Bucket List Fulfilled! Giant Antique Vintage Mall Shopping 

I've been hearing about "Heart of Ohio Antique Center" for 30 years, and now I get to shop it in person! ‪@CrazyLampLady‬ and I are here to be interviewed by ‪@BernerBrotherAntiques‬ , then scour this enormous antique emporium to discover many seldom-seen antiques and vibrant vintage goods for our buyers--and our own collections.
Right inside the door, we see showcases and tables full of amazing collectibles! A Lladro gondola, a Satsuma floor vase, a Lindbergh plane carnival ride and a "puppy" only Laurel could love jump out at us, and we've only gone the first 50 feet. With only so much time here in Springfield, Ohio to shop, which of the 5 huge buildings emanating from the lobby do we choose?
We decide to follow Jocelyn around for awhile, comparing notes about cool MCM modernist items we've had (or would like to have), from a Carl Romanelli art deco head vase to a box we think Georges Briard designed (but who made it?). A 41" Viking swung vase goes up to the counter, along with mesh purses, art pottery, Blenko glass and bakelite bangles that Kate

But it's not just about reseller picks in this place. We get to enjoy a lot of real antiques now seldom seen, from flow blue china and a Nickelodeon to elegant French and American clock sets, along with a case of Cambridge glass, Star Wars mugs by Rumph and spaces full of everything from original 1920s advertising signs to bittersweet swung vases! This mall really does have it all, and I can't wait to go back and shop it again soon.
