Oh Maaan I so wish you'd watched the MV too. I cried when I first saw it. The feature artist is Youjeen. She's the lead singer of the Korean rock band Cherry Filter. Youjeen usually doesn't do features (She's an older artist and I think she might have retired) but RM insisted it had to be her that she was the only one he wanted to do it and got her to accept. I agree with him her powerful vocals blend perfectly with his emotional poetic rapping style and create a beautiful masterpiece.
I would really recommend watching his Rolling Hall live concert of RM . his album Indigo is one of the most beautiful piece of art . all songs have so much soul and yet has vibrancy

My man NamJoon sought and insisted on collaboration with South Korean rock legend I or YooJeen Vocalist of the band Cherry Filter, there is a video of them singing this magic song, you should not miss the official MV either, which is impressive because RM shows us a part of Korean culture that foreigners We rarely have the opportunity to see and they are the gunpowder fireworks as part of a festival that is truly incredible!!!
Hi, I have a better performance with the actual feature live with RM singing. It's an awesome performance, and it's in a small venue with about 200 lucky ARMY's there. I think you should check it out. And there are English subtitles too. I would always check out ENJOY BTS MORE's channel first for BTS videos with subs, because she does an amazing job. Cho You-jeen is the lead singer of the South Korean Rock Band called Cherry Filter. Very famous in South Korea. BTS ARMY's were not allowed to bring in cell phones or cameras, or ARMY Bombs (Light Sticks). RM wanted an intimate and personal experience with ARMY's. INDIGO is genius and should really be listened to in order as the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. He uses a succession of genius collabs and every track a different genre. It surprises and delights. It is the diary of his 20s but also tells the story of these confusing times we have all lived through. It made my carefully curated cd collection because of my firm belief its a future cult classic. This live RM AT ROLLING HALL WITH YOUJEEN has both artists live. The mv is a thing of beauty you also need to read every lyric of Wildflower its poetry.
I know you are proud of what you are doing with your music so please give yourself more credit and not say it’s awkward for you to promote it on your channel!

Youjeen, the featured singer here is the vocalist for the Korean punk band Cherry Filter and apparently one of Namjoon's fav bands.. he sort of gave homage to her by asking her to be in this song. I'd recommend the Rolling Hills perf of Namjoon and some of his other featured artists in his Indigo album
FYI: Hobi describes this song and the album as Joon’s healing song on a Weverse Live and Hobi was the first person to hear the entire Indigo album before anyone else.
You can’t get the feel of this song unless you see the video. This song is a masterpiece and while this performance is good, when you understand the confessional lyrics he’s giving you with youjeen’s power voice, it’s impossible to really feel it…. Btw, love your song!!!
RM performed the entire indigo album at Rolling Hall and you can see that performance. He had a lot of features on this album and a number of those artists were there to perform with him, including Youjeen in this song. She is amazing and was/is the lead in a group called Cherry Filter. I love this song and the entire album for that matter. Glad you liked this one.

The concert at the Rolling Hall was the best! He performed in a small, historic venue for only 200 people. Back to his roots as an underground rapper. You should really check it out! You should also watch the Indigo Album Magazine Film where he explains his inspiration for every song and where the artists that are featured on his album talk about their collaboration. Both are on the Bangtantv chanel. But as always with BTS, the lyrics are super import, especially with this song, wich is so emotional. It made many ARMY cry...
Hands down these are some of the best lyrics Namjoon has ever written. It's so important to know what he's saying so I really suggest watching the actual mv with subtitles on or simply looking up the lyrics! Namjoon's never written a bad song but this one is up there as one of his top for me, I cry every time I hear it!

Oh, you really need to watch the video. I remember waiting for the video premiere. I found myself getting teary eyed watching the video, and tears streaming down my face by the end. He’s so open (all members are) but there was something so special about the storytelling of the video. You won’t be disappointed.
The whole indigo album is masterpiece! Talking about wildflower specifically.. Namjoon struggling dealing with fame and all its trappings, trying not to lose sight of himself while the whole world watches his every move. The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly." It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in prev work too Him wanting a life like a tranquil wild flower instead of a flashy firework that is quick to burn out. He always paints such a personal and powerful image.

There is another live performance with performer youjean, . RM held a concert on his album Indigo, in a performance hall that had been his dream, to sing in since early on. You should react to RM's live performance... FIRE!!! His sound has revolved and he has matured so much here. This is what he wants to display in his solo project. When he released this album, he wanted to keep it simple, low key, rather big with support, putting his truth out. More than anything, to perform in front of a small audience... his dream to do it from the beginning and finally get to perform at the Rolling Hall...one of biggest dreams. He has accomplished his dream. So beautiful and well deserved, such a legendary musician...
This this the more refined 10 year artist RM if you go back to his first solo tracks... Oh man. So much anger and passion in his rap. Definitely try his earlier songs, if only so you can hear the difference.

I have never been a rap lover until.......BTS! And Namjoons delivery grabs you! On his album Indigo he has a song Still Life featuring Anderson Paak. Absolutely my favorite!!! And this song of COS??? Oh my gosh!!! Thought your songs were so similar, but not with this one!!!And yes, Love WILL find a way!!!🥰
His Indigo album is just pure feelings. My favourites well pretty much the whole album but Lonely, Change part 2, Still Life and No. 2 are all along with wildflower at the top depending on the day. However, I have the entire album along with Mono on my playlists. Just depends on my mood which list they are on. My lists have a combination of BTS, RM,Jin a couple from each of the members solo works some past projects more than newer ones. Dimash and a combination of classical, doo wop and folk music lol. So it is an eclectic mix broken into moods

I love "Wildflower" - honestly his entire album "Indigo" was amazing. My absolute favorite Kim Namjoon live performance so far though is "Trivia: Love" from the Love Yourself era. Cute song, clever wordplay, very vibey. He owns the entire stadium and all he's doing is vibing and smiling, but it really made me appreciate Namjoon's stage presence in a way I hadn't always when watching group performances. Definitely worth a watch!
