This is the best use of the internet. I think that without the internet all this sort of information about spiritually awakening would be much harder to come by. There would still be established religions, but you would probably never hear from anyone who has had first hand experiences. Thank you for sharing. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Excellent point! Very often, when confronted with scammers online, I feel sad that this magnificent tool, the internet, which has such power to unite humanity for good, sometimes gets used only to harm others. @@iamdebmiller What I've heard is whenever you eat the flesh of a certain animal, that you can pick up on that animals traits. If you eat cows, you can become "bullheaded," or stubborn and if you eat pork that you may start overeating like a pig, and that sort of thing. I don't know how true it is, but it makes some sense to me. I think the Hindu Satvic diet is a good one. It's all vegetarian, but also products made from milk. They have the Bhrama cows that have the hump on there necks, and they are the only mammal that produces Omega 3 fatty acids, but most importantly is that they are treated very well. I use ghee that is made in the Aryuvedic way, which is to let the milk culture before churning it into butter, and then when it's heated it transforms the good bacteria in yogurt into a type of acid that is really healthy for the body. Two types of food that work very great together and help with spiritual sadhana is Neem and Turmeric. The yogi's will take this everyday before they start there practices and meditation. I hope this helps you.

I'm so glad I listened to this. I had two spiritual experiences when I was a teenager. When he spoke about the sound and the light, it really affirmed my experiences. When I told people about my experiences, they brushed it off or thought I was lying /crazy/ weird so I stopped talking about it and stopped valuing it. But it was profound. It happened twice during prayer. I dissolved into light and sound. The light started like I was going blind with snowballs of yellow, light orange and white light except the light wasn't in front of my eyes, it came from inside me and then it was pure bright light and I was completely blind with it, there was no longer direction -no right, no left, down nor up... I didn't have a body and nothing around me - the whole world disappeared. The sound was amazing - many many sounds all together, some like buzzing of a swarm of bees, some like bells, some like the sound of a security alarm but very loud and not heard from outside through my ears. It came from within. Listening to him made me realise to hold on to and think about the meaning of those experiences. After very negative traumatic experiences my faith took a knock because I felt abandoned by God but I need to put things in perspective - perhaps I was being told to not take those events so personally and seriously because they aren't "real" . I didn't die and it wasn't an NDE but now that I look at it, those experiences were important. I'm also a painter and theres a shape like the cross section of a sea shell that looks likes a spiral that I've been drawing since I was a child and I don't know why. I hope one day I understand these things. Anyway thanks for this video - I enjoyed listening to it and its comforting to know there are people interested in these spiritual things since I can't find many people around me who talk about it or understand what I'm talking about.

Thanks for sharing your profound experience. Not here to promote anything, but Buddhism has it all mapped out. These experience of light Presence is the true experience of Reality. In Buddhism, we don't call it God or anything..for practical reasons. The reasons are that very quickly Reality will be re-hidden by erroneous misinterpretation. The way to initiate the path to regain deeper such experience is to realise the attribute of Reality. The first awakening is to directly realise that there is no Self at all. Even that Reality...which often is called God...is not a self. That is why most cannot re..experience..becos the illusion of being a self...prevents the clear perception again. Understanding Reality is a long process..taking lifetimes..it is not easy. Buddhism have the system all mapped out.

Reality is not broken into parts or things..it is whole. But to create the illusion of physical world n things..processes are initiated. In Buddhism, this understanding is described as Emptiness..and why things appear as they are as 'Dependent Origination.' Thanks for reading.

@@tombalthis513 Christian’s never even understood Jesus’s message. We are all children of God. We are all aspects of the divine. This was Jesus’s message but his followers and the church misunderstood his message. Son of God means he is a manifestation of the divine. The Buddha said the same thing hundreds of years earlier, that he and all of us are manifestations of the Dharmakaya (Buddhist equivalent of God). If Christianity is the only true path, then why do so many non-Christian’s have blissful ndes and aren’t punished in eternal torment because they don’t believe in Christ? It’s time people stop being so childish and acknowledge that no religion is 100% true, but they can all be a useful vehicle to get to God.

I had an OBE experience with Buddha while living in Thailand, very interesting and showed me his awesomeness via his beautiful garden which seemed to be in a metaphysical space between heaven and earth! The flower in the middle of the garden was so integrate and beautiful. I am so honored and blessed that he took time out for me to show me his place. This happened when I was going through massive heat exhaustion that triggered my ability to leave my body at a Wat that was nearby when my heat exhaustion started to affect me. I walked to the wat with what little strength I had left and sat down by a wall in the Wat. Leaned my back against the wall and then it happened. I shot out of my body and went up an area (not beam) of light. Along the way of my upward movement I stopped and the garden unfolded in front of me. One of the most important takeaways for anyone out there reading this post to know its Buddha is ... by the overwhelming compassion you feel of the world around you and the uncanny knowing it's from him. It is so powerful it makes you want to cry like a baby.

