The fact that they split these two apart AGAIN is so messed up. And the fact that their goodbye was the only interaction we got to see between them in Endgame was so weird too.
You know what's a horrible dream? The Endgame ending. Except it's a horrible reality. Steve, I love you, but you really did take all the stupid with you. How could you do that to Bucky?

Literally Steve fought for so long to get Bucky back, and then when they’re finally at peace the Russo’s just like “nah he going back to the 40’s and staying there” I would have loved it if he went back, danced with Peggy and THEN came back but no. Bucky told Steve in civil war that he didn’t know if he was worth all of this, and he finally got his answer in the most heartbreaking way. 😭
it's horrible. but I blame bad writing (and steve, because it's bucky! how could you steve?) after all these interviews it seems to me they don't know what they are doing at all.
I don't know how to feel about Steve and Bucky in the Endgame because it feels like Steve left Bucky alone and won't be there till the end of the line (because he's old now and Bucky doesn't age and will live a long life without Steve). I don't know if I make any sense

I'm crying again. Eg's ending is truly the shittiest end to anything ever. In no alternate reality or timeline would Steve actually leave Bucky. Thanks for this, it's perfect! 🧡
This is perfect. It heals my heart (just a little). I feel broken by the Endgame, especially I am disappointed that there was no more interaction between Steve and Bucky. This video is beautifully made, it captures all the important moments, I love the music and the editing, it's lovely.

I can‘t believe how little interactions they got in endgame i mean i expected it but stilll ....but i‘m glad the did the parallel with the „taking all the stupid with you“ lines that broke my heart. Tbh what I've been doing to deal with Endgame is just come up with a bunch of alternate realities in which it makes sense... This is a great one to add to the list! Amazing video!

oof that hit me right in the gut. I have never felt a connection to these two characters, but when watching this video for the first time I felt that emotion that everyone who is invested in this relationship must feel. My heart felt in pain. Now I feel regret that I never gotten involved in the story of these two men. But after watching this video, I'm going to go back and watch the films again and see if something is different this time for me. I have so many other things to say about this video I dont know where to start. But the way you cut/arranged the song was very clever, I went to listen to the original and I much prefer how you arranged it. The song, btw, was so perfect. I especially love the scene at 1.11 in the elevator to the line "then i love you" and bucky looks at him. Seems like such an intimate moment. I mean the moment goes by so quickly, but it had a lot of impact on me. And the way he turns away from Peggy and back to Bucky who should be his true partner was also such great part. Of course that "its a horrible dream" line was SO clever. I have read the spoilers for the ending, and what an utter load of crap. anyway, thank you for creating this video and making me feel so many beautiful emotions towards these two, that I have not been able to feel before. Maybe I need some good fic to read of them or something.
when I first heard this song, it seemed to me so nice and romantic, and then I read somewhere that song was about break-up, divorce or something. I never thought I would use it with these characters, well, I never thought that these characters would hit me so painfully. this is insane :D I do not remember that I was so outraged by anything in the movies before. I see the logic in such a decision, prudence even, but in terms of emotions this is just some kind of mess. I tried to do all the vid with bucky's focal, but at the end it seems that Steve also responds him, and I left it as it is, because it is still bucky's voice but what Steve responds him is, perhaps, only his imagination. or I just invest too many thoughts even in a simple combination of scenes. I already say to myself be simpler, few people will notice your efforts. thanks a lot again. I think you will not regret reading fanfiction about them, because there are a lot of them and a lot of good ones.
Oh wow this song is about breakup? Now I'm looking at it in a totally different light. I thought this video was 100 percent about steve returning buckys feelings of love. Even though steve still left in the end, I thought that is what it was - although now I think I was just seeing what I wanted to see - like Bucky. Like you said "Steve responds him is, perhaps, only his imagination" ..which just adds so many layers to this video. That's a really neat idea to vid it in that kind of perspective. Though now its even more heartbreaking. yikes I am going to Ao3 right now! D:

This is so good, so heartbreaking, but one thing I wanted to point out that isn't the wonderful editing/clip choice is the beautiful coloring which sets the mood.

