Since no one else has told you the story behind the lyrics, I will! Because Jin started his singing and dancing journey so much later than the other guys, he always felt like he was just not as talented. When he says that he can't fly like those flower petals can, he's referring to the other members. He even says something about 6 flower petals, 6 being the other members. But, what I love, is that he says maybe he'll never be as good as they are, but he wants to keep trying. And he worked his rear end off! Practicing by himself, late into the night, starting to learn the choreography early so that he wouldn't hold the others back...and he STILL does that, 8 years into his career! And the best part is, he has become a world class singer, has become a lyricist and composer, has learned multiple instruments, and can hold his own in the choreography. He is truly the definition of work ethics and perseverance. And he did all this while quietly caring for his members and making sure they are all as happy as he can help them be. A role model and a truly admirable man.

All 7 of them are more than great but seriously, i'm so impressed by Jin, he is such a great singer and composer. His songs and voice are filled with purity, not to mention his own personality. Although he is always playful but like he, himself, has said he is really shy and a simple person.

Jin wrote most of this song, and co-composed with with RM, Jhope and some of their in-house producers. He wanted to make sure that his first solo original song reflected what he really felt. I think he really did.

Awake Produced by Slow Rabbit Written by Slow Rabbit, Jin, j-hope, June, Pdogg, RM, “Hitman” Bang Note: Jin’s solo track, the first song he participated in composition. The first two lines were written by Bang PD, and RM participated in writing the rest of the lyrics. RM praised the melody making skill of J-Hope and Jin in this track. The lyrics represent Jin’s personality. J-hope did the melody for "But it's my Fate" and "Wide awake Wide awake Wide awake don't cry"

@@ZiahTV please give a good heads up. We generally all love watching reactions to BTS performances at the MMAs and MAMAs - at they only get bigger and longer the more recent. The 2019 MMA is probably the most iconic BTS performancer EVER.

i hope you could actually watch the concert performance video. you can clearly hear Jin's voice also the audience singing along with him at some point you will have the goosebumps. You should check out his Epiphany song live.
