The guy from forever in your mind got roasted BY HIS OWN FANS WHO LIKE BTS TOO. He came out on twitter or IG trying to apologize, it was a whole mess. The lead singer who he kept talking over actually likes BTS and is a pretty cool guy.

I’m a 70 yr old woman & I’ve had plenty of opportunity to become a boy band fan. Didn’t happen - not with the Beatles, New Kids On The Block, NSYC. Actually other than the Beatles, I didn’t much like boy bands. It took one mv, “Dope”, in 2016 & my rabbit hole all occurred. And it hasn’t stopped. IntoThisBangtanShitForLife.

“One member of BTS has more talent than all of you combined” - the truth uttered on a microphone & repeated twice is the main highlight for me. Army loves you Landon! Oh my... the video made me so upset (not the narration but the content) Thank you for defending BTS and for being witty, Landon. You helped me survive this video without throwing my phone to the wall. I knew there were racism in the industry but this is my first time looking at the details. Those ppl are so blatantly racist, without shame. Now I think of BTS more highly bcuz on top of making great music n performances, BTS gotta fight with that kind of shitty racism that exist in their industry and they made it this far. So heartbreaking... We gotta stay strong.

When I first watched this video essay, I was livid, Landon, LIVID at the xenophobic rhetoric and racist mockery of the guys! But as they say, Karma is an ARMY. We got the last laugh. We in this BTS shit for life indeed and those nobodies are nowhere to be seen. I am so proud of the success Bangtan had even in times of great hardship for them and the rest of the world and I hope that their love and light continue to keep ARMY going for a long time to come. I loved your reaction. I am a 70 year old 8th generation female American. Seven year ARMY. I haved watched these young men grow up. What a story! Never a fan of these other boy groups...or girl groups for that matter. I did watch The Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show on our b&w TV. They were a game changer, but they were not BTS. I am not a fan or Western rap, but when BTS raps, it sweeps me away. Not understanding every word is such an ignorant excuse. My old 2 cents worth.

BTS, when they don't have choreography to their song their choreography is still better than yours. Love it!! 💜

And yeah that group on Sang. Karma. Cause BTS' is reserved for open minded or intelligent or thoughtful or all those qualities and more. They didn't get to the top by talking about other groups not cutting it they worked their butts off and remained kind and humble. And gave the open minded smart "American speaking" folks depth in music we craved

BTS is immensely talented, authentic, charismatic and truly good hearted people. This is why fans all over the world love them. Everyone thinks they can just recreate BTS.......bands like BTS doesn't come around every other year, perhaps once in a generation. The last time we saw a band with this type of world wide impact & domination was about 60 years ago...The Beatles. BTS and The Beatles are two of the greatest bands ever.

He he you are funny 😅😂. I'm a 51yo mom with 3 teenage daughters. I've seen a lot of artist from the 70's until now but none sparks my interest to know the band members. Dunno why 😅 but I recognise each and every member if BTS by heart. That's how much their impact is. I love boracity magazine...i opens my eyes how corrupt the music industry is. I don't care what others said, BTS has fans all over the globe. I admired the group that singing in their native language n in subtitle it tells stories n it is meaningful. JEALOUSY is mostly what happen here. The boys are fine n can't wait to see them finish their Military Services n back to the stage.. music brings people together n that is what it counts in my opinion.

This attitude about the lyrics not being in English really annoys me. It's such an entitled way of thinking...like so many people around the world don't speak English as their first language or at all and we still listen to English and "American" songs from childhood on without understanding the lyrics. It doesn't really matter...if you want to understand the message of a song there are ways to find out and if you just want to vibe that's fine too, but can we stop this rediculous argument about the language being the factor of success.

It was actually just that one dude from forever in your mind that talked bs, the other two were actually quite supportive of bts but that was cut out. And I'm so glad that it was Liam who said that about our boys. I was a big 1D fan back in the day and it feels so good to have these two worlds connect. Until now the 1D boys had only good things to say about bts which I love because they got so much shit thrown at them when they were at their peak as well

I've been a fan of boy bands long before I was a fan of kpop. In fact, it was my already growing fascination with boy bands that drew me into kpop to begin with. So I am actually familiar with all the bands in this video. I just want to say, that one dude in "forever in your mind" is a total dick but the dude sitting on the far right didn't agree with anything he said and was hyping BTS when he could. I don't want all 3 members to be seen as BTS haters when it was just that 1 guy. Also, prettymuch and new hope club are very talented and have covered and collaborated with kpop bands in the past. They don't care that they share the space with BTS and kpop, they are fans themselves.

