Honestly I think if they were chasing I would just let them catch me if it was one person. If they caught me or whatever I'd try to talk to them. I literally had a sasaeng friend and I would say that “ it’s heartbreaking seeing the bagtang members in distress” and she would always get mad at me and say “ people just want to see their idols” and I get that but they are humans as well as us.

Besides, if you say “I love you/your work” loud enough, that could trigger saesangs who didn’t recognize them in the first place to start attacking them. And if there’s already a huge crowd that looks like it could get out of hand, instead of joining the mob, you should call security and come to the idol’s aid. Do what that one iconic Army did and instruct other fans not to touch them and stop screaming and chasing them. If idols are running away, they don’t want to play tag. They’re scared for their life.

(Edit)- in the live-stream for jhopes Birthday, at the door of their hotel room there is 3 sasaengs watching them. Screen shot of the sasaengs story showed them with bts’s door cracked open. They also stole jungkooks keycard and was jumping on his bed but they could have been in their own hotel room, but they did have pics of bts all in one hotel on the live stream. ekkk the whole thing freaks me out.
