Back in the `80's, (around this point in time) Buddy did an hour long special on HBO. Dad & I both watched it. Dad loved it. I had no complaints. But, after that was a George Carlin special! Dad complained about George and how he couldn't stand him because he swore so much. Dad was no prude, but, he had a thing about people swearing too much. I said, "Buddy swears just as much as George! Maybe more!" Dad didn't believe me and walked away while I watched George by myself A few days later both of those shows were on again, dad wasn't around, so, I got a tablet and every time Buddy swore, I wrote the word on the table on the left side. If he said the word more than once, I'd put a tick mark beside the word to keep track of how many times he said it! Then George came on and I did the same for him on the right side of the paper. After I was done, I tallied everything up and, sure enough, Buddy swore a LOT more than George!! Yet, dad wouldn't watch George's show because HE swore too much!! Lol.

Street jokes are hit or miss. It’s all delivery. You can’t bumble through it or fudge the words. It’s like a script. That being said, I can’t tell one to save my life.
