So many reaction channels don't actually pay attention to the lyrics, especially with BTS' earlier music. You'll definitely notice how they develop lyrically over the years, but they had things to say right from the start. Greatly appreciate your attention to details 👌
OMG, yes, BABY BTS!!! They are such kids here, JK being only 15, but you could already see how eager they are for the stage and how they put everything in their performance. They‘ve grown so much from their debut and have come a long way. Still ARMYs have a soft spot in their hearts from BTS’ early performances 🥹 My purple heartu … 💜💜💜
They were kids here so its very cool but endearing at the same time how much faith they had in themselves from the start. Live performances of this, especially from after they blew up globally, are always 10/10
Wow! Kudos to you that you did jot give up on toxic fans... Congratulations. This is the BTS of the 3rd generation of KPop industry in 2013-2014, starting to revolutionarizing the KPop music industry at that time into what it has become today (4th KPop Generation like Stray Kids, TXT, Enhypen, 17, Ateez, Treaaure and more. Although, there were many super talented groups who came before them but BTS totally changed the entire industry with their unique sounds, lyrics and hard core choreography while singing, not to mention that they all sing and dance and no one has smaller role.
Yes, Frankie, they were very young and the task of performing well live and the expectation of the future... nothing was easy, but they were always hardworking and determined. We love the 7, for their talent and for this trajectory, from a small beginning to being the biggest band on the planet!
Bulletproof pt2 was actually their 2nd single that came out after No More Dream from the album/ep called 2 Cool 4 Skool. Bulletproof pt2 is longer than the time slot they were given so the performance you watched is an abbreviated version but they do have an official MV for both of these tracks.
Appreciate your take on this! Imagine if they could remaster those classics putting in the sounds you mentioned! They’ve come so far indeed! What was so compelling was really their passion….even if they were a small company and the young bts themselves putting in the beats, lyrics, etc. So cool and hardworking!
Thank you franki and yes they are young but look at them they are very talented. I am happy that you started watching their songs and albums and I recommend you to watch their MMA and shows 💜💜💜🫰🏻 BORAHAE
So happy that you are talking of the lyrics take in minf at that time most of the Kpop songs where nonsense lyrics like babadoo babadam they changed so many things in the Kpop industty
Baby BTS is so fun! They’re so hungry to make it and all in every performance. They talk about how PD Bang would go frame by frame and if they didn’t match every body part and even eye gaze, they had to redo it during practices. It’s why they’re so great on stage. They said they didn’t want put new recordings of old songs on their 10th anniversary album-PROOF, because they couldn’t reproduce the angst and desperation of their youth performances. So accurate. 🥹🥹🥹
They couldn't get spots on these shows due to the company being small and having no clout... so the nerves were seriously high - they needed to do perfectly to get the chance to debut... They just worked harder from here... but with more hate and grief on the way....
I have been watching your BTS reactions from the start and honestly I was a little put off (that’s just the teenage ARMY in me lbvvs) so I am so so so tickled pink that you are now connecting with the struggle these kids faced…. despite it all, the talent they still manage to share with the world is undeniable and somehow resonates with millions of people because we all have varying burdens that we shoulder and we need these messages of hope….you are in for such a journey and I, myself, am still discovering new things every day…. I will say my favorite songs are ‘Paradise’, ‘Tomorrow’, and ‘Black Swan’….these songs kept me going after I had a medical setback….Keep going!!!! 💕💖💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💖💕
It wasn't supposed to be like that, haha, but I got hit with a FULL Territory block for the original video, so I had to blur it if I wanted you guys to see this reaction. My wife figured it would not pick up the TV's so I left it to try. And it worked!! 😁
I really love watching you loving watching them. you should see the biggest grin on my face watching this reaction. love you for making me happy. thank you haha
I think you would really appreciate the American Hustle Life series. They sent BTS, at the beginning, to LA to learn about hip hop from Warren G and Coolio. It’s a little hard to watch but ultimately good for them. Rm and Suga already knew a lot about it, but the company wanted to make sure they knew enough to do the culture justice. Another good series is the Rise of Bangtan. It has a lot of info that is hard to find now. It was put together chronologically and you really come away feeling like you experienced it with them. Ck it out! Ty so much. 59 yr old Army from Portland Oregon. ❤