😢 there once was a world that had taste and culture and appreciated music for the pleasure that was received when listening to it, people would go to the theatre to watch a non English speaking performance, they called it opera, when beautiful voices were applauded and the story was told by tone and emotion. To me, BTS is the new version of opera, I went to the ‘movie theatre’ just the other day to watch them, in fact the only time I have been to the movies in 10 years minimum has been twice, both times to see BTS. These wonderful young men have talent leaking from their pores, they draw you in to having to watch everything that they do, music or otherwise, they bring laughter to your life and brighten your day. I have heard the occasional boy band group on the radio but their music did not make me want to look into them further, it was background noise to me, but if BTS should be playing I will feel happy inside and sing, hum along and smile. Good luck to the wannabes that come running behind them, you have a lot to live up to, but sadly, I don’t think you will succeed, no matter how much money is thrown around to help you. The group call Why Don't We was one of my the first boyband I listened to and became a fan of. I remember listening to all their music but that was it, I only watched one interview of them for the first and last time. However, bts had me in a chokehold. I knew who bts was in 2019, the first song I listened to was fake love. I wasn't a fan, more of a causal listener but then stopped. In 2020 black swan was recommended to me but I told myself to watch it later (never did). The same year I started listening to Why Don't We but then I started to get bored of them. In the beginning of 2021 I heard dynamite play in the radio and I saw that it was bts and I knew who bts are. Later in the day I watched the dynamite mv and then fake love, not today, etc. Slowly I listened to dynamite everyday and other songs like fake love, idol, dope, anpanman, gogo. Before I knew it I became a fan. I wish I got into bts earlier but this is how it turned out. They came to a point in my life that was boring and repetitive, they made me happy and enjoy life again.

I used to stan the JoBros back in the day (contrary to many, they're actually good performers - although BTS are untouchable in that department obviously) and lucky for my army heart they always hyped bts and had nice things to say about the tannies, but that makes sense bc, contrary to some of these groups who barely get along and are just thrown together, the jobros are literal brothers so even if they fight bc of work they still gon have to pass each other a plate during family dinner lol, so I feel like first of all they respect bts dynamics as they know it's hard af to keep a group together even when you're literally related. I remember Nick talking about going to the Rosebowl concert and saying he was impressed with how the boys managed to do both group and individual songs. That probably resonated with him like "so you CAN do BOTH group and individual stuff at the same time" bc lack of space for individually is, if I remember correctly, what made them break up the first time. Even when Joe got asked about who he thought was doing great or something he and his wife were like "bts are the best". Now that dude from FYIM... gotta check my blood pressure bc DAMN he was SALTY. God that clip always makes me cringe so hard to this day bc like how was he not EMBARRASSED as soon as the words came out of his mouth like did you legit just say that sht in front of a camera "there needs to an american or european boy band" yikes just say you know you can't compete and go 😖 it was like a trainwreck, dude just kept dragging himself more and more into the mud with each jealous/xen0phobic/r4cist comment like? 😭 I'd never show my face anywhere ever again, but well I don't say stupid sht like that so it could never be me.

The whole "sounding like a girl" comment I think is a compliment and illustrates their jealousy because it shows BTS's vocal range, the fact that they are so talented that almost all the member's can easily sing in both the male and female register. I just have to add that the three guys on Zacks show made livid the first time I watched this. Then the next time I became even more livid for the total disrespect to fans everywhere. To questions our intelligence just because someone is singing In a different language like there’s no way in this day and age for us to look up the meaning of anything that in a different language. 3:50 point still stands... BTS is not signed to a US label, Hybe America acquired Migos' label but Big Hit Music remains as independent ever since they fell under Hybe Corp. And they are now majority shareholders in SM too.. But BTS their contract is BH music. The biggest change that impacts BTS is their US distribution deal with Geffen (UMG) And Bang stepped down as CEO maybe about a year ago already, he remains the Chaiman tho! That being said thankssss for the reaction!!!💜💜

I don't really understand where all the hate for BTS is coming from, when all they ever did was work hard and focus on their music. They never dissed anyone (if they ever did, maybe except those who dissed them first). After all the fame and awards BTS have achieved, they never behaved like those ignorant and arrogant "boys" in the video--belittling other groups who also love music, are working on their dreams and are making people happy with their songs. All BTS ever wanted, and still want, was to make music and share it with those who love them. I wish you all just focus on that instead of competing with your peers. I got emotional seeing again all the hardships that BTS went through, but knowing that despite all that, they have succeeded and are succeeding still. IT MAKES ME VERY PROUD TO BE AN ARMY (FOR LIFE). Well said. I am shocked that there is so much prejudice out there where music (or any of the arts) is concerned. I foolishly thought that people would appreciate talent no matter what. I am wrong. I was aware that many of the award shows look down on BTS (and I assume talent from other cultures) but I foolishly thought that musicians would appreciate talent from whatever Country/Culture or Gender the musician is from. So angry and upset.

I've never heard of JLS either, but they can at least dance in a reasonably coordinated fashion. Having grown up on (European) classical music, I feel very justified in mocking the interview dude who "can't get behind" music that's not in "American."

Since their debut, BTS were underestimated and discriminated all the time. They started off in small company which didn't have money to promote them properly or take down hating comments and hashtags. Media ignored them a lot, many other artists said terrible things about them as we saw in this video as well. And yes, DESPITE all of that they are the biggest boyband in the world. I think many people are tired of "perfect image", they crave for something kind, pure, but raw and real. That's why BTS made it but all those other bands didn't. I don't think Simon will ever understand it since he's arrogant person, but that's okay. We have our BTS and I have to say in kpop there are also other groups which work hard and deserve our attention. Btw. where I live many ppl have no idea who BTS or any kpop group are. I face various reactions when I say I listen to kpop because the only song they know is Gangnam Style. But when ppl ask me why I tell them I chose kpop over western pop music because western pop music is too vulgar and sexist to me. I can tell you, people don't know how to react to that 😂
