Since it's Korean lyrics, Koreans have different words that are considered "curse words". So when the lines say "rolling in the poop", the translation should probably have been more like "rolling in shit" based on the context of the lyric to better convey the intensity of the meaning, but regardless, the word is the same, because the Korean doesn't use feces as a curse word, so there aren't multiple ways to say the word as there is in English. So yeah, the translation is "correct" technically, though not intention-wise. But yeah, "poop" does really lessen the impact of the lyrics. xD

To me Jimin's line is very telling "we picked this game". It makes me think that he is talking about the fact that they chose this career and what comes with it at times is all the sh*t the haters throw at them.

This song is very related to a song they did early on in their career which is called "2!3!". Which talks of hoping for a better day and hoping to see the smiles on the faces of fans, but knowing that those smiles are lies to the knowledge that the fans though they smile are in pain from their lives. So they are saying that (people) say "The pain (I feel) is hypocrisy (because I have it all) but they know that the fans are dealing with pain and that brings them pain. Where he speaks of rolling in the poop (or the filth as the ediom speaks of) it's the poop of knowing that their fans are constantly in anguish and not being able to change it of having to listen to other talk about BTS in bad terms calling them names because of their race or calling them a boy band or making fun of the fact they were make-up, it's all filth but if not BTS who would deal with it. He particularly shared about relating to ARMYs letters, comments and posts in social media who expressed themselves when feeling down and seeking comfort and being grateful to Bangtan as they became a huge role to motivate strength, acceptance and love. He imagined that during concert tours, fans share the fun with them but he realized that beyond those faces are fragile lives who have different stories to tell and fans count on their songs and presence. As for BTS, who encourages everyone to ''speak yourself/ourselves" (from their voices of reasons in many ways) the message or rather, main inspiration of the song is that, they are going to continue to listen to our stories and will never stop singing for us, while we speak ourselves. Bombs when exploding have a powerful connation, its either terror or war (that hardships and pain represent) and its noise are frightening as it loud. This is one of my favorite songs of BTS and Sunga’s lyrics hits me. It says “people are jealous and dismiss my pain as hypocrisy, but they don’t know what pain I endure.’ This really hit me when I first heard it. It made me realized that I’m not alone when my emotions get invalidated. This song really resonated with me. That’s why I love BTS. Their music is like a balm and it speaks to my soul. 💜

ON A SIDE: How to say this....I have watched many of your reactions and always turned them off before you would begin your rapping because, honestly, I couldn't hear the true lyrics of that song beyond the (filthy) language. They are singing directly to ARMY and about their emotions as behind the cheers and silent pain/sadness, there lies the shadow. Their songs have literally saved peoples lives and they are acknowledging that, but RM asks whether it is okay to have such an impact on other people lives. Yoongi responds to that by saying if it is not them, who will? And from the lyrics they also sang you and I promise, in which they end up promising to keep singing for us hence the lyrics "Louder than bombs I sing". BTS light sticks are also called army bombs and hence the title "Louder than Bombs".
