Omg it's so true! Lol it's weird bc just this morning I had a long drive and Just One Day came on. It's honestly not even on the playlist I listen to most, but as it was playing I had a moment where I was like, huh, i know way more of the words to this than I realized 😂
You should watch the dance practice for "Just One Day"...RM does something that makes V laugh and he literally giggles through the whole dance. It's one of the cutest things. Don't worry about ending up as OT7. RM started off as my Bias, but I've ended up as OT7 because I love each of them for what they bring to the table and I can't pick a favorite anymore.

At that time or maybe still today, getting into these 3 universities was seen as a success and a great pride for parents. Where on the other hand students / children become very depressed about it (depression or to take a "fatal" decisions if they didn't made it).. Nb: it's like a habit in Asia, all parents will compare their child with which school/university they went to (top / favorite / most expensive). As an Asian, I also experienced this. 💜🙏🏻

In their Map of the Soul: 7 era, BTS consciously looked back to their roots, so songs from that album harkened back to their beginnings: Boy With Luv (Boy In Luv), ON (N.O.). We are Bulletproof: The Eternal (We are Bulletproof Pt 2). In their ON:E online concert, they performed remixes of songs from their early era as an acknowledgement of the hard work they did together as a team. You're right in seeing the difference in their energy as well as the "style" (not just the clothing) in the early MVs - they were tight, the choreo was on-point. They honed their craft by working their butts off. In their later MVs (Dynamite/Butter, etc.), reactors from their own agency noted that its their individual charisma as opposed to the tight choreography of their earlier MVs that are notable/prevalent and charming.

Baby Bangtan makes me endearingly fond of these fake miscreants. I love how temporarily soft they are for 'Just One Day' but the 'Just One Day' dance practice (Appeal version) is ridiculously funny.

If so you should watch to their lives : - Japanese songs : Crystal Snow, Film Out, Your eyes tell - MTV unplugged : Fix you (coldplay's cover), Blue & Grey - Armypedia - Magic shop, the truth untold, House of cards, make it right, life goes on, 00:00 (zero o'clock) - all their BBC radio 1 live : i'll be missing you (cover of Sting, P.diddy and Faith Evans), butter, dynamite and permission to dance. - And last but not least : their mini PROOF concert with a live band and backing vocals in the middle of the Las Vegas desert. They sang 3 songs : Born singer, Yet to come (with Anderson Paak at drums), For Youth. It was gorgeous : fantastic vocals, great live band, Amazing set. Their grooviest jamming session till now. In N.O. SKY is the abbreviation for the big 3 universities in Korea. The ones everyone is pressured to get into and the ones that are supposed to guarantee you successful careers after graduation.
You have to see the live perfomance they did of just one day in armypedia. The song is already beautiful but put against their matured and even more stunning vocals than they had in the past..honestly it's too amazing😭😢💜
• N.O is about korean education system or education system in general. U should watch 'THE RISE OF BANGTAN" fanmade serie, in it explains the meaning of complex songs like this (u can search in ur own if u want some info abt it, thats fine too). Was a normal topic for them on music talking abt education, school, dreams and young people. And with it, destroying the society concept with the lyrics. RM and SUGA told us abt their school times and how they had not dreams. Also, the "SKY" line is for the big three korean universities, a word-play. I really think Doolset will help u a lot for understanting lyrics like mostly of us who we are so lost and we were like: "seoul to the SKY? how he can goes to the sky?"😂😂😂 And for future reactions to, like i said, complex or deep songs like N.O, i recommend a lot DKDKTV explanations for the meanings. Because BTS have a lot of these songs that sound catchy, but have a completely different meaning, and if them are professional in something, is dissagree with society. I will give u some examples🤗 (because surely in the future u will react to these and miss the meaning for that, being catchy): • BAEPSAE, GO GO, SPINE BREAKER, UGH... 10:41 THIS LINE IS ONE OF THE BEST OF SUGA SO FAAAAAR. I dont want hate, but this is so true, more for some idol rappers in the industry. They rap because they cant sing, but its a waste of the title and position because their "rap" are just one catchy verse that their company give to them. Btw, i suggest before listeting to the songs, u read the lyrics off cameras, like that, u can enjoy the sound and the visuals better (i do it because its difficult to read, watch and listen at the same time if its the first time, HAHSH 😭😭)

