Bucking up all the logs in my woodyard with the 500I 

Mystery wood is probably Mulberry which typically changes from yellow/golden to a darker color. The Mingo Marker and 500i made quick work of those logs! You are the Master of the woodyard!

Nice cutting session. My guess on mystery log is mulberry. Gold when you cut and turns dark over night. Take care.

Great video Scheib! Definitely Mulberry. Bark looks right and Mulberry is a golden yellow when fresh cut and turns a chocolate brown color as it oxidizes after cutting/splitting. 👍

Your mystery wood is mulberry for sure. Yellow on the cut, reddish/brown after iv oxidation. Great firewood!

In Nebraska they call that mystery mulberry. As a tree I don’t like it -birds eat the berries and crap purple stains all over your vehicles, deck ,etc. It is pretty dense and wet when cut, splits well and dries medium/slow. I like it for firewood others swear by it for smoking wood.

I always get a little giddy when I'm cutting and hit some yellow saw dust, its like gold.. pretty much anything that has yellow burns real hot once dried out, mulberry, hedge, locust, osage all exceptional stuff

I came into the same kind of wood last year and I had to look it up and it's definitely mulberry. Heats almost as good as oak

Iiii iiii Bert custom guy with Chris in the woodyard cut a log 🪵 early this morning with 34 degree angle 📐 on his buckin this morning. Start at 16” and end up with 26” on the bottom of the log . 😮 it’s the chain sharp or rake not file right or both buddy . 😊

There’s nothing like man glitter to round out the day.

SCHEIB you should all you hear is how fast a 500i are . With 2 hrs you should buck up 3 full cords in 2 hrs remember STAND AND BUCKIN with sugar in your pockets running a stihl buddy . 😊

If the yellow colored wood is fairly heavy it is probably mulberry.

Yellow chips it not yellow pine , it the old mulberry buddy . 😊

Hi, Maybe you have mentioned this topic before, but haven't you considered to upgrade to smaller sawmill conjunction with firewood business? You have some beautiful logs there.

I have been noticing. The background in your lit looks like a subdivision. Just curious. Do you have problems with any of your neighbors with the chainsaws?

Definitely Mulberry! Smokes up like apple! Split it small with pizza wedge and keep it aside if you want to sell smoking bags or bundles….!

I don't know if in your budget but seeing you bending over cutting that wood made my back hurt I use my tractor with log tongs and can lift them and move them to where I want also you mentioned a boiler I use those 1/3 cord bags I put them on my forks and put it under the conveyor and split all that short stuff right into the bags because you can't stack those pieces, I have a pallet under the bag and take the whole thing to the burner

The yellow is Osage or the Indians call in iron wood. Great smoking wood. Gets really hot dangerous for firewood

Pretty sure that is Basswood. Not very good for burning. Pine and Poplar produce more heat than Basswood.

Iiiii iiiii think 🤔 you need to sharpen your chain cutting in a circle ⭕️ cut on u tube buddy . Might be too much on one ☝️ of the rake , you know how the chainsaw is cutting right or left in the cut buddy . 😊