@@lookingforastar всё не так, да, всё не то. я так и вовсе пошла на эндшпиль, чтобы, так сказать, отдать дань уважения фандому, в котором до этого торчала (но уже вроде как остыла и охладела). но вот показывают последнюю сцену. у меня аж челюсть на пол упала. я так охренел, что не выхренел обратно до сих пор. и все стаки филзы вдруг вновь выбрались на поверхность. я раздосадован, возмущен и никогда не прощу руссо даунгрейд персонажа кэпа и то, что они забили болт на баки >__< ПыСы. но хоть что-то хорошее это за собой принесло - сейчас словно все приверженцы стаки встрепенулись, и вот и ты уже не можешь удержаться и делаешь нам по-красивому больно своим видосом :3 ПыПыСы я, кстати, пока еще держусь, не трогая никакие камрипы, но чую, что скоро тоже зафейлю, не дождавшись качества хДД
@@innundirskinni они превратили стива в мудака. я сразу вспоминаю "гражданку", где тони ему говорит что-то вроде: "весь мир был не прав на счет тебя". и я помню такая: не, с кэпом все норм. он просто любит баки. а тут эндшпиль и я: "о, и я тоже была не права". еще при просмотре фильма я удивлялась, когда он смотрит на портрет пегги и говорит наташе: "я не знаю, что сделаю, если ниче не выйдет", я такая: че? при чем здесь пегги-то? ну, ладно, у него, наверное, фото баки спрятан там, но потом он в группе поддержки вспоминает пегги, и я себя вновь успокаиваю тем, что он, наверное, за 5 лет много раз рассказывал о баки, о том, как потерял его и нашел, и опять потерял и нашел, чтобы потом снова потерять, и, наверняка, спугнул своей драмой людей из группы :D потом он отвлекает стива из прошлого тем, что баки жив, и вроде все норм, но на главной битве все друг с другом воссоединяются кроме стива и баки, а потом стив уходит, и вся эта неестественность с пегги вроде обретает смысл, но сильно возмущает. все смерти, которые тож меня задели, как-то больше не имеют значения, они были грустными, но каноничо значимыми, и только стив не тил зе энд оф зе лайн и все пр. если что, я на пиратбэе скачивала экранку, если не накладывать особо колоринг, а только немного снизить контраст и зашарпить (ну, у меня еще оверлей сверху), то вроде особо глаза резать не будет.
@@lookingforastar в тотального эгоиста, да. охренеть какой даунгрейд персонажа! и если с баки, когда он впервые пошел на перекор своим моральным установкам (вот когда показали его как бы слабую сторону, но она была абсолютно логична) - это было закономерно и объяснимо, ибо баки был ВСЮ жизнь рядом с ним. они прошли огонь, воду и становление персонажа, то конец арки кэпа с возвращением к пэгги выглядит как розовосопельный куце-написаный фанфик. просто фтопку зимнего и гражданку. вот зачем они были нужны? сразу бы после первых мстителей бы и перепрыгнули на этот момент. не говоря уж о том, что такой слабовольный поступок больше в духе пубертатного мальчишки, который всё никак свой первый краш преодолеть не может, а никак не в духе такого грандиозного персонажа, как кэп. особенно в сравнении с концовкой, которую подарили тони - кэп особенно нелицеприятно выглядит на контрасте :// реально настолько это оос вдруг выглядит. даже если на минуту забыть про баки. это не тот стив. стив грудью на амбразуру во имя всего хорошего всю жизнь готов был положить, а тут нате вам. и я просто охреневаю с того, как много людей схавали такую концовку. ну, типа, хэппи энд же, он заслужил, да и пофиг, что сценарий и развитие персонажа всосали. нам не нужно кач-во, нам нужен результат. и все равно, что он притянут за уши и какие последствия такое решение за собой несет. и щас мы все такие сидим, чё, тилл зе энд оф зе лайн, посоны, дыа, ха-ха. ПыСы. там на бее столько рипов. меня бесит, что там нет норм сриншотов, чтоб оценить перед скачкой. но, по ходу, придется выискивать лучший путем скачивания ВСЕХ. может, чё и получится с парочкой кадров в итоге. спасибо за совет
@@innundirskinni у некоторых там есть скрины ссылками, но на какой-то незнакомый фотохостинг. ой, я уже начиталась всяких fix it и даже просто страдашки от баки, заслуживающего лучшего. фики нас спасут. но да, если отбросить стаки, то стив просто бросил настоящее со своими друзьями, коллегами, с которыми он был больше 10 лет, ради какой-то эфемерной ностальгии о прошлом. да он пегги-то знал всего-ничего. и весь посыл 3 фильмов с кэпом о том, что нужно двигаться дальше, просто перечеркнут, типа не старайся, у тебя не выйдет преодолеть прошлое и проблемы в будущем, поэтому дождись-ка чудо-камня и вернись в прошлое, чтобы все исправить (видела на тумблере картинку со старой пегги и с подписью: "i told you to fucking move on" :D). о, меня еще переданный щит сэму возмутил :D не, баки и так крут, с рукой и пр. и я понимаю этот ход сценаристов, но (нам ведь не показали, что именно он обсуждал с баки до того, как уйти, и обсуждал ли) все это выглядит реальным dick move.

Sorry for late reply. haha. To be honest, I feel like through the many many number of fics I have read, I have only found a couple that pulled at my heartstrings. But I can hardly know which ones they are because they are mixed up with dozens of other bookmarks of stucky fic that I found in rec posts that I wanted to try out. So now I don't even know which were the ones I liked, lol. Except I think the one chapter stories seemed to be the better ones. For me, I like angst, but not cheesy angst (which it usually is) and I don't like comedy, or steggy and I really have no care for any of the other avengers - so if they could just stay in the background that would be great, lol. Gosh, i'm picky haha. Thank you! I am taking on your advice and searching evanstan! here's hoping!!
