Sleeping/Shifting Ambience
Imagine:
It's been five years since your time at HYDRA. You haven't really talked about your time there with anyone else on the Avengers team, holding those memories deep within your own mind. No one could possibly begin to imagine what you went through whilst under their control. That is, except for Bucky. After all, he's the only other person to experience it first hand all those years ago. He was there the day Steve ordered the raid on the HYDRA base that set you free, and he hasn't left your side since.
Now, as the late autumn evening draws to a close, you curl up beside him in bed as you try to rest after a long day. Rain falls on the bedroom window of your shared apartment. But wrapped up in blankets and Bucky's arms, you feel safe as you're shielded from the harsh weather outside.
Your weary body drifts in and out of sleep. But as your mind starts to wander, suppressed memories of your time at HYDRA slowly begin to creep into your subconscious mind. They invade your dreams, turning pleasant dreams into inescapable horrors. Waking up in the middle of the night, your shaking fear jolts Bucky awake from his slumber next to you. He's full of concern as he fears for your safety. After everything that you've been through, he promised that he'd never let anything bad happen to you again. As he soothes you back to sleep, he reminds you of this...
