BTS YET TO COME | REACTION 

To be honest, Yet To Come wouldn't be my first suggestion for a first time BTS reactor. The song and mv are beautiful, no doubt about that. But in a way it feels kind of intimately dedicated to the fans. Like a song for someone who's known BTS and their journey for it to have the impact it intended. It wouldn't be as impressive for a first time listener to be honest. What I highly recommend though is to watch their live performance of their song 'RUN BTS' for their 'Yet To Come in Busan' concert. You will be thoroughly impressed with what they can bring to the table as artists and performers. They are phenomenal.

There's around 70M ARMY, fans of BTS around the world. If there is just 1% of them that are toxic it's still a lot of people. Don't worry about the negative comments, real ARMY is a positive group of all ages and gender. BTS had a free concert in Busan in october. You should definitely watch a live performance. They are amazing on stage and full of energy. Unfortunately, there won't be any concert until 2025 as all the members have to serve 18 to 24 months in the army. It's mandatory in South Korea for all male have to serve in the army before they turn 28, if I'm not mistaken. Jin, the oldest of the group will be enlisting by the end of the year. The others will follow one by one. Good luck on your channel. 💜

To be completely honest between black swan and this song this one is still my favorite so far. I know I don’t completely understand the journey but you know it’s bad when your showering and lyrics keep popping up in your head 😂 legit I had to meditate this song out

Thank you for your reaction! There's no such "K-pop culture": K-pop is an industry and BTS are distant cousins of that industry. The first rapper you asked about is Suga (Min Yoongi). Yet to come is a beautiful ballad, but I feel it's a bit of an impermeable song to non-ARMYs. I'd recommend 2021 Room Live Festa by BTS.

This song was gift to Army(fans) . They reference a lot a their videos. You might try Guide to Bangtan7 by Taylor. They are their own genre.

You were probably thinking of "Touch The Sky" by Kanye. I would say this is more of an interpolation, but I appreciated the nod. Thanks for the reaction! BTS could be considered bigger than kpop cause of the way they switch style and vibes in all of their music. Yet to come has a very different vibe than regular kpop songs. It contains a message since it’s personal to BTS’s career. If you start watching more music videos from BTS and than rewatch Yet To Come’s music video, you’re gonna be able to see the deeper messages both in the lyrics and in the video itself. K-pop is not Korean pop. In fact K-pop is not a single genre at all. K-pop was first given to Korean popular music by the Western world, go figure. The kpop category includes many genres. Rap, hip-hop, EDM, R&B, ballad, Latin pop to name a few and BTS does them all.

I cant believe no one has recommended this yet lol, but you should DEFINITELY check out their performance of “Run Bts” from their latest concert “Yet to come in Busan” it’s an amazing performance, amazing song, and it really shows how talented they are on stage

For the record, you were right the first time. j-hope is swaggy. Suga once said that j-hope is in charge of BTS’ swag. Haha. Shorts and all. 😂

Just to put it out there. The clothes they have on are throw backs to earlier songs. These guys have been doing their thing for almost 10 yrs now so some of their fits are meant for very young men, of which they are no longer. The youngest was only 15 (international age) when they started, so they wore shorts at the beginning to show just how young they were. As they were the only group in their agency at the time all that clothes was saved by the agency so that this song that is about all their songs in a nutshell, they were able to borrow clothes from their way back machine of props and clothes. This was a song for the fans, because they actually are going to the military in the next few months, since all able bodied men in Korea must serve in the military by the age of 30 and since the older half are all just about 30 they really need to get going. So this was a farewell but not gone for ever type of song. I think you would like some of their early work. They actually started as a hiphop group in 2013. Their first few albums were kinda hard well as hard as a half dozen Korean boys. But they could write. Still can. Enjoy the music.

Also kpop isn’t really a genre or culture. Kpop is and Industry which bts aren’t necessarily apart of. Western media tends to call every Korean artist kpop. You could say bts were kpop at the beginning or at least trying to be, but they aren’t apart of that anymore.