@@frankiebiggz Warning, many ARMY can't watch it, because it was scriped to bully BTS and it is painful to watch. (Were I mentioning in some other video somethnig about systematic sabotage from companies with money? No, surely not..?) People who were part of it then have later said that they were clearly told how they should act without them understandin the cultural differences (so they would insult BTS what they would do and say) and BTS would struggle with the cultural differences way more than the had to... :( Also I've been claimed by people who were fans then and _were there_ (no spoilers ARMY probably knows that I'm talking about with "sold out" ) that BTS were lied many time though the series to make them worry and stress way more than necessary.. I hate that series - I have tried to watch it twice and I just break out crying in such a powerless rage, for the kids that BTS are in a foreign country without knowing the language there.. :=( I was 14 when I moved into Spain without knowing the language. If I was then made to go through half of what BTS was made to do in " ' Hustle Life" I probably would have been broken as a person. You remember how White Paper Project was 133 pages of hard undisbutable historical facts to protect BTS? - We are like that. We always come with proof. People saying they were told to act certain way - we have the "white papers" for it." I'm saying if something is my personal opinon. But if I say we, I have seen the "white papers" of it. then there is rumors that are things that I have not been able to verify. Well also have lots of fake facts floating - picture with text "Hobi did not get any gifts" is one that that is my pet peeve. When I have seen several times people who claim to _been_ present_ that picture has taken after Hobi's gift basket was emptied first because it came first full. (I'm not claiming he got most gifts that fanmeet, maybe his were just in bigger packets, I don't know, I don't care - I choose to be more positive. I choose to believe they all have always been loved equally.) Which one we choose to believe - with other related proof that I have collected I'm choosing believe the claims from people who claim to been there.. Rather than people posting that picture of empty basket and starting to whine how "Hobi has always been looked down" - when he has not. (I'm not listing here, but he's not. From the day one, he was not.) I should write a book of 133 pages about the Hobi basket incident.. Now I'm going to write conversational essee about how they are just perfect men, for my writing course tomorrow.. Maybe it will be 133 pages long.. I'm already on my second page and have just written few short points about RM .. Maybe I should mention how he takes his plumtree with him to vacations.. Man that does not bring you a flowers, but shows his love for a whole tree.. * sob *
BTS when they first started were so Iconic! They changed the face of KPop with their own take and incorporation of the East and West Coast style, Boom Bap and Hip Hop Beats. These babies were in their teens and were trail blazers right from the start. BTS is all about their Lyrics, instrumentation, dance, rap and vocals which is top tier from the beginning. The way Jimin did the aerial flip over JHope and also when JK carried him to do the mid air kick touching the member's shoulders. They had Swag and were Dope! Glad that you are starting right from the beginning, please react to the song called DOPE!
Tenho achado a trajetória deles incrível.
Ahhh, obrigado! Hope I can help you with your English while I am having fun reacting to these guys and getting to know them! Thank you so much for your comment!
I'm not sure if anyone has recommended this before but there is a fan/ARMY made docu-series called Rise of Bangtan here on YT that I would highly recommend you checking out. While it is fan made, the ARMY who spent years putting it together is actually a professional editor and they did a fantastic job. There are 21 chapters + deleted and bonus scenes (they really all need to be watched bc even in the deleted/bonus videos there is soooo much to learn from). But it takes you right from the beginning of BTS being formed, but also gives a greater context of the kpop industry and Korean culture itself.
Thank you for your reaction. I'm glad to see your journey in discovering BTS. You might also want to watch The Rise of the Bangtan...Ms Aneesa, the creator is an ARMY, made an in-depth video about the Kpop industry, the backstory of BTS an their journey.
Well here I am again I'm enjoying going down this journey with your reactions! I started with my journey with BTS when I saw a fan cam of V in the video "Boys With Luv" I couldn't believe what I was seeing had never seen K-pop before. I watched it several times and then started my journey in 2018 of watching BTS. What is incredible to me is there still songs that I haven't heard along the way. You will never get bored because they have so many songs it's unbelievable. Anyways thank you again for your reactions and I do so appreciate it!
I love that they had a message right from the start and that was actually one of the things their boss Bang PD required; that their music must contain their own thoughts and stories. That's definitely not the norm in K-pop but then again, they've never exactly been known for conforming to the norm. 😅 They've even taken some pretty big risks with their careers politically speaking in what we sometimes forget is a fairly new democracy, as of 1987, and let's just say that some old practices are hard to overcome. (If you want an excellent example try Spring Day, aka 'the queen', and the explanation video by Italian ARMY: "What You Still Don't Know About BTS Spring Day" but please be aware that it deals with a national tragedy involving children. Tissues will be needed. It has however also remained on the SK charts nonstop for seven years so far, the only song to ever do so.) Since you've started with "baby BTS" as we call their early years, you'll probably also be able to discover how much their live voices have changed over time, as well as their images. In fact, their voices have changed (and improved) so much that these earliest songs can actually be quite difficult for them to perform. Considering that Jin as the oldest was 20 and JK as the youngest was only 15, nature has of course also had a lot to say in that regard; with a few cute "cracks" here and there. 😂 And don't worry, you're doing great. Or to quote Jimin: "You nice, keep going." 😂👍 💜
E as letras têm profundidade.