I loved it when you said you haven't heard a BTS song you didn't like. That's exactly the way I felt when I first discovered BTS and I'm still amazed by the fact that there's not a single song they've done, individually or as a group, that I don't like. I've always said any music is enjoyable as long as it's done well and BTS is living proof of that. Regardless of the genre, regardless of your focus, whether it's the choreo, the dancing, the MV, the lyrics, the vocals, the rap, or the production, BTS aces it.
N.O. always just makes me think of Dionysus now, and the embarrassing amount of time it took me to realise they added in N.O. for the dance break section of Dionysus in the MMA 2019 performance you watched. I spent way too long wondering why it was so familiar.😅 WAB Pt2 is so good. It will always be a bop, and the choreo was great! Ah I remember when I saw the BIL MV the first time I was so confused with what they were doing, like boys why so aggressive in your pursuit? But then I started watching kdramas and I was like ah...that's what they were doing, every highschool kdrama romance trope. 😂I loved seeing them take it straight from BIL to BWL on that MMA stage, because it shows so clearly the musical and emotional growth and change. From this edgy possessive, juvenile, kdrama creeper vibe to the soft, happy, romantic, more mature idea of love. And JOD is so lovely. It's just so smooth r&b vibey and I love it. For suggestions I want to just list every song. 😅 But one of the songs from the Map of the Soul albums is on my suggested videos right now, so I go with that album, as it has some of my very favourite songs (they're all my favourite songs honestly it just depends on my mood). I don't think you've done Make It Right (gorgeous song, there's a remix with Lauv, but I do prefer the original), Friends (V and Jimin), Jamais Vu (Jhope, JK and Jin). Also from the Love Yourself albums Dimple (JK, V, Jin, Jimin....watch a live stage👀), Pied Piper (a song telling ARMY not to be too obsessed with them, while also being a song that fans went fcking feral over). Pied Piper has a live stage too and uploads definitely exist of a live stage of Dimple leading directly into Pied Piper. I'll stop now before I just list every track from every album.

Just one day was the first BTS song that I listened and still my fav. Their soft/chill side is what I like the most about them, R&B BTS is a masterpiece
What I love about the early material is that the rap verses are aggressive but the chorus are always very melodic and catchy so there is a good blend of edginess and pop vibe that makes it just right mix.
Bts have been making songs about important topics since debut! 99% of other groups earlier stuff is all about love, not saying that’s a bad thing, it just hits different having them talk about real things 👏
Boy in luv is young love...kinda aggressive, immature but passionate.....while Boy with luv is a poem for small things means love in simplest form...its like a fan letter of BTS to ARMY....💜
I would suggest you going through their album in chronological order. If you want to know BTS, you have to hear their music and musical evolution. You can do one album and then live performances of the songs of the respective album.

lol we have an inside joke about Taehyung wanting to be a rapper, he loves the rapline and he's their hypeman... we sometimes joke about a Cypher part 5 with V in it 😂 or that Taehyung achieved his dream when the rapline lets the vocal line rap their part
Ahhhh! Just one day is one of my absolute favorites! This song is so underrated. And yes, RM’s hair from that era is arguably the best in my opinion. You’ll see BTS making fun of his ice cream cone hair in some clips but I don’t care. It slaps!

I really appreciate that you don't go in blind, a lot of reactors seem very intent on that and I get it, you want your own appreciation for the song without any preconceived notions but, well I like when people are aware of a bit of the history. Like for Spring Day, you can go in and just absorb that it's a song about grief and loss but knowing about Sewol makes it heartbreaking. I find the bits and pieces you pick up on as you watch are really great by the way, like Tae flinging the glasses off when he gets "shot", hold on to that, you'll need it when you watch bulletproof the eternal! Boy in Luv and Boy with Luv are a pair. Same with N.O and ON Save Me and I'm fine too They like making songs answering/updating their feelings from previous songs. I hope you know what I mean.
If you love Just One Day, you have to listen to her sisters: Coffee, 24/7=Heaven, Embarrassed and Converse High. That old R&B, hip hop sound is all over their older albums. They're some of my favorites.

