Honestly I’ve been following jre just as long as bts, and I’ve witnessed how he came to love bts from being hard on them on when they debuted to really coming around and accepting them. It makes it so much more special. This really hit the feels 🥺

Okay I think I know what Greek god each of the guys are representing Taehyung: Artemis (the goddess of the hunt and virginity) this is kind of a long shot but Artemis was worshipped by female priestess only so that’s what the dancers symbolize, but he’s also wearing white which symbolizes virginity Jin: Athena (the goddess of wisdom and warfare) because he isn’t actually fighting but is seemingly commanding them and the horse is probably in reference to the Trojan horse that was dedicated to Athena but he also just be the Ares (the god of war) Jimin: Aphrodite (the goddess of love) yet again a long shot but the song suggests that this should be a soft and sweet performance but Jimins dance is very powerful and ends with fire which basically is Aphrodite’s personality in a nutshell Yoongi: Hades (the god of the underworld) there isn’t much subtlety about this but with all the fire but you might say that yoongi and hades is very alike because they both have a reputation of being tough and dominant but if you learn more about them you learn that they are the exact opposite and is actually really benevolent and quite kind(also I refuse to think that yoongi is Hephaestus (The god of fire) because that’s just cruel) Jungkook: Poseidon (the god of the oceans) again no subtlety with him dancing in water Hoseok: Zeus (the god of lighting and the king of the gods) an other long shot but the lights kinda looks like lightning and the dance is very aggressive which is Zeus’s whole thing Namjoon: Dionysus (the god of wine and festivity) pretty obvious with ‘Dionysus’ playing and the Thyrsus

It really was an amazing performance, however (don’t get me wrong, I think BTS deserved every minute of that performance), but the MMA’s did Mamamoo so dirty, giving them only 4 minutes to perform as a group (shorter than even the rookie groups), and they were the only girl group to make it to the top 10 artists and ranked in 3rd place for other Daesangs. I really think this needs more attention #respectmamamoo