Love the reaction.. I'm happy to your excitement. 2:01 The dancing break, it was J Hope, Jimin and JK. 9:07 yeah it's cool.. It was Jimin and JK. They’ve carried deep meanings in each and every song over the years. They are amazing live performers. All of them did a great job in their first performances. You’ll notice their gradual growth through videos. Also, JK rapped in early BTS songs. he did it in both tracks. I hope you will react to Music videos as well. Thanks for the reaction.
You deserve so many more subscribers. The genuine respect and admiration you show BTS is beautiful and appreciated. Thank you so much 🙏🏼💜 Also, I absolutely love how you read the comments and react to each of them. As an ARMY, I can tell you that we really do notice that and are grateful 💜💜💜
Aww, thank you so much! I like to read you all and for you to know I do. I do it first thing in the morning with my coffee and before I go to bed. It relaxes me, specially now that the hate has gone way down!! 💜
@@frankiebiggzyou may always get some hate unfortunately. But I’m so glad it’s settled down. I myself get it in some of my comments - even when I’m just praising the members (especially Jimin for some messed up reason) 🤷🏻♀️💜 But I can tell you are resilient and tenacious so ignore the haters and embrace all the love because we have a lot of love and appreciation for you!! Thank you again 💜
Its very New York. RM's biggest artistic influence is Nas, so that might have been the cause of the sound. They did their own thing over it, but the beat kind of reminds of NY state of mind.
I’m excited to watch you go on this journey of seeing these youngsters with dreams turn them into reality. But you also see them grow as humans and question all the things that youth question. Their songs/lyrics make you stop and think, self reflect. I can’t think of another band that can do that in multiple songs and albums. You can tell as you listen to their musical journey that they love music, all genres and appreciate their differences. Keep checking out their lyrics, because the musical harmonies to come are so amazing, you might forget they have a message. More than other idols who only talk a big game in their songs. Anyway, thanks for putting up with the haters. Ignore, delete, and continue. In the words of our wise Namjoon: just live your life. (From song Mic Drop, inspired by Barack Obama).
Hi, I'm 61 year old ARMY from Germany 💜 I'm really happy to see you have come to love these guys 😊 After having done a little bit of research, I guess you know why ARMY is so protective... And some are crossing lines they shouldn't 😢 I apologize, you don't deserve getting threats - real ARMIES would never be disrespectful. It's just the case, that we are careful with criticizing newbies - will they be haters, will they try to put BTS down - or will they be new fans 🤔 Anyway, I don't try to excuse those who cross the lines! They should be ashamed doing so! I like your reactions and your honesty - and I love your cat 😊💜 Just one thing: You said V looked "bitchy" - as many ARMIES from other countries are no native english speakers (nor am I), the translation can cause some trouble because of misunderstanding. So, maybe you could keep in mind to point out the real meaning behind some local vocabulary. Borahae 💜
Keep going Will be looking out ..best of luck and enjoy the long journey ..by the time they comeback in 2025 , you might not yet done with their many old contents..
Will be at your live I think is going to be same time that the Formule 1 race I really love Formula 1 but will mamage to be at the live. You should check to understand in some level the Boracity video why is the industry Terrified of BTS in other ocassion See U later!! +
@@frankiebiggzif you do watch it remember it’s came out after the rappers and Jimin had released their first albums, but BEFORE V and Jung Kook released theirs so their stats are not in the video. (we are still waiting for she Jin’s) Also, Billboard changed the way they calculated things again a week or so before JK release his album. They said they would no longer count digital sales from some platform (I can’t remember) which is how historically many international ARMY purchased their digital BTS music. So, here are just a few important facts that she could not have included because they hadn’t happened yet. JK’s debut album had over 1 Billion streams before it was released. This is because his very first song broke Miley Cyrus’s record for the fastest song in history to get 1 Billion streams (it is now less than 103m away from 2 Billion). Even with very little radio play and them changing the rules right before JK’s release, he still became the first Asian to get a Billboard all-kill, and just this week he became the only KPop soloist to have multiple songs get 1 Billion streams. My point isn’t to say JK is more successful than others. I’m just pointing out that the video can leave wrong impression if you aren’t aware that JK and V hadn’t released their albums. V also broke records. They all have. V and RM were just named to Billboard’s honorable mention for 2024. V for R&B and I think RM for rap.
