In the song Sea and also they've said other places, there are the words " If we are together, even the desert becomes the sea" . Both the desert and the sea hold so much meaning for us. When I heard the waves in the end, I thought of those words immediately 💜

SAME! I thought I might have been the only one cause I haven't heard someone mention that song yet. The moment I saw the desert I thought of the song and those ponient particular lyrics too but when I heard the waves at the beginning and end that's when it was really at the forefront of my mind. It's one of my favorite songs too so I couldn't help but reminiscence about it in this song

This song was for ARMY and BTS relationship all the references to MV BTS is not saying goodbye as some have thought but I think they’re saying they’re not concern with trophies, crowns, flowers because the are not about that. I loved J- Hope line but music is what motivated them they’re staying grounded not letting the shadow of fame take over saying they’re the best sounds heavy to them. Getting back on the bus starting at 1. They want us to get excited over what is coming because it’s the BEST. The mental maturity of these young men is amazing.💜

Lauren saying "you are distracting" was the funniest thing ever. I love watching the wheels in your brain turn Josh lol! The ending of the mv had me trembling and so emotional. This chapter has closed but we have their promise that they will continue to make music! I love it so much!

Yea me too...I was feeling many things. The ocean reminded me of the song sea since they're in a desert and yet you hear the ocean because of that one line that says 'if we are together even the desert becomes the sea.' Such a beautiful song both sea and this one. You expressed just what I was feeling too tho, anxious about the future, nostalgic about the past, happy, and just a little sad...just the way they were sitting at the end too...Then the scene cut out the same way the no more dream video started except reverse. The screen was opening at that time, to see these boys with passion and eyeliner in their eyes and full of ambition..but this one was closing the scene on these 7 amazing men, proud and much more certain of who they are, still hopeful and passionate and awaiting whats to come..but just a little bit wiser. In the end I'll just wait for what's yet to come and not worry too much about it😌🙄. After all JK did say in the beginning YOU AND I, best moment is yet to come. It will be us and them ARMY and BTS forever!💜💜💜

If you watch it again, look at their clothing, and the different scenes, the train & the carousel from Spring day, in one scene Jimin is dressed almost identical to Spring Day and makes the same gestures as he did when you walked out of the 'train, all the guys are dressed in clothing from past video's. There is a lot more to see in this video, that you will pick up on. To me this new Album Proof is an anthology of some of their best artistry in music, I feel they are telling us that what they have done and what they have overcome was because of their love of music, and that was what kept them going, kept them grounded and that they are still the same boys they were back then. That because of their love for music and Army they know what they have accomplished and that is what is most important to them. So I feel this is a celebration of some of their greatest music and that those years were the best, but yet their best is "Yet to Come".

Josh, I’m impressed you got almost every reference! And Lauren got a lot too! Tae is wearing a school uniform like in their school era and the rose is from an old photo he has in the school uniform smelling that same flower. I can’t believe you remembered that Tae was the one that covered Jin’s eyes before and now is the opposite! Well done sir! Also, in Spring Day there is a Tae’s scene where he do that with his hands as well, like capturing the moment it wasn’t just Jin. There is also an Euphoria reference when Jk is walking with his arms wide open but I think you haven watch that MV yet. And the Just One Day opening. Ps: I still cry watching the MV ahah

When it gets to this part, I immediately thought about how the past few years they were hopeful for the Grammy, and even put out the English songs which were more successful than anyone could every dream, yet STILL they were snubbed for something literally EVERYONE knew they deserved. Here is the lyrics = "The world's expectations We ain't about it That step of being the best We ain't about it Crowns and flowers, countless trophies We ain't about it Dream and hope, and goin' forward We so about it It's back to square one after making one long turn, back to one" I think their 'long turn' was this time in their career where they tried something different (which they are artists they are SUPPOSED to be able to explore their art), succeeded, was snubbed and they are turning it back to their earlier sounds and literally saying they don't care about that stuff now. Also, I remember when they started putting out the eng songs some armies in my Noona groups and on my personal social media were REALLY upset, some even took a break from them (which I found ridiculous to do). I tried pointing out they only did FOUR eng songs which is nothing considering how much they put out still in Korean, and pointed out their Japanese full albums how was that different, but it didn't sink in. (Personally I LOVED those songs, I love it all). Anyways I know this is long, but I think this portion of the song references all of that. Some people nastily called them sellouts and turning their back on their Korean roots. Just ridiculous stuff. Also, those songs weren't just about the Grammys, they wanted to give the western fans a gift, too. To cheer us up during Covid. I think ppl read too much into it. I'm seeing all those ppl though I know that were upset are REALLY happy now, though, how it 'sounds like their old stuff!'. I think the grammy/english era was that 'long turn'.

