I found BTS in 2014, after my son died. I no longer wanted to live. They saved my life. I am 68 years old, and will be "Silver Army" for the rest of my life. 50:05 - You were pondering on what it was about BTS that made that performance feel both exhausting and exhilarating at the same time... I have a theory. Bangtan has been on record many times saying that their live performances are gifts to ARMY... that it's their way of saying thank you for always supporting them and being there for them even when the whole world didn't believe in them... even when they didn't believe in themselves. And when you craft a gift of appreciation like that, it is carefully curated with all your love and good intentions and gratitude behind it. It's to convey a message that comes straight from their heart. That's why I think they always give it their all, leaving their heart and sweat and blood and tears on that stage because who knows when they will ever get to perform again in front of these exact people? For some, going to 1 BTS concert is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and if that is the case, wouldn't you feel the need to put on the best damn show you could muster? Idk, that's what I think anyway. I have so much respect for their work ethic and humbleness... I feel like there is almost this need to prove to ARMY that their support and devotion will not be squandered or taken advantage of. BTS is good that way...never forgetting where they came from, the people that got them where they are today, always giving back to those less fortunate, and never settling for the status quo regarding their work. Every time I listen to Mikrokosmos I get emotional and any time I watch one of their live performances of it I cry. Jimin’s solo dance stole the show imo! He was amazing! Iconic performance. It was the only solo dance that was live (meaning not pre-recorded). Poor Jimin he basically performed almost that entire 45 minutes.

Omg I've waited so much for this reaction!! So glad that you finally reacted to this one, and I'm sure this is just the beginning. Although this performance may be the best one from them, they have a looot of dope performances from previous years. This really puts you in perspective of how much we have to improve the western award shows. I've been in a wheelchair since I can remember, at least i could still move, sit and give a couple of steps with help, but not too long ago I had a hip surgery and I literally can't move without feeling pain and it's been so stressful and frustrating to me because I need more help to do things than before... THIS is why ARMYs get a little salty when we watch their western award shows, because we KNOW how hard they go, but western shows never give them the time/means to perform like this on their shows 😩 this year's Grammy performance was the first time I've ever gotten to see just the TINIEST bit of an actual BTS award show performance in the west, but we all still know how much they're being hindered at those shows. And they do too, and I haven't gotten to watch RM's live yet, but I DO know he's stated they all know exactly what goes on in western award shows (I had figured that already, though), and they don't care, they were there for their tour, not the Grammys, I love my bois 🤧 but yeah, they go crazy at their Asian award shows, and they're happy as long as we're happy 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 but yeah, this performance is INSANE. I can't remember exactly, but I think they said they practiced for 3-4 months for it? ALSO I'm not sure if anyone's said this, but just so you know the part with the horses was prerecorded, so the animals were all perfectly safe and not freaking out in front of a huge crowd 😊There were a couple other prerecorded parts, like Mikrokosmos, so they could run and get changed, and a few of the solo dances were also prerecorded, but if I remember correctly, people who were at the show said the members danced those live on stage as well, just without the effects (like, Jungkook did his dance, but without water) Have fun with other live performances! This made me want to watch one of their concert DVDs, and I'm off work tomorrow, so I'm totally going to aim to do so 💜

Yes their genuineness does come across in their music but once you actually get to know them, and you realise who they are as human beings, how they carry themselves, how humble and caring they are..it’s over you’re trapped for good 😂
