honestly them making such a thing out of bucky "not being a killer anymore" is very odd, because like...post-winter soldier bucky in the comics DOES kill people, and not infrequently. the same way he killed people in WWII. his whole thing is about figuring out who he is and how he fits into the world being a man out of time and after decades of people breaking down and dismantling every part of what makes him him. him not to killing people is not the most interesting thing they could be focusing on.

Hey, in Bucky's defense that SWAT team had been sent with very explicit orders to kill him, so he was actually fighting for his life. Also Steve was *not helping* when he kept bitching about him just trying to stop himself being shot in the head and getting out of the building.