No other music is like theirs I think they are better than American boy band. Welcome to the BTS Journey my friend! We love people with open minds and who just love music. These guys are amazing. ARMY can be pretty protective of these young men but if you choose to dive deeper into them and their music you will learn that these guys were treated very bad by the music industry, not just in the U.S. but their home country as well. Before BTS, there were 3 companies that cornered the market and if you were a group that wanted to make it, you went through them. BTS did not and everything was thrown at them to keep them from succeeding. There are even fans of other groups that pretend to be ARMY to paint us into a picture of being the worse fandom. K-pop is often described as a genre, but what most people tend to tell me is that it should be thought of as more like a specific industry. Because K-pop has several genres within it where some groups incorporate two or three styles, and other groups stick to a certain sound. There's a lot of hip-hop acts out there considered to be "k-pop" but they don't sound like pop at all. They're just under the k-pop industry umbrella and have heir own vibe going,. And many Korean artists, first and second generation k-pop idols included, have said that BTS have basically created their own genre. I honestly wouldn't know how to describe it to someone. Because it's so many things at once, but then also not any of those things at all. For most people who are skeptical when it comes to listening to them, even though they're told that BTS isn't what they think, they're still extremely surprised by their sound, their dancing skills, the rapline, the intense lyrics and how eclectic their songs are because it doesn't matter what you like. BTS probably has something for you lol I didn't even like them at first. I was introduced with ON. It wasn't my kind of music, and I brushed them off for a good year after that. But then I heard Magic Shop. And then I was done for (and now ON is one of my favorites).

Not the BEST video for a first reaction. I would highly recommend going from their earliest songs back in 2013, like 'No More Dream' and 'We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2' and go from there, in order. So after those two, I would go with 'N.O.' After 'N.O.' then 'Boy In Luv' (that was released in 2014 and when looking that up you might get 'Boy With Luv,' which is the incorrect one, that came out around 2019). After 'Boy In Luv,' do 'Just One Day,' after that one, 'Danger.' There's way more after that, but these are just starting points.

I love all of their songs as a band aswell as solo artists but they are only doing solo songs because they were all doing military training jin has come out of the military because he has finished his training he came out a few months ago and the other boys are still in the military they have also completed their basic military training and j-hope comes out next month at some point and the rest of the boys come out next year on june 11th and June the 12th but if i've got this wrong can someone tell me and let me know thx

Erm concerts well they're hard to get tickets for (i haven't seen them yet and i've been an ARMY for nearly 2.5 years) so in like 3 years when they start doing concerts again don't be surprised if it's really hard to get tickets if not nearly impossible, they'll probably have over a billion fans by then. BTS is pretty atypical for what most consider to be Kpop. This group has been putting music out for almost 10 years and have songs in almost every genre and are known for successfully mixing genres within songs and albums. This particular video was specifically a promise to their fans "ARMY" that they were not going anywhere (music-wise); they knew at this time that they would be joining their military, which is required for all able-bodied Korean men, but they had not yet announced it yet... so it was a sort of preemptive promise. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. They are also known for their insanely hard choreography and incredible ability to sing and rap LIVE while doing it. There is also a live version of this song they recorded in LA with Anderson Pak as the drummer that will give you great sense of their live vocals. You could also check out their "BTS Room Live" that is a medley of one -B-side track from every album in chronological order from debut to Nov. 2021. You'll see how incredibly diverse their songs are and see some of their personalities as well... it's also LIVE vocals. and RM is paying homage to the Kanye-Lupe song.

Thanks for giving them a chance. You will find they are multi-genre. They began as a hip hop group and have morphed into something very unique. They actually do not fit the typical kpop mold. They write and produce the majority of their own music and their live performance are even better than studio productions. This song was actually performed live with Anderson Pak on the drums and its fantastic. I recommend watching live versions as well as official mvs. They are comprised of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists however they all cross over in those rolls. They all have released solo work including the members of the rapline. Ps. The leader of the group is RM, the rapper who sang the line "We gonna touch the sky until the day we die" and is the main writer. Suga, the one with the hat is their main producer who produces music for other musicians in the industry as well as his own group. I do hope you explore their music a little deeper. Their is a good medley performance that gives you just a small taste of their genres and features bits of songs through the years, BTS Festa Room Live . You might want to start there!

BTS does everything so name a genre and they have a song for you. i think they still mis a metal song though🤔 and yes Army can be pretty hard on newcomers but only because there are so many reactors who only react to BTS to get views. but once you got our respect we are loyal and the most sweetest and welcoming fandom ever. we dont judge we respect all walks of life and the fandom is not teenage girls i am 39 but i guess you will meet many people way older than me in the comment section.😊 can´t wait for your next reaction

Muito fofo react, apesar de Yet to come recomendação ser cedo demais, é uma música cujo significado traz 90% da vibe da música, a letra é uma carta pros fãs, prometendo que após a pausa do grupo eles irão voltar com "o melhor" (mas acredito que, para não esperarmos que as coisas sejam como antes). O videoclipe é basicamente um amontoado referências de "Eras" diferentes da carreira deles. Mas é uma música linda de qualquer forma, e fico feliz que tenha gostado.
