"this was a lot!" yes!!! they basically use cliche kpop music video tropes (crazy colors, filters, cgi, dynamic camera work and effects) to create an over-the-top kpop music video on purpose.

"IDOL" is absolutely incredible Live. My daughter and I were there at The Rose Bowl, May4, 2019 and were both blown away by it. Just imagine 50,000 ARMYs all singing with their full chests, "You can't stop me loving myself!" 🥰💜💜💜

This was the 1st video I had ever seen by BTS lol. It is a lot. My late husband showed it to me because we had lived in Korea once, it was so overstimulating I didn't think I liked it... Idol!!! It was my first ever song I heard of BTS!! I loved it because it sounded like classic/popular music from my own culture and I couldn't stop listening to IDOL once I heard it and it lead me to looking for more from BTS and the rest is history. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it!

I lived in Reno, NV for a couple years and Burning Man brings huge numbers of people there each year. The hotels are packed before and after. The parking lots are full of campers, RVs. It’s wild.

The word comes from Nigeria. So most slaves came from slave traders in Nigeria. The southern accent changed the hard sounding g to a soft sounding g. Makes sense. 💝

While I like that you review the lyrics, the Idol MV is filled with so much Korean historical and cultural references that it would have been better to review the DKDKTV explanation video!!!! It would have put the entire video in the proper context!
