As a Jin stan, I'm so happy and proud of him for all the lines and screen time he's getting. I think he's shown how much he deserves it from hard work and improvement and it's great BigHit and BTS notice too.

I knew I liked the sound of Mikrokosmos from the start. Okay. But I didn’t realize how much I needed David getting hype over Dionysus in my life. 😂👏🏽

Then Tae jumping off that bridge (drowning and submerging) in prologue and in BST again? They are trying to say that army saved them? Is that right?

I think that the whole album is presenting BTS persona - Idols with the huge fanbase., so that's why there are a lot of lyrics about army. I think other albums will get us deeper. It's just my theory, but this album is so bright and light because it's persona theme. And their main persona - Idols. I guess the following album will get darker, as we'll get closer to the true BTS. I love this series because it seems like they are not afraid to look imperfect in front of army. Also, J-Hope and Jimin before the release dropped the tweets with #curiousaboutARMY hashtag and these exact words from the start of the song. I love this funny coincidence.

I can't understand why people say that it was disappointing. I mean okay it is personal taste but in my opinion it is one of their best albums. Boy with luv is more upbeat and kind of soft. We needed something like this after the love yourseld era which was kind of dark

I am from Greece, so I feel I should give you some information about Dionysus (Διόνυσος). In ancient greek mythology, he is the god of wine, winemaking, grape harvest, fertility and theatre among other things. He is one of the twelve gods of Olympus. Son of Zeus, but with a mortal mother. People were having big festivals to worship Dionysus. During that festivals, they were free to drink, dance and just be themselves, without any worries. He was their leberator, who made them free from self-consious fear and care and subverted the oppressive restraints of the powerful. Now, it makes absolute sense that our boys chose him and made a song about his cult. His cult is also a "cult of the soul" and he is sometimes categorised as a "dying-and-rising", as well as "the god of epiphany"( Jin's song). So many Bts's songs carry greek names, that I really feel honoured and blessed!

Intro: Persona is actually sampled from RM's rap in the intro to Skool Luv Affair. It's so dope that he flipped it back to a beat he made when he was younger when talking about who he is now and where he wants to go. The old school beat is a throwback musically and on a deeper level personally. I love it. Who the hell are you Namjoon? My ult and a freaking intellectual.

I was meh at first but I'm listening again I love the album so much. I prefer the audio version of BWL than the MV, I like that it has more Halsey in it (I wasn't even expecting to like her since I don't know her but I love her input in this, she put a lot of effort in this and even sang in Korean and danced with them). The only thing I don't like is the autotune on Tae's voice when he says 'boy' in the boy with luv chorus

This is bts’s best song to be honest. The meaning,vocals,VISUALSSS, Everyone shone this time equally,It isn’t a powerful type of song it is a repay to armys and a type of song you can listen anywhere anytime. This is underwhelming compared to Idol and others but why make the same type of song again and again? This time Bts is going world domination.

agreed this is also my favorite intro to any BTS album. i've been waiting for this kind of song from RM. his mixtapes were great, but this is what i've been waiting for.

“I need to heal my medic but I’m another star.” Ok maybe this is a translation error or something, but I’m going to take it at face value and make a little theory. All the stars are people who are struggling with something and need to be healed (this album has mentioned stars quite a few times and I’m really trying not to connect it with TXT). BTS’s “medic” is ARMY. BTS’s music heals ARMYs, but ARMYs heal BTS. They are saying that they need to heal us, but they are also struggling with things. Just my take on it.

I think their next album in this series will be the dark concept one! Especially because it’ll be referencing the “shadow self”. Persona is all about the surface things of who we are...who we choose to present to the public...so it makes sense that this would be a happier/lighter concept album! Just like her and answer were in comparison to tear!

I think Jamais Vu is about Jin and his death (in Save Me Webtoon last episode) . He woke up everyday on the same day 11 April. Although Jin experiences the day, he doesn't remember anything. It is Jamais Vu. And he is in pain that he doesn't know what is the reason for. A "remedy" is needed to save him. Please give him another chance :( (

you know how ly answer's tracklist was ordered to tell a story (wonder->her->tear->answer) ?? i think persona's tracklist is ordered backwards to show the path of the persona! what you have in terms of removing one's persona is: -identification -disintegration -negative resonance/absence -recovery dionysus is identification. they’re gods, they’re idols, they’re artists. this is what fans and the general public alike raise them too. this is a mask. jamais vu and home is where they ‘fail to commit’ to the persona. disintegration. jamais vu is things that happened being unfamiliar - the persona that u should be desensitized to or used to is suddenly unrecognizable, u cant identify to it or keep it up anymore. home is running away from that persona. dropping the facade. mikrokosmos and make it right as negative resonance/absence. going the opposite way of the persona but still not at the point of reaching ‘the true self’. mikrokosmos is LITERALLY the opposite of dionysus actually, mikrokosmos is the everyday interactions n lives between average ppl versus dionysus a literal God kjsdnfkj then boy with luv is recovery. it’s literally their genuine selves u see it in the way they sing it to us, the lyrics the chill dance, them saying they were given ‘wings like icarus’ but they didnt fly into the sun/doom they flew to us ( ;-; ) yknow? and intro persona ties it all together!!! who am i? who are we to put labels on things? do u carry on the influences of ur past? etc

This album is such a BOP! BTS just never disappoints. This is what I love about them. Everytime they release new album, they give it their all into every songs. They don't just release songs for the sake of having a comeback

I was reading about the Hero archetype and there was this one really interesting article about it. How nowadays our society praises the Hero archetype in pop culture (like Marvel movies, movies in general) but Hero is not the final form of a man but only one of the stages of psychological development. So we kinda praise this Hero-adolescent who dreams too big and doesn't know his limits. And in Boy with Luv BTS talks about how they wanna get back down to their roots and appreciate the little things, not going for the "world peace" or changing "world order" which might be too big for them (they are just people at the end of the day). They try to better the world in small achievable steps instead. I think this song is reeeeally good. Not only it is radio friendly so it might be their first US hit but the song also presents a kind of philosophy that I personally really like. It's about the little things in life :). I guess
