to them, there is so much more depth and so many many sides to their personality that's hard to be able to decipher from just one perspective, and just one interview. interview.

Jimin seems quite in interviews but he is like a different person on stage XDD his duality is insane

If you totally dig in to their personalities, BTS are 30% musicians and 70% comedians 😆

Suga, Jungkook and Jin call themselves the introverts of the group

Jimin is quite outgoing. He's loud and clingy/affectionate with the members, he also loves to make sassy remarks but is thoughtful. He's quite shy sometimes but he loves the attention as he uses it to his advantage in dancing. When Jimin doesn't have to say anything, he keeps quiet.

Jimin is perhaps a little less easy to peg, sometimes he's the loudest and funniest like with jimmy fallon for example. Mostly what I notice with jimin is how perceptive and empathetic he is thats his big thing

I agree with your perception of Suga. I think he's confident and real. When he speaks up, except for silly situations, his words are well chosen. He shuts rude reporters down politely but firmly. When Suga shows his happiness, this Army is happy too.

I love how no one is ever able to pin down jimin. First assumption is usually dead wrong. A real dichotomy that one. Very fascinating.

In fact jimin is just the opposit of what you said. He is the one who is always flurting. One time in a interview they have to choose an animal to represent them he choose the koala arguing "because i love hugs" Alsow RM is the leader but 3 membres are older than him and if you have live in korea you must know the imprtance of age.

rm has a word for jimin; he's a little shy but on stage it's the opposite.. Jimin was created for the stage. I haven't seen any better than him. Being shy in real life doesn't change how he draws attention on stage.

I’m waiting for part 3. Also it’s interesting that you think Jimin doesn’t draw that much attention on stage because he actually has crazy charisma on stage but he can be shy off stage. Suga is pronounced like sugar without the “r” and although he tends to be quite and not the most engaged but when he gets his bursts of energy it’s the best thing ever.

Jimin is usually quieter for English interviews- wait til you see him in their stage performances and Korean variety shows !

You should see some of the interviews and award shows where the boys are acting up and RM just glances at them and they stop and stand up straight when they know they're saying something they shouldn't, lol.

I think you are absolutely right about Suga. He is a very calm, intelligent, and introverted person who has passion for music. His expressions are special so when he expresses himself a little more it really is meaningful to everyone. But he is completely honest in every sense of the word. He says it like it is.

that's definitely a great point when you mentioned how different namjoon might be when he speaks in korean. as someone that understands korean, i can definitely pick up the way he translates his korean thoughts into english and because of that, i've often noticed him to punch his thigh or constantly use his hands while translating his thoughts in real time. he definitely has an even calmer body language and is even more articulate and poetic when he speaks in korean.

RM's speech in Korean really are great and profound, the guy is a natural leader all the way

i'm totally on the the same page with you. what i adore most about suga is definitely his honesty. he doesn't sugarcoat by any means, you get what you see. yet he cares secretly and pretends not to pay adequate attention.

suga and jin are both introvert and extremely blunt, both have different sense of humor and that makes their conversations interesting, still jin is the most complicated member, he is an introvert but act as an extrovert. he fights his personality and he is acting major so that helps him, and about jimin he definitely own the stage, he has that duality. :D bts car pool karaoke really does show much of them. check it out pls

i think a lot of people get suga wrong and mistake how he acts for a sense of “not caring” or a lack of wanting to be there. however he’s very focused and is very introspective haha. i hope you get to see him express himself more later

I would love to see your reaction/analysis to Jaeki Cho's interview for Amazon music. The host is Korean American and conducted the interview in both languages and they really warmed up (esp. Suga I think). There was a good flow, almost like a conversation. Def one of the best non-korean interviews of theirs imho :)

Unfortunately I can’t afford the Patreon reactions but I’m glad you watched this interview because it was so good. The host asked questions that really mean something, she did her job and researched things about the boys so they could show us more of their thoughts. Suga the textbook definition of introvert and J Hope the textbook definition of extrovert, and these two are so fond of one another and their personalities naturally attract each other, they even gave a name, Sope. When Suga was drained of energy, he said to bring J Hope 🥰

This was such a good interview. She asked interesting questions that showed that she knew about the group but also about them each personally- you cannot IMAGINE how rare it is for them to get something other than the most basic generic white bread questions. I think the interviewer had a LOT to do with their relaxed demeanor and ability to be themselves. That, and being able to answer in Korean when they want made a huge HUGE difference. Props to her forever.