I was the 555 like! 10:45 - He's right that time doesn't exist as we know it on the other side because once our spirits leave Earth we're no longer part of a world that rotates approximately every 24 hours and revolves around our sun about every 365 days. However, NDErs say that we agreed to abide by Earth time during our lifetime here as humans. ⏰ Robert's painting looks like blooming roses to me. 👍 - Lotus out of the mud. I've been dealing with extreme chronic pain and illness for decades as well so this NDE really means a lot to me. I had major surgery in 2015 and I told God I did not want an NDE because I didn't want to have to come back here after getting to experience that and I didn't have one. I'm really grateful to Robert for sharing his with us and for teaching us what he's learned. After taking a peek at both of his books just now, I bought 'Timeless Luminosity' and 'The Frog' on Kindle. I appreciate how open and honest Robert is about what he was thinking as he was writing it. Everything he says in this video resonates with me and most of it are thoughts I have too. I love that his teacher said, "Life is like a big dream with a lot of little dreams inside of it." "The Buddha and Christ taught paths that help us attain awareness." - Robert Aho - "Love and compassion are a path." 💞

Best video I've seen!! Thank you! And thank God or the universe or whatever people believe in. I loved it when he spoke about bullying people trying to make them believe like we do. We are all intertwined and connected no matter what religion or where we come from!!! I do believe that any judgement we go through is going to be what we did to other people. Key features, from this story… 1. Great light but with pure love and no pain.Brighter than anything else, sounds, swirling energies, vibrant colours. 2. No time, eternity being part of everything, no tunnel in his case.. already there. Life is everywhere. We are in dullest part of universe. 3. No body, not like human body. 4. Light telling NDE person need to go back into body, although know do not want to. 5. Desire to awaken, inherent in all humans, helping others, normal for Buddhist’s). We are on earth because we need to awaken. 6. Multiple lifetimes, confirmed. 7. Return from NDE to human form is painful, need to reconstruct ‘fabrication of self’ to be human again.. ego, physical requirements.

@@jesusisgod2283- So what that other people see GOD - The Creator by other ways - LOVE is the way to the truth and as we as Spiritual Beings having a human, physical experience are all different, we will all end up knowing that we are all part of the oneness that is GOD, that is LOVE. Show respect and understanding for others because that's what Jesus does - He does not judge because He knows that we all come to the same realization in our different spiritual paths when the time is right. Please remember that Jesus never forces anyone to do or believe anything, He teaches us to love each other and to be respectful of others no matter what their spiritual beliefs are so long as they do not harm any living thing. People have the right to their own spiritual journey without being judged, one is not better than the other because we are all interconnected with each other which is our uniqueness with God/Source/The Light/LOVE.

Tibetan monks keep their image without embalming, and some say they are still alive and their death resembles sleep. "Centuries-lasting ecstasy" is how researchers call the phenomenon of "postmortem meditation." Tibetan practice haunts scholars because of the unusual behavior of the body. For example, the bodies of Buddhist monks, frozen forever in the lotus position, do not decompose. And it seems that the brain takes much longer to die than normal people and all this without mummification. There is a shrine of special significance to tens of millions of Buddhists in Buryatia. Every year, believers from all over the world flock to Ivolginsky Datsan near Ulan-Ude to see the main miracle: the immortal body of a monk in one of the temples (Dogans). “This is Dashi Dorzo Itigelov, who lived here a hundred years ago. In 1927, feeling his death imminent, he gathered his students and bequeathed them to inspect his grave every 25 years. Then he sat in the lotus position and began to meditate,” says resident Datsan. In this position, he was placed in a cedar coffin. The body was only discovered in 2002. "I feel as if he died two days ago: not the slightest sign of decomposition!" A local monk says. "Even the hair hasn't changed." This was also confirmed by specialists from the Russian Center for Forensic Examination. According to them, the hairline is identical in characteristics to the live hairline. Although the body itself is considered dead, the body temperature is not more than twenty degrees. In nearly 20 years of research, scientists haven't explained how this is possible. Moreover, the Eteglove phenomenon is not the only phenomenon. There are similar "monastic mummies" in other countries. Seven years ago, the body of a monk who died in 1852 was found in a Mongolian monastery. “Apparently, he died meditating. This is the so-called tukdam: the students gather around the llama and absorb its energy. Almost no moisture is left. However, the brain is working and consciousness is preserved,” says anthropologist Jankugen Purivpata. Some experts say that the monk is still alive - the body temperature, albeit lower than normal, is not significant. But others do not believe this. According to Buddhist ideas, in the Tokdam, a person controls consciousness by himself. In this case, some lamas stay for a week, a month, or several years, as if delaying their final death. According to some scholars, this completely changes the idea of death. Western medicine considers a dual state: either alive or dead. However, as we can see, biological processes are not a discontinuous system,” says American psychologist Richard Davinson. Hence the hypothesis: human consciousness "lives" for some time after all biological mechanisms have ceased. It is very likely that Tibetan monks learned about this many centuries ago and learned to "control the dying". Davinson's team investigated the Buddhist scores in Tokdam. Key indicators of the body were measured during meditation and after death. It turns out that the body in this state decomposes more slowly. Another thing is the brain. Electroencephalograms of the 13 dead showed no heartbeats. True, the scientific community drew attention to an important detail: the monks were studied 26 hours after their death. "Unfortunately, most Buddhist monasteries in India are located in places that are difficult to access," notes anthropologist Dylan Lot. However, indirect evidence suggests that after vital organs stop working, the brain sends signals for several more hours. And during this period, consciousness, apparently, does not leave. ”It's the first minutes after cardiac arrest that scientists are interested in. This is because science grapples with questions about the nature of consciousness: what is it and where is it located? So experts turned to centuries-old religious practices. Russian scientists were among the first to do so. Two years ago, the Brain Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences agreed with the 14th Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, to establish two research centers in monasteries in southern India. Lamas have also been studied in deep meditation. It was found that during "immersion" the body reacts less to signals from the outside world. And this happens spontaneously, without the participation of consciousness. This phenomenon is most evident in Tokdam. The body of the deceased looks as if he slept: there are no signs of decomposition, the skin is elastic. “Any ordinary person, when he enters a room with a dead person, feels some separation, unwillingness to approach, discomfort. There is no such thing with tokdam - there is a feeling,” says Academician Svyatoslav Medvedev, Head of the Brain Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. kind of calm." Why this is not known for certain. Perhaps the tone of the body after death is preserved by the brain, where some kind of activity is maintained. And the scientist adds: "Another version: under the influence of meditation, upon death, some substances are released that protect cells from decomposition." But so far there are no answers to these questions. Research into the phenomenon of "postmortem meditation" will continue

