'Bubonic Plant' goes so hard. Also, no wonder Shedletsky is worried about the Swords being stolen. They are dangerous to everyone, ESPECIALLY the wielders. Blackrock's king went mad with the knowledge, only to turn into a pile of snow... And Brad turned into a monster out of sheer anger... ...*Who are the Voices? And what's their end goal?*
I imagine it would be pretty awkward using the Block Tales venomshank in an actual fight if it does that to people it stabs. Imagine trying to use it to outrange an ice dagger main and then it turns them into a giant plant abomination that wipes the floor with you. (of course it doesn't actually do that when you unlock it since that would be pretty inconvenient for the player)
Might be misinterpreting this but don't the player character know? When we first wake up, tutorial terry replies to us something like "Builderman kidnapped? Swords? Time Travel? Wake up, this is 2010!" So not only are we aware we time traveled, we also know what happened?
@@OfficialEdwardNewgate Maybe, but even if that was the case, we only know the surface-level stuff. We only know that Builderman was kidnapped and that the Swords were stolen, but we dónt know the *why* and *who*.
judging by the start of the game (terry's confusion when you yap about something), you're probably a prophecy in blocktales thing is, we used the swords in different ways more safer and less agressive ways we're not stabbing people and absolutely tormenting them with venomshank, we're only just mass attacking and lightly damaging them witha side of sickness we're not sending opps into absolute zero with ice dagger, we're defending ourselves and healing our entire group we're using these swords in a more harmless but self-defensive way of getting through fights because brads near-death experience with the venomshank was VIOLENT the sword itself is supposed to mutate mfs but we don't let that happen "you're so invested in this already" -friend
The player also seems to be a time traveler too. When your character silently replies to Terry in the first cut scene, he said these words in confusion, "Builder man, kidnapping, time travel?". There's also a mysterious voice that warns every person who uses one of SFOTH Swords about you and their fates.
@@ihap5180 I'm gonna predict that in some point of the story, we will get like snippets of what happened to our character before they were transported in 2010
@@aliteralminigun I know that, I'm just a lazy dude that wasn't very clear. Off topic, I wonder what's the cause of the voices. I have a stupid theory, maybe it's the Darkheart sword? Griefer's description of the voices suggested that there's many and not just one. I think it could be the Darkheart because of how Block Tales uses the SFOTH swords. When you use the Ice Dagger, you heal instead of freazing the enemy. Venomshank's poison seems to be unique in that if someone has prolonged exposure to the blade, they turn into a poisonous plant monster. Maybe the Darkheart has a soul based power because of the life steal and unique kill effect that the original item has. My theory is that the Darkheart could collect souls or something and even communicate or manipulate others from a distance through those souls, although I have no idea how someone could know what's in the future.
@@LePest594 wait what if the voices are the swords and the reason why he says must kill is because he is SO corrupted by the voices that it made him say that BECAUSE he stabbed himself with the sword because it is the voices.
I find it interesting that on of the things this plant can say when it’s idle is “H3LP M3…” since it implies that Griefer is in pain and realized that what he did out of anger was a massive mistake
This entire final boss fight was INCREDIBLY well executed and i loved every second of it. Me and my friend were already exhausted from the first phase so with the sudden transformation and this song on top intensity was SUPER HIGH
In my opinion the plant appearing directly after griefer is the perfect execution You think griefer is easy but then as you meet the bubonic plant you are extremely shocked and die The whole purpose of griefer is to make the player confident and make the player think ite gg time When the plant appears you realize one of the purposes of griefer is to weak you down before the fight Truly a perfect execution hopefully tyey do it again with ghostwalker during chapter 3
''He just had a whole monologue about how he was ''going to take me down with him'' and he proceeded to just stab himself with the venomshank, why did he do th-'' ''Oh''
If I had a nickel for each time I've seen a videogame boss whose boss theme includes a powerful electric guitar as its main instrument and that has two phases, in which the second one is a menacing big venomous plant with teeth, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but its weird how this description suits both the Bubonic Plant and Plantera from Terraria.
@@Axol0tus your best nightmare doesn't have an electric guitar if I recall correctly and I wouldn't really describe omega flowery as "venomous", but the intensity of the track is still there so I'll give you a point for that
This boss got HANDS when you're soloing, like oh my god, 60 HP all on your own with an infinite stack of poison constantly on you makes for SUCH A THRILLING FIGHT, and this soundtrack is AWESOME
Campy did a good job on this one. The fact that he just basically remixed Griefer's theme with less percussion and more of that 'voice' and electric guitar is just chef's kiss of roblox osts.
Yeah but if you literally spam once they are close to your face you’ll protect yourself for the most part, and if you don’t use hardmode like I did you’ll only take 1-2 dmg
This gotta be one of the most epic fights ever, fighting this right after a previous fight with low HP and SP made the stakes even higher. The intensity was always present throughout the fight, and the music just made that more apparent. Brad is honetly such an amazing character, unlike the Cruel King, Brad was always one of the main threats throughout the chapter, and the build up for this boss made the ending even more rewarding. Demo 2 was honestly so cool, you guys cooked!
ya after a while I realized you can backtrack to fully heal, although I'm pretty sure most people just went straight to the next cutscene after finishing round 2 with griefer, so I will still leave that in the comment
We really gotta talk about the power of those swords. The Ice Dagger was able to freeze a sizable area without actually being used in Combat from the Cruel King. However the more ridiculous thing is the Venomshank which when Griefer stabbed it into his leg transformed himself into a plant creature. So the Venomshank is able to almost completely alter DNA and in smaller doses produce similar symptoms to poison(example using it in a battle) so i assume it is radioactive, or coated in a special chemical that can change cell structures and genetic code into a completely different organism. Tldr: The venomshank is able to alter genetic code and in smaller doses causes similar symptoms to poisoning.
i can imagine ghost walker literally destroying souls when someone dies or straight up absorbing them into the sword, forever trapped. i wonder what the boss for ghostwalker will do?