Hi, will there be one video for BTS every week? Tomorrow there will be no video? & Please listen to BTS songs in Japanese because they are amazing. Listen to the song 'Your Eyes Tell' and also the song 'Film Out.'🙏💜
Every week! AYS on Friday, music reaction on Sunday and some other guide as well. Finding the flow for everything with my job is kinda difficult, I hope you guys forgive me for not being able to post everyday, wish I could!! 💜💜💜
@@frankiebiggz We appreciate it and we know you have a life and work outside of YT and we love that you love BTS's music and are excited about the videos of your reaction to their songs and concerts.. 💜 Loved the schedule and we will be excited. Thursday will be the last episode of AYS so I hope and recommend that Friday be a day to watch BTS performances and their performances on stage LIVE like: MMA 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020.. and also BTS performance at the grammy, And in Jimmy Fallon,.. You will enjoy it so much and you really won't believe your eyes. And Sunday yes BTS's music is the best 🫰🏻💜💜
@@frankiebiggz Thank you and you are the best RU-vidr for me 💜☺️ Please make Friday special and ARMYs will love your reaction to BTS live shows and concerts because you haven't seen anything yet and it will be useful to watch these shows and you will get to know the members and their talents more 💜☺️🙏
No not all of us like that -- maknae line is way under age there.. Nope. I would rather they wear clothes on until they actually are in the age where they then can decide it themselves and not be told by company to get a body where they can show their sixpack and to look "sexy" as an underage. And Big Hit is one of the safest company these days to be a fan of, with their artist treatment but.. Then they were finding their steps.. And there were some missing stairs along the way.. :/ Like the manager that physically hit the children >:( Who got then fired, and there has never been such a thing anymore.
I think she's talking about that guy who was their manager and he beat Jungkook and V and forced Jungkook to carry a lot of heavy bags when they were kids! Yes, a lot of managers are crazy and bad, so Jungkook and V are the two members who have the most problems with the company. I remember V saying: “We had a lot of discussions about whether to renew our contract or not. Jungkook and I talked and cried together. We shed a lot of tears during that time.”@@frankiebiggz
@@frankiebiggz We have a ancient potato quality level video where in the early days (I'm personally not even sure which side of their debut this was! I came in the family 5-6 years later!]) they walk in line into building I think, and one of their managers is beside there like holding the door or something and either hits baby-JK, or atleast tries - and not in the joking way! - and baby-JK flinches away. I'm sorry if the details are wrong, because I can't watch that clip often, so it's been a while, it makes me feel so horrible. any way that video of course caught fans eyes and they rised noise about it and the manager was fired. But if the company had not made the "mistake" leaving that moment on video nobody outside of the company would have known :=( And this was the culture in all K-pop.. Staff saw that happen and nobody of the staff's adults stopped or reported that person, before fans made noise. Was it really that normal to staff abuse children trusted in their care ? Disgusting ! Makes me so angry. >:( It is better these days, ( I have to believe in that, or my heart can't take it.) but what happens in those worse companies still behind the closed doors ? I can't be a fan of other companies groups because I can't trust most of the other companies.. I'm not even thinking about how there is now this gaslighted girl group under HYBE's own roof that they are now trying to save from the gaslighter.. And the girls (and their families!) are fighting against saving, because they believe this gaslighter is on their side, when it is the opposite. I'm worried at which point the situation becomes more troublesome than worth (right now it is a incredible embarassment and huge moneypit, this whole circus) and when they just make sure that gaslighter - and/or the girls (with their families) - can't even come near entertainment industry in South Korea and that cleans the whole mess. :=( That gaslighter drops the girls instantly when they are worth 0 pennies.. Now I think the gaslighter think they can take the girls and put up another company or go into another big company with the girls and make them stars.. :=( This also affects BTS in many levels, even as it is just the same umbrella company HYBE and other sub company all together. I don' want even to name the other sub company because I hate their name - I have always felt they took the name (one letter difference) certain former HYBE producer (That ARMY Loves, because they worked years and years with BTS) that vent solo artist around the same time this other subcompany was set up.. And especially this pulling the subcompany's (too-much-alike) name into all of the rag paper media currently - what is it doing to the former producers almost identical name? Personally I even for the longest time I though this sub company was that former producer's or it was put up so that she can work under there shooting up like a star she is. And i thought this girlgroup was just in the same company with her, because of The (T-M-L) Name. Also that would been smarter move skipping hiring the gaslighter into HYBE all together in the first place.. Only this circus and a show, that we did not want to buy tickets to, but are forced to watch, finally set me correct on this former producer/subcompany name thing - that they have Nothing to do with each other ! But I'm just being salty here.. I wanted to see that former producer soar up there besides BTS in her solo career - because she is so darn talented. I love her voice.
