I always loved the moment where Sam tells Buck "we aren't assassins" because I just imagine Bucky's inner monologue in that moment being him thinking "I was literally a sniper in WW2, and then a secret killing machine for 70 years, dafuq are you talking about, bird-boy?"
The juxtaposition of the cop's apprehension toward Sam, a well-intentioned individual with biomechanical enhancements, and his relative indifference toward Bucky, a former Hydra soldier with a history of violence, is striking. While the cop's fear of the unknown may be understandable, it is important to remember that Sam's actions are motivated by a desire to do good, while Bucky's past actions were driven by manipulation and brainwashing. The cop's misplaced fear highlights the dangers of prejudice and the importance of judging individuals based on their actions rather than their appearance or perceived capabilities.
It is ironic that Bucky and Sam bicker so much they are an old unmarried married couple. And that Bucky is just so done that he just doesn't care anymore and anything in reference to steve from anyone, he gets sassy and irritated. Also, how he had to defend Sam to the police officer probably makes him remember some of his past in a terrible light to see that this issue is still going on. That face he gave as the police officer was "apologizing" just said it all. Bucky is just the best 106 old grandpa anyone could have lol
I love that the Winter Soldier scream comes up when Zemo starts saying the trigger words. It's like Bucky is once again hearing himself screaming in his head just as he used to when HYDRA still had him. FYI, the sound effect includes a slowed-down version of Bucky's scream when he fell off the train. I learned this from The Canadian Lad.
According to his SHIELD file, he was born in 1922, so he would have been 15 at the time. And he must have had a British friend or knew someone who traveled, since the first American edition wasn't printed until 1938. I like to think that he and Steve both read it, maybe sharing the one copy.
Further research has revealed the SHIELD file is wrong; Bucky was born in 1917, so he would have been 20 when he read The Hobbit. Which is somehow even better.
The Banter ist just hillarious, but also the Chemistry between Macky, Stan and Brühl is top notch! I never get tired of watching these 3 having their moments heheheheh!
I love how when the police stop sam and think that he's bothering bucky, Bucky steps in and is like, "bish know your place. This is my friend and you can't talk to him like that 😠".
I love the banter between the two. I understand wanting to give Sam a chance to shine on his own in Captain America 4, and Bucky in Thunderbolts, but I’m going to miss the chemistry. Also, please bring Sharon Carter back into the MCU, and filet her be a bad guy for real!!
1. Weapon. 2. Effective shield (deflects bullets) 3. Strength (against metal poles he can put his hand right through it), just hope it's not your bones instead!
Very funny. Thank you for sharing If your reading this I hope you have a great day and know. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NIV