Their first three albums (2 Cool 4 Skool, O!RUL8,2?, and Skool Luv Affair) mainly talk about their experiences and views about school, dreams, and happiness. And also young love, esp on SLA. We all know how adults believe that in order to be successful, you have to have high paying jobs. And in order to have that, you have to drown yourself in school and always strive to be at the top no matter the consequences because in the end of all these suffering, you'll finally reach happiness once you get a big house or an expensive car. BTS then questions, will it really bring me happiness if I choose to be trapped in someone else's aspirations for me? Why do I need to suffer now to be compensated later, when I can become happy now, doing what I love, achieving my own dreams? (Everybody say NO!) 😆

YAY!! Hello SIR!!! Thank you for this throw back of BTS! With BTS's Music I never get out of my 90s ERA and Why should I? I love it there!!! I prefer their old songs to be honest as it's the ones I vibe too the most!! Dancing to Hip Hop and RnB 80s 90s were at it's BEST then! I was clubbin back then to greats such as - from Bel Biv Devoe, Dr Dre, Snoop, Heavy D, Beastie Boys, Jungle Bros, Fresh Prince, BG Prince of RAP and even Vanilla Ice hahaha to name a few!!! BTS remind me of those days that why I love them so much and at almost 58 years old I am living my life enjoying this music and time while I can!! Thank you again for another great reaction!! yes some of their tracks have similar names, it can be confusing, remember don't get confuse with RUN and RUN BTS and BTS RUN, they are all different, two of them are songs and the last one is their reality show. 😊

I don’t think Anitra or Caitlyn watch “rise of bangtan” but I really think it’s something that you’d like bc it’s chronological of their journey that was put together by some army and all the behind the scenes of them getting ready to debut and comeback with these songs and what they were doing and going through at the time and why these songs and stuff. It’s beautiful and there’s like 20 45 min episodes and a lot of their earlier music and why it’s so against their society is for a very good reason… and they always made music with a message to help others in their culture who were being forced into the education machine that lead to South Korea having the highest suicidal rate for 10-19 year olds in the world… and the pressure and expectations were a lot of the reasons for that drastic action… they always spoke about topics taboo to their culture and country… and the push back against them… makes a bit of sense bc they were going against a culture that is very strict and against this type of expression… but they kept going and found their way in… making music they related to and never stopped being a voice ti the youth around the world 💜
I want to recommend Armypedia to you which is a live performance of Just One Day, No More Dream, and I Like It (which you heard a little bit of in the Festa Room medley). It's a chill RnB style performance that I think you'll love. And good live vocals of course. Tae definitely would love to be involved in a rap line song, he's a huge rap line stan. They've done a couple of performances where vocal line takes on rap line parts and he absolutely loves it. Bless him, it's just not his number one skill 😊 Did you end up watching Hobipalooza?

I totally relate to your confusion. I'm OT7 - but I have a bias line. And J-Hope is wrecking me hard right now with his Jack In The Box ERA. Lollapalooza just did me in. I've watched it all the way through five times now, and I listen to Jack In Box every time I'm driving. And I can't get enough of his rap at Lolla for Hangang (Korean for Always), and yeah, my husband is an angel for putting up with me and my BTS obsession. When RM's album comes out, I'm going to lose it. J-Hope said at the concert to ARMY's, he was looking out at the sea of ARMY's with ARMY bombs and he said "You guys are fucking crazy" and he is absolutely right. We are crazy for Bangtan Sonyeondan. By the way, I hated rap before listening to Blackpink Lisa, but when I found BTS, and heard Daechwita, I was intrigued, and one by one, the rap line got me to fall in love with HIP HOP. Pretty high standards though, BTS are on another level in my eyes, with their lyricism, charm, cadence, etc...That was it. They just...over all BTS I fell for. 2020 Silver ARMY here.
