at least the only places that back to the Future still legacy that might exist is just the courthouse in at the studio tour without the DeLorean and also one of these cars near the vehicle museum on the way along with those merchandise is of it.
I remember When the ride was new and I was a little kid this ride scared the hell out of me. I remember it seemed so real to me and the part that scared me the worst was when the Delorean loses power and starts free falling. It really did feel like you were free falling with the screen and hydraulics system shaking like crazy. I really miss this ride.
They need to go back to creating special effects in films like this, miniature sets and 7' monsters. Hell, they need to go back to using miniature sets as backdrops for cartoons like some of the old Popeye cartoons.
I remember riding this ride at Universal Studios Hollywood (the only location that had this attraction in America so to speak) in early 2007 when me and my parents were in California to see a lot of studios (NBC and Warner Bros. studios to name a few). I remember screaming my head off while riding this because everything was flying into your face like it was an IMAX 3D movie, minus the 3D effects. At the part with the dinosaur, I screamed at the top of my lungs, "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" (I was trying to be funny). Even though I embarrassed myself because my dad told me he couldn't hear the ride's storyline over my screaming, I look back on riding this and laugh.
I wish they still had this...then again I can just wait till 2015 and I'll technically get to see the first segment in reality....less than 365 days till flying cars, hover boards, and Mr. Fusion
i wish this ride was still there because when i hear of something cool like pokepark (pokemon amusement park) it has been closed for at least 10 years D:
Man I was like 5 when this ride was released at Universal Studios... My favorite at the park. Scary as shit for a kid but who cares it was Back to the Future!!! Then I'd go eat at Doc Browns finest chicken right across from the attraction
captainobvious81 that is so cool but shell took over Texaco gas stations in California and now you barley see it. im wondering why there are all almost gone to me that gas station should be all over because Texaco was the first gas station in America that started in Texas to then to the whole United States the very first one and. now shell took over all the gas Stations that was Texaco in the west coast of the United States. I'm a fan of NASCAR and I am still wondering why Texaco is not in NASCAR no more now i see shell.and Mobil and I noticed that I do not see 76 gas in NASCAR
They should've NEVER closed down the Back To The Future ride in 2007 to replace it for The Simpsons ride in 2008. The last time my dad and I went to Universal Studios in Orlando in Florida one summer of my elementry school days, I regrettably never got a chance to go on the Back To The Future ride. And not to sound crude, But I wonder who the idiot is/was who decided the approval to have the Back To The Future ride replaced for The Simpsons ride. Why replace the ride when Back To The Future is still popular with the fans to this very day? If I were in the ride's designer's shoes, I would've never had the Back To The Future ride closed down to be replaced for another ride And I would've still kept it open and operating to this very day for all of the fans out there who still loves Back To The Future!
Your the not only one I'm with you in that you will be happy when they bring it back ?I rode The Simpsons one time and I'll never ride it again because 2 years ago they were still playing the theme music and I was crying in the inside
Did you know, the only things changed for the simpsons ride was the video footage, props and decorations. The cars you sit in and the simulation itself is exactly the same as Back to the Future: The Ride. For example, when you are eaten by Maggie is the part where you get eaten by the dinosaur. The lazy river in Krustyland is also when you are travelling along the lava in the prehistoric era. How do you explain that a Krustyland rollercoaster car has gull wing doors like the DeLorean and rises the same way you exit the Institute of Technology garage.
