Thai Fighters don't clinch to avoid punches, they clinch to get knees in, throws etc. Clinching is an art in itself. I think you're confusing this with International Boxing where fighters sometimes hold on to avoid punches. Different story altogether.
Man I love how all people go like buakaw's kicks getting blocked, in such a sport kicks should be pointed way more indeed plus you don't know how fuckd up these guys forearms and ribs are getting. Trust me getting a kick from buakaw is fuckd up, props for people who take em tho.

Kraus' boxing skills are v. good. This is some of the best I've seen from him and v. impressed, but Bukaw won that (even if kicks and punches are same points): RIng generalship; poise; technique - he's had a hard time in Japan. I don't understand why they punish him like this - maybe don't want 1 man to overly dominate K1 and thus lower Masato's profile - who knows?
@@Speedofdark339 i meant that kraus was the better boxer and was constantly pushing forward,buakaw needed his kicks to keep him back and to wear him down,buakaw seemed to be more on the defensive using his kicks
Man buakaw knocked when he fell he fell straight down and not backwards so how could he have lost his balance. Buakaw didn't know the difference between boxing and must Thai in this fight and that's why he lost. Just like yall don't understand the difference.
K-1 don’t like Buakaw, cause he destroy the Japanese fighter ( Japanese are elite Asians compare to other Asians, Buakaw prove that wrong and they don’t like him🤣).
He's Masato a great fighter and why he was watching those two is because he was a big competitor to both of them at the time, albert and buakaw both defeated him and he was looking for revenge
yes but most of fighters in k-1 have good punches but shit kicks. And is not true that buakaw doesnt have a good short weapon, he has his ellbows (not allowed in k-1) but he is good using them too

Plus Buakaw clinched every 5 seconds to avoid Kraus punches....He should have had a point taken away because he kept breaking the rules and clinching with Kraus.... Kraus should have won....He came to fight and Buakaw just came to throw up the same middle kick and hug every time Kraus got on the inside....Kraus should have won
All fanboyism aside, Krause won this fight in the extra round with more significant strikes. Buakaw is a great fighter, but the better fighter this day was krause.
Plus Buakaw cheated by constantly clinching Kraus everytime Kraus got on the inside to hit him with punches....Kraus came to fight and Buakaw just came to kick and clinch....Buakaw should have gotten a point taken away for the clinching....and Kraus should have won
