I have a 1994 gmc stepside that I ŵill be switching out a benchseat for 2 suburban seats. I am using your great video as the guide . Thanks for putting out great info.
I feel you on that! Take time you get your own stuff taken care of🙏🏽 I do the same thing… fix everyone else’s rides while the list on my own vehicles grow longer 😂
First 5 seconds i thought no way thats Wesley Snipes 😂....just browsing though for ideas i got a 92 c1500 completely gutted inside ready for a build ....thanks for your video mate 👍
Thank you for your video. I’m actually doing opposite, bucket seats for 60/40 so I can fit my kids in the truck with me. Looks like I will need a double seat belt since mine only has one on the drivers side.
I left my original seat belts and latches in there so I could put a bench back if I want. I actually wanted the 60/40 seat but, couldn't find any that was affordable and in the blue color I wanted so, I went with the buckets I got.
It’s a nice 60/40 set from 88-94 years near me on marketplace. I’m in Indiana but the seats are in Illinois about an hour away for $150. I ended up finding blue buckets from a 94. I love em!!!
I have a 92 k2500, I bought a 2000 with a 6.0 4l80e 4x4, nothing special, but planning on starting swap on it as soon as I get a second vehicle, been doing small things here and there on it like lights and bull bar and stuff, just my old work truck that I'm modifying lol
Hey man, that's great! I wish you the best on your build!✊🏾✊🏾 That's why I do what I do. I install what I can afford when I can because I need a 2nd running vehicle. The impala was a great candidate but, it now needs a motor. Keep wrenching dude!🤟🏾🤟🏾
I appreciate you! I always try to respond to my viewers comments or questions. I belive they came out of a 96-99 extended cab truck like mine. Hope this helps!✊🏾✊🏾
Man my dash look same!!! Big ole pieces cracked out. Hahaha bro. I keep coming back. Not sure if i told you, I drove my 92 over to where i am living now. I need to shoot a video for you brother. She over heated on way so after sitting 3 years from covid and health i had to put battery but she fired up. Needs radiator flush for sure as i dont think any antifreeze in it all water with a red tint maybe fron rust in the radiator i hope not but might explain the heating up on way. She never did this and i never changed therm. Ok bro. Peace and God Bless. From Ga
Awesome man! Keep wrenching on her dude! All you gotta do is get the cobwebs out from sitting. I'm glad you are better and I hope she gets better too! I appreciate the love from GA! Be blessed man!✊🏾✊🏾
When you drilled the inner two holes for the driver side, did it already have a receiver or did you just drill holes, slide bolts and tighten with nuts? I have a 60 driver that I’m taking out in the next few days and need to do the two inner for my bucket seat.
Good question. I drilled holes to the size of the bolts I used and then fastened them down with lock washers and lock nuts. Good luck with your swap!✊🏾✊🏾
Thank you! I'm glad the video was a blessing to you. I'm not sure. I have a very good friend who was about to junk a truck they was already swapped into. I'm thinking they came from a 96-98 obs truck. I had to buy hardware to make them fit my truck though.
I don't know exactly but, I used some that were almost the same size as the outer bolts. Since there are no holes there for mounting, I had to drill through the floor and use flat washers and blue lock tight on the bolts. I hope this helps!✊🏾✊🏾
I used my Dewalt hammer drill and attachment to use a deep socket and a box end wrench to fasten them down. I used the factory fastener on one or two holes I think. Have to check the video to be sure. I done forget myself. 😆😆
If I did it, you can too!✊🏾✊🏾 I believe they came out of a 96-98 C1500 extended cab truck. I wish I had the center console from it too but, it was damaged.
@user-hf4eh2ts3q that sounds good. I probably would try that too from when I was deep into the car audio like when I was younger. I hope it works out for you!
