I'm on the other side of the world with a real slow connection trying to listen to this. 248 Pikes and Buckethead still doesn't fail to innovate! Sounds like I have a great backlog to listen to extensively when I get back home in the States.

Feel like the last pike was much better than this, however, I am still digging this one.

Starts off pretty hard and hits you with some soft stuff at the 6 minute mark. then it builds into this beautiful funky ambience.

I feel better now, again.

Buckethead, neste PIKE 248, fez um trabalho primoroso, de qualidade absurda. Um Pike melódico com picos de harmonia impressionantes. Eu ainad estava me acostumando com o excelente Pike 247 e, de repente, surge este Pike fenomenal. Não há mais dúvida: Buckethead é realmente, no âmbito musical, o maior artista desse começo de século.

Bucket is the REAL Superman.

The top melodies sound like violin mentality on perfectly improvised guitar. I'm guessing most Pikes are a flow state. Certainly possible especially considering the voluminous output. Doubtful he labors over these pieces.
