Ho Sue What an honour it must of been for you to play with the great Buddy Guy you played so well with him you deserve it all because to me you are now one of the greats Sue I'm so pleased for you your massive big fan from England🇬🇧💖👍😃🎸
The honour should have been Guy's. Sue is a professional and a consummate musician. Sadly, Buddy Guy did not progress musically through the decades. He was great up until about the mid 1970's, but he regrettably devolved to the point of finally becoming, in live concert at least, just a parody of the blues and a tiresome onstage clown. Has anyone actually attended or read reviews of his live concerts over the past 40 years or more? Reviews of his recent Massey Hall concerts in Toronto tell the same story as they have for many, many years.
YES... SUE FOLEY is as AWESOME Live as she is performing on her Incredible CDs! What a TREAT seeing her JAMMIN' with BUDDY GUY... AWESOME... PURE AWESOMENESS!!!
no, he was getting a quite crude .. Sue didn't seem that impressed a few times. 10:10 ..one leg in the east one leg in the west , he was in the middle trying to do his best . She wasn't very impressed with that , and other things before that

No impress with Buddy , he degrades Sue at 10:00 .. """One leg is in the east , one leg is in the west .. but im down the middle trying to do my best """.
Buddy Guy has been a total bore and embarrassment to the Blues since the mid 70's. He has done nothing of even the slightest interest since the early years with Junior Wells. I hope Sue was not made to feel too uncomfortable by Guy's usual, and predictably asssinine, onstage babbling.
wow dude chill...very harsh critique....and as you see Ms Foley was more than able to Hang...a testament to her amazing talent,,,Sue is a true Bluesman , because of blues artists like Sue the blues is in Great hands for future Generations.......yo please revist the Great blues albums that Buddy Guy has put out in the last 40 years...
That's the truth. I've never understood the acclaim that's been heaped upon him from people whose opinions I would usually respect. Two Chicago bluesmen who should have been given more fame than they received were Jimmie Johnson, and of course, Otis Rush.
Seen BUDDY GUY at least 5 Times over the past 20 years, in his Chicago Club surprising guests, headlining The Southside Shuffle, and at Massey Hall at least 3 Times: he's a Character who SURE craves the Attention, but Deserves RESPECT, too! Absolutely!!!
