Had those thumb studs snag on my pocket when pulling it out of my pocket, it partially opened the blade and then snapped shut on my hand , bit of a cut. They are too big and too far from the pivot. Also the tip hits the inside of the handle if it closes too fast and puts a perfect ding in the front of the edge. Schoolboy errors really
Sorry to hear you lost and subscribers my friend like I said I personally like it when somebody speaks their honest opinion because there is so many people that are biased against their brand that are willing to overlook the obvious a lot of people that really don't know me that well think I only love buck knives and that's all I collect that's not true at all I collect various brands that I love that are great quality that I can prepare with them and in my opinion any knife brand no matter how big or small is going to have flaws because all the ones nowadays are using machines to put their knives together back in the old days it was all done the right way because when you look at older pocket knives and stuff from older eras you notice there's always no gaps or anything like that in older knives cuz they're put together so well but I still say keep doing your videos
Had to send mine back to Buck about a week ago, it would not stay tight. Sent 3 other Buck's as well, 2 -119's & an Auto 110 I bought from an online source which I wanted my initials on. I own 11 Buck knives and only 2 came from a source other than the Buck shop. Patiently waiting... 🙂
Mine came with a better fit and finish but the screw that holds the blade in the scales came loose and was lost somewhere after only a couple months. I didn’t have a great experience either and that was not only my first buck but my first knife purchase ever. Wasn’t the best first impression to make. I need to send it back in to have that screw replaced I guess, but it’s been sitting in the box on my shelf for almost 2 years now so idk if that’ll ever happen!
I have never been a Buck fan. I don't like their designs and the steel is not the greatest and fit and finnish leaves a lot to be desired. I don't own a Buck and don't plan to add one. I have always thought Buck was over rated and overpriced.
Tired of the 110. They are stuck in the past. Yes it's a classic, we've seen it before. Just lazy to change colors, materials...create something new. That RAT 1 is awesome.
The 112 is the best skinner blade ever made. I'm pumped to pick this one up, I love the cheap plastic version to death. I wish they'd make this knife with the classic clip point and a nail nick and it'd be perfect
