Life Goes On is about the pandemic. It's a little sad, but mostly hopeful, basically saying that we'll get through this. It's not very romantic 😄.

Melon is the most important song chart in Korea. Its a lot like the American Billboard charts. Melon Music Awards award chart achievements, same like BBMAs. Btw because of covid, all the performances on the MMA were pre-recorded. Hence BTS were able to do that costume switches and add VR to enhance their output. The vocals remained totally live. Life Goes On is not a love song. It's a pandemic song meant to comfort everyone. It is the first non-English song to debuy at #1 on Billboard 100 song chart.

Life Goes On is not a love song lol. BTS have made love songs in the past and still do on occasion, but a lot of the songs that sound like love songs aren't actually, or are dedicated to ARMY. Life Goes On is about the pandemic and the fans.

MMA 2019 IS A MUST

Mma 2019 is the GOAT of bts performances…. Please do that one!!! If you can… you will love it

MMA and MAMA are one of the biggest awards show in Asia. Specially, MAMA. MMA 2020 was special because of Cov*d. It was a lot of work and was amazing but I think MAMA 2016, MMA 2018 AND MMA 2019 are one of the best performances.

Here's a story; stumbling across Melon Music awards back in 2016 is the reason I'm a BTS fan. Melon is a major music awards show that is held annually in South Korea. It is like Billboard. It tracks music for charts. Then at the end of the year they have an Awards show.

So a few helpful bits based on your comments throughout the reaction 😊: - Melon Music Awards (MMA) is basically Asia's equivalent to the Billboard Music Awards show (BBMA) in America as an example; Melon charts = Billboard charts essentially. Also another major awards ceremony is the Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA). These are usually held near the end of the year and the performances outshine anything you've ever seen AND IT'S JUST AN AWARDS CEREMONY!!! There's an inside joke among armys that any awards show BTS perform at basically turns into their own concert LOL! But because of covid they had to perform these virtually; also there are some prerecorded segments/performances for outfits changes, set changes, etc that are usually shown during broadcasts and on large screens for those actually attending the event live. - Here are the past year's performances and it just hits so much different with a live crowd there! It revolves around the pandemic and looking forwarded to a brighter tomorrow where we can see each other again in person in concerts, etc. Definitely, highly, strongly recommend reacting to this MV for the message they send through their lyrics (so make sure captions are on 😆). There are some songs they've made that give off "love song" based on the titles and such vibes but these are usually directed more towards armys and have messages of self-love and empowerment (not the typical bublegum pop lovey-dovey songs). - In regards to Suga not being able to perform for A LOT of these performances it was due to him recovering from recent shoulder surgery (from a injury he obtained back in their predebut days). They ALWAYS made sure to leave a spot for him which showed how much they respect and missed him. Life goes on is about the pandemic where they express how even though life is hard right now everyone should remember how everything would be back to normal and everything would be fine as long as we're together. In the bit before the end v and jimin sang the part numerously (I remember) that means in this hard time we should not forget that life goes on.

Great reaction. FYI Life Goes On is not a romance song but a song about our emotions during the Covid crisis and how we must find joy in simple things and memories day by day as and end to the crisis is not within sight. Last November, it was number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for a week.

This is a classical version of Black Swan....Suga got the injury during trainee days..He was hit while delivering on a motorbike and crushed his shoulder..He has been enduring the pain till now..He finally had surgery💜

You would probably love the live "ON" at Grand Central Station on the Jimmy Fallon show. You will get lots of answers about the MMA's so I won't repeat, except to say the 2018, 2019 live versions are simply astounding; Billboard or AMA on steroids. (My favorite is the 2018) Thanks!

Would like to seen them react to like “no more dream” or “we are bulletproof pt 2” or maybe danger? Just one of the oldest ones and see the change lol also hope they’re watch “I need u” original version that’s 19+. They don’t have to watch the whole storyline but I think they’d be surprised with the dark very real struggle music videos. Maybe one day!!! If you do make sure it’s the 19+ version and again it’s pretty dark intense themes but the beginning of the bts storyline that rubs through their music videos and there’s a webtoon and other stuff that are pieces to the public .!

This is not one of the best MMA, maybe i am wrong, i think due to the pandemic they could not put a whole show like they usually do. MMA 2019 and 2018 are, so far, the most impresive ones.
