BTS: Jimin "Lie" Stagemix Reaction 

This is my favorite solo of Jimin, I love all their solo’s but this song is amazing

This song already sold 500,000 units in the US and last Wednesday serendipity again sold 500,000 units and he's the only Korean soloist in history in this feat and now eligible for RIAA 2 gold certification, JIMIN making history on his own,and next month maybe Filter will follow this 2 amazing songs👏👏👏👏👏👑

My first ever bias..Jimin is reason I started watching BTS. Jimin is Perfect 💜💜💜💜💜

He said in an interview that this song is (among other things of course) about all the lies he used to tell himself, like “i’m not good enough. I’m bad.” He really struggled with his self image and perfectionism in the early years. He also wrote most of the lyrics himself!

that's the good thing about Jimin (all of them tbh but him especially); he keeps you on your toes becuase you never know just how he will attack you. or in my case on the floor mostly

Thank you thank you for this perfect reaction. Jimin is perfect in every way. His lovely personality and his generous heart (he n Hobi donates the most. Jimin donates privately and we come to know only much later from local people, organisations etc so we don't know the full extent of his donations. He received an honorary diploma last month from his alma mater prestigious Busan Arts, High School from where he graduated first. We found out because someone's niece was attending the ceremony.He was top of his class. Also he was valedictorian in his school and class president for 9 years. He could have gone on to do anything but chose idol music, fortunately for us, to the sadness of his teacher who said the world had lost a great dancer. He has high emotional intelligence and maturity and is an emotional centre of BTS. Namjoon recently said he is naturally altruistic and does things he shouldn't have to for others. His celebrity friend have said he learnt kindness from him. Members chose Jimin as the one they go to talk when they are stressed. He and Hobi have been sharing room in Bangtan flat for many years now (others have their own) and during a local end of the year award show Hobi said he couldn't have managed over the height of the pandemic without him. They love each other to bits. Needless to say, he is my ultimate artist, one of a kind of this generation. He is normally a goofball but in local award shows he is quiet. The moment I became an Army was in such a moment in one of the award shows where I noticed him standing on the edge of the group and just at that point he languidly brushed his hair back. Time just stood still. I just saw a heavenly creature. Irl in live concerts his presence and beauty is ethereal. He glows. He is not as delicate as he looks in screen/ stills. He's rather sturdy and muscular. Some plastic surgeon described him as being beyond handsome. Agree with you Jimin with white tee is lethal. His vlives are mesmerising and he literally can wear grandma cardigan and have petal hairstyle and still bewitch you. That's why he is a muse of so many local and international artists. He found out about it only on in recent vlive when Namjoon told him he has seen portraits of him by local artists in exhibitions. He was very surprised. His performance have been called the Rookie bible by media because many rookies as well as established idols like to cover them esp Lie which is considered to be very hard. His song Serendipity literally woke a father from near coma who only remain sconscious while it's being played. The Canadian Army's family was so grateful that last Christmas they donated food for elderly in his hometown Busan. The song has been effectively used as lullaby and for calming babies kids animals. (Jimin has no idea!). Sorry this got too long. I mean I can wax lyrical about Jimin forever. Like Namjoon says it takes a whole day to talk about Jimin when he was asked to say smth about him in local network interview. Filter is nearly there. He participated in the lyrics writing and it's composition. Pdogg, producer, composer, and lyricist for Big Hit Music said in one of their docu that Lie was the most anticipated song and also the hardest to make. Filter too was the most anticipated solo song in MOTS, ON:E concert. These are b side unprompted songs and make up two out of the only 3 BTS solo songs to be eligible for RIAA Gold Certification in the US.

Oh I love this Jimin solo it’s my first if I list his solos, it’s so personal especially since it talks about the negative things he’s said to himself about his performance ability and his body( things he’s has done to be ‘perfect’ in his eyes) it’s still relevant today for him really but of course he’s wonderful but he still has trouble seeing it himself. But yeah such a personal song and 1 for me.