To list some of the references: - Them sitting in those chairs is connected to Just One Day MV - JK opening with the "camera hand" is the same as in their Prologue video - Tae with the rose + "uniform" looks like their previous school era but also with Boy in Love/ Boy With Love - The truck is from Run and other storyline videos - Them all in the truck is like the picture from the storyline - Yoongi and the piano - storyline as well - The Statue is indeed BS&T - School bus from No more dream - The end where they are sitting on the bus is reminiscent of the end of Spring Day MV. They are in the same positions as well - Jimin is going towards a pair of shoes, just like in Spring Day as well - Tae's camera fingers movement is also from spring day - JK walking alone is similar to his scenes in Euphoria and INU as well

This was me, every time it showed each Member or Members in a scene, I would go, “oh…that’s from Blood, Sweat & Tears or that’s from Spring Day”, the Bus was the tear jerker for me. They ended the MV with the one thing that was their beginning.😢. Love the both of you guys, keep going.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

So many Spring day reference...seems like BTS are saying they will miss the past, while always remembering who they were but moving forward to the future. This is a beautiful song sharing all their past, showing the present and holding our hands with them through the future. In the beginning we hear the ocean/sea...I can almost hear the Whalien 52. Right when JK starts singing, you can hear in the background a high pitch sound that to me almost sound like a whale...its throughout the song.

From the very beginning there were so many references to their old MVs, I think in Just one Day when they were in white and they did it again! and many other MV references in between.. so many easter eggs for Armys to uncover/remember and feel nostalgic!! What's so touching for me was now they are seated inside their school bus when in their first video they stepped out of the bus.. and their positions in the bus was their spring day MV ending!!! Thank you to both of you for staying up to watch and share your reaction to the premiere of their comeback 😊

I believe a lot of people see the references to the title tracks of BTS that they overlook the references to the b-side songs as well. I know there are going to be A LOT of people doing videos over comparisons. Which will help ARMY and those who haven't seen all of the old content, or understand the full entirety of the BU, see why this MV is so nostalgic and made so many cry to both the lyrics and visuals.💜

Firstly I just wanted to say that JKs vocals are amazing and the lyricsare so poetic and beautiful. Secondly the MV itself has this calming effect (which also is emotional to me). I also love how they sing about how much they love music and doing eat they like. It's like they are looking back on the past and looking forward to the best that's "yet to come". Also there are references to past MVs including Springday, BST, no more dream aka the bus. I don't know why but this song is bringing tears to my eyes and I can't help but smile through out the whole thing and them wearing all white it's like they are angels singing to us (which in reality they are). I also love the melodic beat of the music as its so relaxing and calming. Also I love the message through the song that is the best moment is yet to come so keep doing what you love. Im In love with this song already and its now already one of my favs

There arw lots of references here. Starting from JK - Prologue and seeing them the way they sat is from Jist One Day. And so on.... No more Dream, Fake love, Run, BS&T, Spring Day, etc. Non-armys will never appreciate anything about this track. All the meaning behind the song and MV is for the Armys only. You may not recognize all the references but if you cant recognjze 1 or 2 ref on this MV alone you are not an army lol I am so in love with this song. I felt hopeful and thankful. The past 9yrs may be the best. But what comes next will be the best for sure. Better than the 9yrs. Thejr 10th yr as a group since debut is after their festa, new chapter. I dont want to expect anything but i think there will be lots of changes. I dont want to think negative things. They always make us feel everythinf will be alright ✨💜

When I see that bus, i remember No More Dream, when they got out from the bus, a symbolic they had enough to follow the same route, same rules, same mentality, same stigma from everyone on them, so they instead run to tell the whole world that they can do more than that. And when they run back to the bus in this video, it seems like they want to tell us that they finally living in their dream, to be heard, to be known through their love and passion for music. At the same time, they always want to remember how it all began. How the 7 of them overcome all the hardships to chase their dream and it finally they can start with another new beginning. All the props contain all the back story on the set especially the truck because I remember the trivia they had to borrow the truck and other cars from the staff for RUN mv. And some props too. This...makes me cry. They have such endless untold journey back in the day that waiting to be unfold.

I like the way you put it, the end of an era and starting a new one. In the song, they did say "back to 1" , so this kind of tell and also prepare the ARMY that "whatever you are used to or expect from us, put a lid on it, because what come next will be new and different and better". Because they are back to 1 and starting all over again, what come next will be "New BTS", BTS version 2 !

Well 24 hrs passed and we haven't reached 50m views and that's really disappointing tbh. Idk, Yt is acting up rn. They keep deleting views. But in a positive side, we did a great job despite many songs needs to be streamed. Longevity is important too so let's keep streaming armys! Also, the physical album have reached 2 million sold copies (and counting) which really is a good news! I know everyone is anticipating for this comeback. Yet To Come is special for armys because of many references on this MV. I know that non armys are probably confused or may look at this as normal/odd MV but to us, it feels nostalgic. React to other new songs too! For Youth and Run BTS gives completely different vibes but both are so good!

Please check SEA. You can only find fan made lyric vid since It's their hidden track in previous album. This is where they refer Desert as Sea. :) Thus, the overall theme/background of the setting is based on that also.

From the beginning I've had this same thought. And that Taehyung is the shadow figure to Jin. Taehyung is Jin's Demian. Jin's "Black Swan". And JK is a representation of the "Divine Child", or "Inner Child". That the BU may be "BTS's Red Book". I could be so wrong, but it makes sense to me.

That "raid feature" didnt work for me and I missed the start as I was stuck in the listening party. Also if you havnt already I recommend listening to the other two new songs they are also amazing.
