You see that Buffy didn't just ask for books once she asked for books twice she was looking for books so she can study and catch up on a school work and he quite literally didn't hear her or pretended not to because of whatever she had to say or want it didn't matter it was all about what she it was all about the watching council on it they going to say over and over again how Buffy doesn't here the Scoobies or Giles but they're the ones that don't hear her he didn't even give her what she really wanted that day it was all about what he wanted

I remember when I first watched this I thought Giles was creepy because he had a book titled Vampyr but by the end of the serious Giles ended up being one of my favorite characters, I love how fatherly Giles acts around Buffy well not really an act.
