I was going to the range but it was so cold and windy. If your at the range today I might see you. I need a better powder for shotguns I'll get some advise.
I heard you picked up some BB shot today from our friendly local gun shop. He sure got a big score of shot & stuff since my last visit. Too bad we did not cross paths today as I actually had those Lee Slugs with me today.
Awsome video man!never seen that done before by hand.I have loaded my share of trap loads and slugs but never paper hulls.I have a question for ya if I may,with plastic hulls and my reloader step 1 or 2 is resizing the hull.you dont have to with paper hulls?Do your loads cycle through your gun ok,no jams.thanks for a very interesting video

700x or Unique are good because they are pistol powders as well. I bought some .311 round ball dies and although it takes a while they make nice buckshot but I will need to get more .375 balls they hit hard. Hopefully I'll get some full length brass shells to reload 12 gauge with so it will really look old school.
ebay has them from time to time. The Lee Load all is a better kit if your using plastic shells but it you have paper and a source of wads there is something cool bout home made buck or slugs!
They cycle fine but I think that is because they form to one shotgun. Most pumps or double barrels will accept it if they are off but a semi my bark. They feed amazing through my old 1897. I will pick up a lee loader but it is awefully fun. Thank you for the interest! Check out channel 314299 he is the guy that got me into it. He has a great channel.
