Robert Bubby Lewis began playing the bass at the age 14 years old. His first time playing before an audience was at his father’s church in Flint, Michigan. It was during that performance that Robert realized how much he loved music and being a musician. Playing at church taught him the importance of music and musicianship. It wasn’t long before Robert felt ready to pursue a career as a professional musician.
Since then, Robert has played and recorded bass for a number of music industry powerhouse artists including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Lupe Fiasco, Tha Game, Kim Burrel, The Clarke Sisters, AI, Stevie Wonder and many more. Being a huge fan of Japanese anime, comic books, video games and all things nerdy, Robert has been blessed to create various music compositions for companies such as FUNimation Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment.