The fact a stab TO HIS LEG transformed him this much is worrying, im curious how a stab to an internal organ (heart lungs etc) would effect a person, besides killing them since Griefer is presumably still alive just barely
An ice dagger, freezing over an entire city, and able to freeze you to your doom, also able to produce a mist that will indeed freeze you aswell, when put up against defend:
"Another phase? Surprising but i can take i-" * Bubonic Plant Used Plant Rush! "Was that a barrage-" * Bubonic Plant Used Tendril Flurry! "STOP WITH THE BARRAGE-" * Bubonic Plant Used Big Bite * Player has taken mortal damage! "Well.. Atleast they stopped with the barrage attacks..." * You lost the battle...
-you won to Brad's first form -he stabs himself with the venomshank -the voices are telling Brad to kill you -he turns into ugly big plant -epic music starts playing -"Brad looks strong now, gotta ask for party members" -"who wanna party with me!" -no one cares -"guess I'll have to fight him solo" -wins -saddest music starts playing holy I've just got a streak for yapping
what i liked about the toxic guards is that their attacks have very different timing windows. the Dartman has a slight delay from blowing into the gun to hitting your avatar, the Spearman's attacks go into you but elevate slightly when youre supposed to counter which helps alot especially if you unlocked the Thorns card in Chapter 1 (counter window decreases by 10 percent each copy) and the other guy idk with the grass vine staff has one quick slap and then a combo that wraps around.
This goes so good in sync with the griefer audio when the beat builds up, and then you instantly put it to the bubonic plant one and it just sounds so good (it also sounds good with bigfoot too)
Bubonic Plant used Venom Charge! Bubonic Plant used Plant Rush! Me with 2 Defense while defending with a Charge DEF in use: *STAAANDING HERE, I REALIIIIIZE*
@@randomdudeonyoutub defender and defence card one is found in the snow village shop while the other is near the place where you start the game but you need bux to get it
I LOVE infection and mutation themed bosses. The metal perfectly matching the chaos and danger without taking over completely and blending your ears, Campy knew what they were doing as always.
Schizophrenic kid rages so hard that he turns into a crazy plant monster This was hella epic (the final boss is probably going to be some sort of Giygas-like eldritch horror)
"having only one turn was annoying but i did it. now give me the swo- wait what. WAIT WHAT 60 HEALTH??" proceeds to immediately get acid rained, and bitten in half
I love the guitar here, anyway I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE SECOND PHASE WHEN I WAS ALREADY STRUGGLING WITH THE FIRST ONE. This chapter in general was a huge difficulty spike compared to the first one, like, I know some people were annoyed by the fact that the first chapter was too easy but, well, IT'S THE *FIRST* CHAPTER. I died at least once to every bosses expect for Griefer's first encounter and Bigfoot (yeah even the funny lizard kicked my ass). With many tries and errors and vibes to the song (I literally stopped for 2 minutes to listen this banger) I finally managed to beat this thing, but if the difficulty keeps rising from here, casual players will begin to struggle a lot. I still have to do the pit (and I've heard some horrible things about the funny lizard) and the hard mode, I legit don't know if I'm capable to beat this freaking plant in hard mode or even Griefer's second encounter for that matter.
I find it interesting that no one has commented on how this is just Griefer’s theme but more broken and corrupted, it’s a nice touch; and is why campy is such a good musical artist.
Me: "Finally, i stopped Griefer!" *The green text pops up* Me: "wait... don't tell me..." *Second phase activates* Me: "WALLAHI I'M FINISHED 😭" tbh that was so unexpected and scary that i got shocked and hyped at the same time (plus this banger). If they did such genius chess play to make it so unexpected and epic, then I have no idea what to expect in next chapter. Magnificent game! Wish it got to the 2024 awards.
this game is genuinely one of my favorite roblox games of all time, infact. My top 5 game of all time, not in roblox but in general, the music, mechanics, everything i love, i am the ultimate glazer for this game and i will always love it.
i did NOT expect the griefer turning into a whole ahh plant monster 😭😭😭😭, nonetheless i LOVED THIS BOSSFIGHT cuz it caught me off guard, and because of the difficulty, and the FIRE OST 🔥🔥 although the whole chapter was good, one thing i liked a lot about it is the animations, the amount of dialogue, the music AND THE MAP
Since the Devs put their update logs last time in final boss themes, I’ll put the new updates on July 9th and 10th here: -Investor now uses 2 BP -Launcher only does 1 dmg to adjacent enemies. -Ante Up decreases timing for attacks by 50% -Green Tea will give an Exhausted debuff during the 3 turns of doubles timing. - “Griefer’s Crib” and “The Guru” are now teleport locations - First Strike Bonus has been nerfed to add only 1 dmg to your next attack -Gorilla’s Punch only does 3 Damage Bubonic Plant updates (Note that I use Drain HP, lowering my defense, so some dmg may be inaccurate): -Bubonic Plant is now only 50 HP -Tendril Flurry does 2 attacks instead of 4, each doing 4 dmg -Acid Rain only does 2 dmg per projectile -Big Bite only does 7 dmg -Venom Charge no longer gives Bubonic Plant a Speed Boost (Will put more soon, if you know more, put it in the replies)
In the song Griefer is saying the supposed "gibberish" but in the wiki it shows that griefer is saying: "Got this place jumpin' I'm on the bass bumpin' Now I've taken somethin' But I don't wanna-want it" This is him supposedly talking about the venomshank
Imagine fighting for your life while slowly dying as some monstrous plant creature but then either your father in the background or the voices in your head…or maybe both start beatboxing