I think the light he talks about is the source itself, God… he was a part of that light, although he wasn’t separate from it. That’s why he had no consciousness while he was in it/ was it. It was just awareness. He also couldn’t remember that he was ever even alive as a being. Once he started seeing some colors he remembered that he was alive as a being before . So he regained the consciousness once he started seeing some colors. I guess that’s when the ‘separation’ started and he was reincarnated again on earth.

No emotion at all. When I returned to the body I felt I had experienced exaltation, the best description. The eternal now is like looking at a film reel of your entire life, you are viewing every frame, every second of your life, all at once. Every day of your life would be witnessed, all at once......now also imagine yourself looking out from each one of those frames. You would see your eternal self, your eternal self would exist always, ever time you looked out from your frame in time, you would always see your eternal self looking down at you. Lord Buddha said every sentient beings have Buddha nature. He also said anything that require your confirmation of its existence is an illusion. In other words if we kept thinking I must loves myself and others you will always be trapped in this illusional world. Therefore, compassion has to be spontaneous and without conditions, biase, taste, sounds, smell or touch. Sadly a lot of teaching seems intellectually or logically easy to understand and making sense but end of the day it like explaining someone what is death. Yes we know what is death but do we really know until we experience it. Diamond sutra ( English version) by Alex Johnson on RU-vid might help explain a little more.

I would like to give my take on what "Time" is. It is simply the mechanism that is created to define what happened between two points. We cannot say time does not exist because even in a timeless expanse, if you move your hand, you can say "In the time it took to move my hand", even if it is instant. You can also then create reference points: EG before, after, or during the time you moved your hand. I believe people often think time is some weird natural law, but truly it is just a consequence of things happening in a plane or dimension that has something going on in it. Lets say you are now just a pure consciousness in an infinite void. YOU in your perspective may seem to not experience time, but each thought that passes adds more reference points which could technically be used to "create" a timeline. Eventually, you will be able to use each of those thoughts as reference points to create some version of "time" in your experience.

Even the ideas that don't go as far as this guy and would still say she will exists within that Ultimate Good/Love as an individual, I don't want her to be a mere 'part of' it... Think I prefer romantic love, part of my human condition though it might be. The other kind sounds very cold and abstract. The idea it actually LACKS specific kinds of love as well- rather than just having them at a far higher degree than we can imagine- sounds awful to me. I'd rather a Highest Love that is the pinnacle of ALL Love, rather than just a completely separate definition to what love even exists as. And if there is an afterlife (I'm not convinced) I'd hate if the goal of our existence rendered our most precious experiences of life as utterly meaningless -or just a 'lesson' to get through. Surely life is more beautiful, more meaningful, more valuable and wonderful than that? And romantic love isn't just some illusion of unenlightened beings, we all will 'get over'? The sooner we can escape the illusion the better! Don't date people. Don't care. Just meditate and hope it'll all be over soon. Think the person you consider your soulmate matters?