Jimin's actually more reserved and relaxed off-stage...BUT, damn, on-stage....that man's literally the center of attention. He doesn't even need to try haha. So many layers to Jimin.

What you say about v is true in bts he is the one so humble among them and so honest of himself.. a pure innocent and kind heart.. so down to earth personality..

Actually jin is an introvert and jimin is an extrovert.. Its just when it comes to interviews and answering questions, Jimin always tries to think deep and give an articulate answer. Jin actually when answering, he tries to do so with some humour. But apart from these interviews when they are just being themselves, you would see that they shameless (in a good way, like they do want they want to do without the fear of judgement) especially in those award shows and stuffs. And here the interviewer is actually a bts army so she was just trying to maintain her composure without fangirling. If you want to like really know the way they communicate, either watch the korean interviews or the better option watch one of their run bts episodes

Sakshma was flirting or not i can't say anything about that but she declared that She is ARMY! and her bias is V. Being an army and seeing these boys in front of you.. laughing and smiling how can you keep the excitement within? I mean if I would've been there instead of her I would've been dead by now out of excitement😂Anyway, She was amazing and made the boys really comfortable.💜

RM is (at least for me and many other armys) the best leader. Like you said he doesn't impose himself in the group and really tries hard (especially in the english interviews) that every member gets to speak. He once really felt bad because Jungkook didn't get to say his rehearsed answer (yes they do rehearse and practice very hard english phrases and sentences for interviews for example at the bbmas. - then again the questions aren't that deep). Anyways back to RM he takes the lead when necessary. He plays a big role in their group dynamic (every member brings a lot to their synergy as group i think) and holds the group very well together. :) sry for the long comment btw :D long story short: RM is a great and wonderful leader and perfect for this group!

This interviewer was really good... she asked specific questions of each member - intellegent questions, mixed with a bit of humour... This is a far cry from the majority of their western interviews... you could tell that the guys were happy by the thought they put into answering. The interview by adele for BBC Radio1 (she has done 3 with BTS) are all really good as well... it helps when the interviewers actually educate themselves about the group. They have done many really good korean interviews especially since dynamite blew up... also check out their live streams - they do them to celebrate with ARMY after award shows and comebacks and album releases... they interviewed themselves after the release of their album BE - they sat on couches all together and discussed how they took part in all aspects of it.

This is one of their favourite interviewers and she is a true ARMY.. and so they were really comfortable in this interview.

if i had to put the members in order from most introvert to most extroverted it would be this Suga introvert Jungkook Jin RM ambivert V Jimin J Hope extrovert every so often we see that Jin will be ore introverted than JK, and V will be more extroverted than Jimin.. but its tends to be this way (now a days) most of the time it surprises people to find out that Jin is a introvert, or that V (2019 and onward) is a extrovert because Jin tends to be very outspoken, bold, and confident in interviews... whilst V tends to be more soft spoken and reserved but Jin and JK are definitly an "extroverted Introverts" and Jimin and V are "introverted extroverts" not necisarrily equal enouch to be ambiverts, every time RM takes the MBTI test, it switches between Extrovert and Introvert, whilst V Jimin and Jhope constantly get Extrovert and Jin Jungkook and Suga constantly get Introvert

9:50 Oh man oh man. Him speaking in Korean is always an amazing experience because he’s already very articulate in his second language, so when he speaks his mind in Korean it’s on another level. He’s a very poetic person.

RM is super articulate in Korean and there definitely is a noticeable shift, his confidence really shoots up due to the elimination of the language barrier and he becomes much more emotive. I’d really recommend looking for their Korean interviews/speeches, you’ll notice it right away!

i found that when they meet good interviewers with good questions, they would enjoy and provide more serious answers too

loved the video ! i really recommend their amazon music interview with jaeki cho; their personalities shine more and there are times RM is able to speak a little in korean as the interviewer is korean-american !

Whenever the question is about music, BTS is always giving their honest thoughts. They are really genuine about their music and their messages and so when answering questions they are always giving honest answers. For Suga I think he evaluate the question to determine if it's worth answering. He mostly answers and get more talkative when the question is about music.
