I went to Budapest last year 2019 and I'm glad I did .. before the Covid-19 shutdown and lockdown. Boy O Boy, I'm so mesmerized by that city. I think it's the best in all Europe in terms of the city wise .. so charming and elegant.

Oh man, I went to that spring water spa. In fact when I arrived in Budapest, I was having the meanest lower back pain ever! I stayed one day in the mineral waters of that Spa, then a good night of sleep, and next morning I was almost 100%! It saved my Budapest trip!

Visited at Christmas. This amazing city was even more beautiful with all the Christmas markets. The architecture, the food and the very friendly people make it a rare treasure. I will definitely be back.
I went there before Covid ...it was so beautiful..there are just no words to tell you how beautiful it was.. My daughter and I were on a river cruise.. and this was definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen...
I've lived in Budapest for the past 20 years. It's rated the best city in the world to visit by CNN readers. Great place. Great food, nice people - they mind their own business and don't judge you, unlike in England. No racism, very peaceful place. However, this film must be at least 15 years old. It's improved since then.

I highly recommend Budapest. It was the best city trip I ever made. Loved it!! It is beautiful, safe, friendly people, clean, cheap. I loved everything about it. The hungarian baths are AMAZING

Hi Rick Steves I'm in Budapest right now with my wife and daughter enjoying your advice for sightseeing. On Castle hill we discovered a wondrful offer at the Hilton hotel. We were tired and weary after walking around the beautiful palace grounds. Hilton Hotel had an offer of choice of Cofee and choice of pastry for HUF 1650 . So we relaxed our tired feet and bodies sipping delicious coffee and nibbled on tasty treats. The bonus was the ability to charge our mobile phone batteries along with our bodies in five star comfort. Refreshed in body and mind we continued ahead to explore the rest of the trip. It is a beautiful city. I am so lucky to be living in this wonderful place. My family and I certainly have found Paradise at last. So much to do and see. Keep finding places to visit. Lovely walks and very interesting buildings. Love this city so much.

We were there few weeks ago and let me tell you it's beautiful!!! We tour inside there Parliament & it's amazing. ...... We had dinner cruise at night and it's even more beautiful w lights. Highly recommend to anyone......

Its not that hard but when people ask me to say something gin Hungarian ( coz I'm Hungarian) they try to say it but its the 't' that lots of people cant do that sound but its alright and the spelling it is reached strange to me as well and I've been learning my numbers at ten years old cos we moved from Hungary when I was 4 so I had never gone to school until we moved to england

Ummm Budapest The Most Beautiful country on God's earth in my humble opinion. The people are just soo wonderful and warm natured. the country is absolutely fabulous! I went to Budapest in September 2003 to visit my friend. She took me to the hot spring where Rick was playing chess. I visited many places not only in Budapest but also other cities and towns for one week. I walked on the Chain Bridge and the parliament bldg. Thank you for showing me Budapest.
I would like to thank Rick for this beautiful program! I am a FREE Cuban who had the privilege of going to school at the University Of Economics between 1980, and 1986. The Hungarian language is hard to learn indeed...but easy if your mind is setup to learn it. In my case it was easy...Learn Hungarian, or go back to Cuba, the Castro brothers' prison...I did indeed learnt Hungarian...I left in 1986, and gain my freedom in Canada...Castro is still waiting for me...ONE OF HIS EX-SLAVES...and me waiting for him to drop dead. Europe in general has lots of history, I would love to visit Budapest and the rest of Europe one day, I've been to Krakow warsaw and few more polish cities, lots of beautiful places to visit in Europe.
