This is my theory: Jimin liked another girl and this is his best friend’s pov. When he said “I’ve got a date with her” he was talking to her (his best friend). He probably didn’t realize that he had feelings for her yet. She told him that she didn’t want to be “just friends” but he probably rejected her because of that clip that showed her crying. She moved on and eventually got engaged. Jimin didn’t realize that he had feelings for her until that moment. Then he called her and said “maybe I don’t want you to get married after all” now, WE NEED A PART TWO!
